How YHWH Speaks Through Dreams and Visions

One of the primary ways YHWH speaks to His people—and sometimes even to others—is through dreams and visions. This is evident throughout the Scriptures. For instance, YHWH gave dreams to Pharaoh (Genesis 41) and Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2, 4), showing He communicates beyond His covenant people when it serves His purposes.

To understand these revelations, we must stay close to YHWH and His Word. Prayer is essential, and sometimes seeking wise counsel from a reputable brother or sister can help discern the meaning.

Scriptural Examples of Visions and Dreams

The prophets received direct visions from YHWH:
- Isaiah 1:1: "The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem..." The entire book of Isaiah records visions YHWH gave him.
- Ezekiel 1:1: "In the thirtieth year... as I was among the exiles by the Chebar canal, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God."

YHWH explicitly states how He reveals Himself: Numbers 12:6 - "Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I YHWH make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream."

Dreams are often called visions of the night:
- Job 33:15: "In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men..."
- Job 20:8: "He will fly away like a dream and not be found; he will be chased away like a vision of the night."
- Isaiah 29:7-8: Nations fighting against Ariel (Jerusalem) will be "like a dream, a vision of the night."

Daniel 1:17 highlights: "...God gave them learning and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams."

Not all dreams are from YHWH—some stem from physical needs like hunger (as implied in Job)—but as believers, we must pay attention, especially recurring ones.

Personal Experiences with Dreams and Visions

I have received numerous dreams and visions from YHWH, many right here in this bedroom during sleep. At first, I mistook some for demonic attacks, but they were warnings about issues in the church I attended, including manipulative leadership—not fruits of the Spirit, but satanic control.

Visions often occur when falling asleep: the room darkens eerily, and scenes unfold. I've seen the future, like relationships that wouldn't last, and received warnings, such as after a marriage talk.

Prophets are simply messengers from YHWH, not elevated titles. These revelations confirm His ongoing communication with His people.

A Brother's Confirming Vision

A reputable brother from Kenya, Victor, shared this vision on July 3rd while praying for me: "Shalom. We were praying for you with the kids and I saw a vision. I saw a bright light coming from you and it was shining to the whole of Africa... In the vision you kept saying 'we are the chosen generation. We are the true children of YHWH. We are elect and set apart.'"

I hadn't shared details of my ministry with him. YHWH revealed it directly! I responded:

Well indeed it's true. Your vision is true and accurate. YHWH has given me revelations for our people in Africa and those around the world. It started 22 years ago when He told me, 'I will bless you far above your brethren, and out of thy right hand shall many mouths be fed.' The blessings far above your brethren are the revelations He has given me for the repentance and restoration of our people. We are Israelites—the very people of the Scriptures.

YHWH instructed me to write a book, completed on Shavuot (June 8th), aligning with when Israel received the Torah (Exodus 19-24). A few years ago, He said, "A light in Carnegie"—where I live and wrote the book. We are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).

The book, Scattered Israelites: The True History and Future of God's Chosen People—Why the Bantu, West Africans and Their Diaspora are the Israelites of the Bible, ties Africa's suffering to Israel's curses (Deuteronomy 28). Divided into eight volumes, it's ready for release in August. Videos will share these teachings freely.

This vision confirms the work—no secret sins can hide from YHWH. I pray YHWH gives visions to others in Africa and beyond for Israel's repentance.

Discerning Dreams and Visions from YHWH

To understand YHWH's dreams and visions:
- Be intimate with YHWH through daily prayer and Scripture study to discern good from evil.
- Test against the Word; manipulative 'churches' produce demonic visions.
- Pray for revelation; seek confirmation from reputable believers.

YHWH still speaks today. Pay attention to your dreams—they may hold keys to His purpose for the Scattered Israelites.
