Ezekiel 13

YHWH condemns the false prophets of Israel who prophesy false visions and lying divinations to lead people astray, declaring woe upon them for their deceit.[1] He also pronounces judgment on the prophetic women who practice magic, hunt souls, and sew bands to ensnare YHWH's people, commanding their practices to end.

and-it-will-be and she became my-hand my hand against toward the-prophets the proclaiming-spokesmen the-seers the vision-seers falsehood empty falsehood and-the-diviners and the divining-ones lie falsehood in-the-council in established confidential council of-my-people my people not not they-will-be they will become and-in-writing and in written record of house house-of of-Israel El-Contends Yiserael not not they-will-be-written they will be written and-to and toward soil soil of of-Israel El-Contends Yiserael not not they-will-enter they come and-you(pl)-will-know and you will know that for/because I I Lord my Sovereign Lord GOD the Being-One Yahweh

therefore accordingly thus in this manner says he said Lord my Sovereign Lord GOD the Being-One Yahweh and-I-will-break-open and I forcefully split open wind breath of of-storms raging storms in-my-wrath in my burning heat and-rain and heavy rain flooding the one flooding in-my-anger in my anger there-will-be he will come to be and-stones-of and building-stones of hail great crystal in-wrath in burning-heat for-destruction to utter end

and-I-will-tear-down and I demolished [direct object marker] object-marker the-wall the wall which that-which you-have-smeared you plastered whitewash unsound plaster and-I-will-bring-it-down and I caused him to be struck to toward the-ground the earth and-it-will-be-uncovered and he was uncovered its-foundation his foundation and-it-will-fall and she fell and-you-will-perish and you shall be brought to an end in-the-midst-of-it in her midst and-you-will-know and you will know that for/because I I the LORD Yahweh Yahweh

and-you-shall-say and you said thus in this manner says he said Lord my Sovereign Lord GOD the Being-One Yahweh woe Woe! to-sewing sewing women pillows covering-cushions upon upon all entirety of wrists prominent ones of of-hands my two hands and-making and the doing-ones kerchiefs the attached veils upon upon head head every entirety of stature stature to-hunt to hunt down souls living beings the-souls the living beings will-you-hunt you women will hunt down of-my-people to my gathered people and-souls and breathing beings for-yourselves — you-preserve you (fem. pl.) give life

and-you-have-profaned you desecrated Me me (object‑marked) to toward My people my people for handfuls in cupped handfuls of of barley barley grains and for pieces and in morsels of of bread bread to put to death to cause to die souls living beings that that-which not not should die they will die and to keep alive and to give life souls living beings that that-which not not should live they will live by your lies in your lying to My people to my gathered people who hear hearers of lies falsehood
