nâphach
and breathe
To blow air, especially by expelling through the mouth or nostrils; to exhale forcibly. The term covers a variety of contexts: the act of breathing life into something; blowing upon, as in the act of kindling fire; expelling air in a strong gust; or, in a more figurative sense, to breath out in the sense of exhaling the last breath, i.e., to expire or die. Occasionally it can also carry the connotation of driving or scattering by means of air currents (wind), or metaphorically of expressing contempt (considered to 'puff at').

SIBI-P1 Translation H5301-07
and blow out!
| Morphological Notes | Qal imperative, 2nd person feminine singular, with prefixed conjunction וּ ("and"). |
| Rendering Rationale | The Qal imperative 2nd feminine singular calls for a direct command to a female addressee. "Blow out" preserves the core sense of forceful exhalation inherent in the root, and the prefixed conjunction וּ is reflected by "and." |

and breathe
| Same as P1 | No — adjusted for context |
| Rationale | 'And breathe' fits the imperative context. P1 'and blow out!' is somewhat misleading; the verb covers 'to breathe/exhale' here. |
