The Book That Reveals the True Origin of Jews

Jews are not from Israel, and there is a book in the Bible that tells us exactly where they came from. The book that shows where Jews came from is the Book of Esther. Jews are not Israelites; they are Gentiles who adopted the identity and practices of the people of Judah after they were scattered in Babylon and Persia.

What the Book of Esther Reveals

I recommend reading the whole Book of Esther. It describes a time when a whole group of Gentiles started calling themselves Judeans (Yehudim in Hebrew). The word "Jews" is not in the original Bible text; it's Judeans.

"And in every province and in every city, wherever the king's command and his edict reached, there was gladness and joy among the Judeans, a feast and a holiday. And many from the peoples of the country declared themselves Judeans, for the fear of the Judeans had fallen on them." (Esther 8:17)[1]

These were Gentiles calling themselves Judeans out of fear, especially after Haman plotted to kill all the Judeans scattered in Babylon. YHWH intervened, and many people feared and took on the identity and practices of the true Judeans. This is the origin of modern-day Jews—Gentiles all over Persia declaring themselves Judeans when they were not.

Confirmation from Jewish Sources

Even Jewish publications acknowledge this distinction. The Jewish Almanac (1980) states:

"Strictly speaking, it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a Jew, or to call a contemporary Jew an Israelite or a Hebrew."

This is from the very first chapter of a book celebrating Jewish life and people—written by Jews themselves, not an anti-Jewish source. If you Google "Jews" today, contemporary Jews are not Israelites. Being Jewish involves conversion to Judaism, nothing to do with descent from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Anyone can become Jewish by finding a rabbi and taking a Judaism course, but they are not Israelites.

Yeshua's Words in Revelation

The Lord Yeshua confirms this in the New Testament:

"I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the slander of those who say they are Judeans and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan." (Revelation 2:9)

"Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Judeans and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet..." (Revelation 3:9)

Synagogues originate from Judaism; YHWH never commanded building synagogues. Yeshua echoes Esther 500 years later: people declaring themselves Judeans but not truly being so. You cannot become a Judean by mere claim. A true Judean is a descendant of Jacob through Judah or an Israelite in Judah's territory.

This truth is detailed in my book, Scattered Israelites: Why Jews Are Not Israelites.

Jews Fail to Fulfill Israel's Prophecies

We know Jews are not Israelites because they do not fulfill Israel's prophecies. This is not hate speech—it's what the Bible says. Jewish history does not match Israelite history or prophecies.

Failed Prophecy 1: Return After Repentance

YHWH states Israelites return only after repentance:

"And when all these things come upon you... and you return to YHWH your God... then YHWH your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and He will gather you again from all the peoples where YHWH your God has scattered you... Even if your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there YHWH your God will gather you." (Deuteronomy 30:1-4)

Jews never repented before migrating to the Promised Land. Check any Jewish history book—no record of national repentance to YHWH. They returned over centuries, peaking in 1948, without repentance.

Failed Prophecy 2: Seeing YHWH in the Wilderness

True Israelites must see YHWH in the wilderness before entering the land:

"As I live, declares the Lord YHWH, surely with a mighty hand... I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you... And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face... I will make you pass under the rod, and bring you into the bond of the covenant. I will purge out the rebels... Then you shall know that I am YHWH." (Ezekiel 20:33-38)

No man sees God and lives, but Yeshua is the image of the invisible God. Israelites enter the new covenant (like the Exodus). Jewish history has no such wilderness encounter or purging—proving they are Gentiles who adopted the identity, including converts to Judaism.

Conclusion from Scripture

The Bible traces modern Jews to Esther's Gentiles who declared themselves Judeans. They build synagogues, convert others, and fail prophecies because they are not descendants of Jacob. True Israelites will fulfill every word.
