Jeremiah 42

After the Babylonian conquest, the surviving Jewish remnant led by Johanan asks Jeremiah to inquire of YHWH regarding whether they should flee to Egypt, and Jeremiah promises to deliver God's complete message without withholding anything.[1][2] YHWH commands them to remain in Judah and promises blessing, but warns that if they go to Egypt, they will face the very calamities they fear—sword, famine, and pestilence—and will perish there, as YHWH's fury will be poured out upon them as it was upon Jerusalem.[1][3]

Then said and he declared to them toward them Jeremiah Yah Raises the prophet the inspired spokesman I have heard I have heard and taken heed behold I Look—here I am! am praying he who is interceding to toward YHWH the Being One your God your mighty ones according to your words according to your words and it shall be and he will be all whole-of the word the spoken-word that that-which he will answer he will answer YHWH the Being One you you-all I will tell I will make known openly to you — not not I will withhold I withhold from you from you men a word a spoken-word

saying to-say No not but for (as reason or ground) land the firm-standing earth of Egypt Mitsrayim (the Double Narrow-Place) we will go we come where that-which no not we shall see we will see war a battle nor the sound and a voice of the trumpet clear-sounding horn nor not hear he has been heeded nor for bread and for the bread nor not be hungry we hunger and there and there (in that place) we will dwell we will sit-dwell
