Why True Israel Must Confess Their Sins

We, the true Israelites, must confess our sins. We are not Jews, and Jews are not Israelites. I covered this in a recent video on the origin of Jews, showing from Scripture where Gentiles adopted the identity and practices of the people of Judah after their scattering in Babylon and Persia.

Jews as Gentiles Adopting Judean Identity

The Book of Esther explains this clearly. Esther 8:17 states: "And in every province and in every city, wherever the king's command and his edict reached, there was gladness and joy among the Jews [Judeans], a feast and a holiday. And many from the peoples of the country declared themselves Judeans, for fear of the Judeans had fallen on them."

These were Gentiles calling themselves Judeans when they were not. Five hundred years later, Yeshua addressed the same issue: people claiming to be from Judah when they are not. See Revelation 2:9 and 3:9, where it speaks of those "who say they are Judeans and are not."

Esther dates to around 473 BC, while John wrote Revelation around AD 95—over 500 years apart, yet describing the same deception. These practices evolved into what we call Judaism today. Converts to Judaism were called Judeans, translated as "Jews" in English Bibles.

A Judean is either a descendant of Judah (one of Jacob's sons) or an Israelite living in Judah's territory. But anyone converting to Judaism? No, that's false. Being Jewish ties to Judaism, not descent from Jacob. Anyone can convert to Judaism today—it's a religion, not Israelite bloodline.

True Israel vs. the Jewish State

When I say "Israel must confess sins," I mean true Israel—not the State of Israel. That state, its flag, and its people are not Israelites. Jewish people are not Israelites.

The modern State of Israel stems from the 19th-century Zionist movement, a desire for a Jewish homeland. Zionism is not biblical—it's satanic, not of God, but evil.

History confirms: After World War I, the League of Nations gave Britain the Mandate for Palestine. In 1947, the UN partitioned it into Arab and Jewish states. In 1948, Jews declared independence, followed by the Arab-Israeli War. Since then, constant conflicts with Arab neighbors and Palestinians prove it's not biblical Israel.

The Bible describes true Israel's return in Ezekiel 39:25-28: "Therefore, thus says the Lord YHWH: 'Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel... They shall forget their shame... when they dwell securely in their land, with none to make them afraid.' ... I will bring them back... **I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore."

Today's Israel dwells in fear, relying on military tech and U.S. support—not security. Jews remain scattered worldwide, unlike the prophecy. This state is satanic deception; Gentiles and Edomites claim Israel's land, but wars show it's not theirs. YHWH gives time to repent, but destruction awaits the unrepentant.

The Path of Repentance for True Israel

True Israel must repent and confess sins for YHWH to regather us. Leviticus 26:40-42 commands: "But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in their treachery that they committed against me... If then their uncircumcised heart is humbled and they make amends for their iniquity, then I will remember my covenant with Jacob..."

This scattering happened because we walked contrary to YHWH. Confession humbles the heart, remembering the covenants with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Deuteronomy 30:1-2 echoes: "When all these things... the blessing and the curse... come upon you... and you call them to mind among the nations where YHWH your God has driven you, and return to YHWH your God, you and your children, and obey His voice... with all your heart and with all your soul."

Daniel modeled this in Daniel 9. Reading Jeremiah's prophecy of 70 years captivity (Jeremiah 29), Daniel confessed: "In the first year of Darius... I, Daniel, perceived in the books the number of years... Then I turned my face..."

It's About Repentance, Not Just Identity

As Israelites scattered among nations, confess your iniquity and your fathers'. It's not merely identity—it's repentance to be born again. YHWH scatters for sin but restores the humble heart.
