3 Secrets Churches Hide About Black History and the True Israelites

Introduction

There are three critical truths about what we know as Black history that churches—both white and Black—won't tell you. First, many of the Black people we see today are the Israelites of the Bible. The poverty in Africa, colonization, Arab slave trade, and transatlantic slave trade are all part of Israelite history, prophesied in the scriptures. Second, the Israelites were Black people according to scripture, with descriptions like bronze-colored feet and ruddy skin. Third, this scattering and enslavement was foretold in Deuteronomy 28 as curses for disobedience, and it doesn't match Jewish history.

These truths challenge Eurocentric Christianity, which deviates from the Bible's teachings. Let's dive into the scriptures.

Secret 1: Black People Are the Biblical Israelites

The history of poverty, colonization, and slave trades isn't just 'Black history'—it's Israelite history. Scriptures prophesy these exact events for the Israelites due to disobedience.

Churches push the lie that all Black people come from Africa. But biblically, at the Tower of Babel around 2600 BC, everyone spoke one language until YHWH confused the tongues and scattered them (Genesis 11). No one was in Africa yet—it was the dispersion point for all nations. It's biblically impossible for all Black people to originate solely from Africa.

Don't rely on interpreters who historically hated and abused Black people. Read the scriptures for yourself.

Secret 2: Scriptures Describe Israelites as Black-Skinned

In my book, The Scattered Israelites, I detail what scriptures say Israelites looked like. Yeshua (Jesus) had bronze-colored feet (Revelation 1:14-15), like burnished bronze—copper alloy with zinc, matching ruddy brown skin, not black like ink but like mine (the speaker's hand shown for comparison).

Even without Revelation 1:14-15, scriptures place Yeshua among people described as having bronze and ruddy skin (e.g., Song of Solomon 1:5-6; Lamentations 4:8; 5:10). This is what we call Black today.

Churches promote a white Yeshua because of Eurocentric Christianity, imported from Europeans. But "Christianity" isn't even in the Bible—it's a deviation. The faith is the Way of YHWH (Acts 9:2; 19:9, 23; 22:4; 24:14, 22). Yeshua, YHWH, apostles—none called it Christianity.

This Eurocentric version rejects the temple and sacrifices (still prophesied in scriptures like Ezekiel 40-48), claims Jews are Israelites, and denies Israelites were Black (or ruddy-skinned).

Bronze pennies and ruddy skin match the same tone—scriptures confirm it.

Secret 3: Slave Trades Fulfilled Deuteronomy 28 Curses on Israelites

Deuteronomy 28 lists curses for disobedience:

"But if you will not obey the voice of YHWH your God... all these curses shall come upon you..." (Deuteronomy 28:15).

Key curses include enslavement:

"...you shall serve your enemies whom YHWH will send against you, in hunger and thirst, in nakedness, and lacking everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you" (Deuteronomy 28:48).

"YHWH will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods of wood and stone..." (Deuteronomy 28:64).

This matches the Arab and transatlantic slave trades—not Deuteronomy 28:68 specifically, but the chapter overall. YHWH sends enemies for sin, leading to iron yokes, scattering, and serving foreign gods.

Jewish history doesn't match: Jews moved with Europeans (e.g., South Africa, South America), weren't targeted for mass enslavement like Israelites. Under Islamic rule, dhimmi laws protected them. No "yoke of iron" or global scattering into slavery for Jews.

Roman destruction in 70 AD and Holocaust don't fulfill these curses—study Jewish history; it doesn't align.

Why Churches Hide This: Eurocentric Deception

Most churches preach Eurocentric Christianity: Sunday worship (ignoring Sabbath), Christmas (ignoring YHWH's feasts), temple rejection. Yet they claim to follow Messiah?

I was an assistant pastor in a Black church. I preached white Jesus countless times—no issue. But once I depicted baby Yeshua, Mary, and Joseph as Black (per scriptures), people got upset. Even Black churches have inherent anti-Black bias. Renew your mind (Romans 12:2).
