was strengthened Solomon son of David over his kingdom and YHWH his God was with him and exalted him exceedingly

1 וַ/יִּתְחַזֵּ֛ק 𐤅/𐤉𐤕𐤇𐤆𐤒 vayitechazeq was strengthened HC/Vtw3ms שְׁלֹמֹ֥ה 𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 shelomoh Solomon HNp בֶן 𐤁𐤍 ven Bene (Bemba) son HNcmsc דָּוִ֖יד 𐤃𐤅𐤉𐤃 david of David HNp עַל 𐤏𐤋 al over HR מַלְכוּת֑/וֹ 𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤅𐤕/𐤅 malekhuto his kingdom HNcfsc/Sp3ms וַ/יהוָ֤ה 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 vayhvah Nyambe (Lozi) and YHWH HC/Np אֱלֹהָי/ו֙ 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉/𐤅 elohayv Mulimu (Lozi) his God HNcmpc/Sp3ms עִמּ֔/וֹ 𐤏𐤌/𐤅 imo was with him HR/Sp3ms וַֽ/יְגַדְּלֵ֖/הוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤂𐤃𐤋/𐤄𐤅 vayegadelehu and exalted him HC/Vpw3ms/Sp3ms לְ/מָֽעְלָ/ה 𐤋/𐤌𐤏𐤋/𐤄 lemaelah exceedingly HR/D/Sd

Then Solomon said Solomon to all Israel to the commanders of the thousands and the hundreds and to the judges and to every leader in all Israel the heads of the fathers

2 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer Then Solomon said HC/Vqw3ms שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה 𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 shelomoh Solomon HNp לְ/כָל 𐤋/𐤊𐤋 lekhal to all HR/Ncmsc יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp לְ/שָׂרֵי֩ 𐤋/𐤔𐤓𐤉 lesarey to the commanders of HR/Ncmpc הָ/אֲלָפִ֨ים 𐤄/𐤀𐤋𐤐𐤉𐤌 haalafim the thousands HTd/Acbpa וְ/הַ/מֵּא֜וֹת 𐤅/𐤄/𐤌𐤀𐤅𐤕 vehameot and the hundreds HC/Td/Acbpa וְ/לַ/שֹּֽׁפְטִ֗ים 𐤅/𐤋/𐤔𐤐𐤈𐤉𐤌 velashofetim and to the judges HC/Rd/Vqrmpa וּ/לְ/כֹ֛ל 𐤅/𐤋/𐤊𐤋 ulekhol and to every HC/R/Ncmsc נָשִׂ֥יא 𐤍𐤔𐤉𐤀 nasi leader HNcmsa לְ/כָל 𐤋/𐤊𐤋 lekhal-2 in all HR/Ncmsc יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael-2 Israel HNp רָאשֵׁ֥י 𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤉 rashey the heads of HNcmpc הָ/אָבֽוֹת 𐤄/𐤀𐤁𐤅𐤕 haavot the fathers HTd/Ncmpa

and they went Solomon and all the assembly with him to the high place which at Gibeon for there was tent of meeting of God which had made Moses servant of YHWH in the wilderness

3 וַ/יֵּלְכ֗וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤋𐤊𐤅 vayelekhu and they went HC/Vqw3mp שְׁלֹמֹה֙ 𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 shelomoh Solomon HNp וְ/כָל 𐤅/𐤊𐤋 vekhal and all HC/Ncmsc הַ/קָּהָ֣ל 𐤄/𐤒𐤄𐤋 haqahal the assembly HTd/Ncmsa עִמּ֔/וֹ 𐤏𐤌/𐤅 imo with him HR/Sp3ms לַ/בָּמָ֖ה 𐤋/𐤁𐤌𐤄 labamah to the high place HRd/Ncfsa אֲשֶׁ֣ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr בְּ/גִבְע֑וֹן 𐤁/𐤂𐤁𐤏𐤅𐤍 begiveon at Gibeon HR/Np כִּי 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC שָׁ֣ם 𐤔𐤌 sham there HD הָיָ֗ה 𐤄𐤉𐤄 hayah was HVqp3ms אֹ֤הֶל 𐤀𐤄𐤋 ohel tent HNcmsc מוֹעֵד֙ 𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃 moed of meeting HNcmsc הָֽ/אֱלֹהִ֔ים 𐤄/𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 haelohim Mulimu (Lozi) of God HTd/Ncmpa אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher-2 which HTr עָשָׂ֛ה 𐤏𐤔𐤄 asah had made HVqp3ms מֹשֶׁ֥ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp עֶֽבֶד 𐤏𐤁𐤃 eved servant HNcmsc יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) of YHWH HNp בַּ/מִּדְבָּֽר 𐤁/𐤌𐤃𐤁𐤓 bamidebar in the wilderness HRd/Ncmsa

however ark of God had brought up David from Kiriath Jearim when he prepared for it David because had pitched for it a tent in Jerusalem

4 אֲבָ֗ל 𐤀𐤁𐤋 aval however HD אֲר֤וֹן 𐤀𐤓𐤅𐤍 aron ark HNcbsc הָ/אֱלֹהִים֙ 𐤄/𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 haelohim Mulimu (Lozi) of God HTd/Ncmpa הֶעֱלָ֤ה 𐤄𐤏𐤋𐤄 heelah had brought up HVhp3ms דָוִיד֙ 𐤃𐤅𐤉𐤃 david David HNp מִ/קִּרְיַ֣ת 𐤌/𐤒𐤓𐤉𐤕 miqireyat from Kiriath HR/Np יְעָרִ֔ים 𐤉𐤏𐤓𐤉𐤌 yearim Jearim HNp בַּֽ/הֵכִ֥ין 𐤁/𐤄𐤊𐤉𐤍 bahekhin when he prepared HRd/Vhp3ms ל֖/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo for it HR/Sp3ms דָּוִ֑יד 𐤃𐤅𐤉𐤃 david-2 David HNp כִּ֧י 𐤊𐤉 ki because HC נָֽטָה 𐤍𐤈𐤄 natah had pitched HVqp3ms ל֛/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo-2 for it HR/Sp3ms אֹ֖הֶל 𐤀𐤄𐤋 ohel a tent HNcmsa בִּ/ירוּשָׁלִָֽם 𐤁/𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌 birushalaim in Jerusalem HR/Np

and-the-altar the-bronze which made Bezalel son-of Uri son-of Hur was-there before tabernacle YHWH and-they-inquired-of-it Solomon and-the-assembly

5 וּ/מִזְבַּ֣ח 𐤅/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 umizebach and-the-altar HC/Ncmsc הַ/נְּחֹ֗שֶׁת 𐤄/𐤍𐤇𐤔𐤕 hanechoshet the-bronze HTd/Ncfsa אֲשֶׁ֤ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr עָשָׂה֙ 𐤏𐤔𐤄 asah made HVqp3ms בְּצַלְאֵל֙ 𐤁𐤑𐤋𐤀𐤋 betsaleel Bezalel HNp בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) son-of HNcmsc אוּרִ֣י 𐤀𐤅𐤓𐤉 uri Uri HNp בֶן 𐤁𐤍 ven Bene (Bemba) son-of HNcmsc ח֔וּר 𐤇𐤅𐤓 chur Hur HNp שָׂ֕ם 𐤔𐤌 sam was-there HVqp3ms לִ/פְנֵ֖י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc מִשְׁכַּ֣ן 𐤌𐤔𐤊𐤍 mishekan tabernacle HNcmsc יְהוָ֑ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp וַ/יִּדְרְשֵׁ֥/הוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤃𐤓𐤔/𐤄𐤅 vayidereshehu and-they-inquired-of-it HC/Vqw3ms/Sp3ms שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה 𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 shelomoh Solomon HNp וְ/הַ/קָּהָֽל 𐤅/𐤄/𐤒𐤄𐤋 vehaqahal and-the-assembly HC/Td/Ncmsa

and Solomon went up Solomon there to the altar bronze before YHWH which at the tent of meeting and he offered on it burnt offerings a thousand

6 וַ/יַּעַל֩ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤋 vayaal and Solomon went up HC/Vhw3ms שְׁלֹמֹ֨ה 𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 shelomoh Solomon HNp שָׁ֜ם 𐤔𐤌 sham there HD עַל 𐤏𐤋 al to HR מִזְבַּ֤ח 𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 mizebach the altar HNcmsc הַ/נְּחֹ֨שֶׁת֙ 𐤄/𐤍𐤇𐤔𐤕 hanechoshet bronze HTd/Ncfsa לִ/פְנֵ֣י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc יְהוָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֲשֶׁ֖ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr לְ/אֹ֣הֶל 𐤋/𐤀𐤄𐤋 leohel at the tent HR/Ncmsc מוֹעֵ֑ד 𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃 moed of meeting HNcmsa וַ/יַּ֧עַל 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤋 vayaal-2 and he offered HC/Vhw3ms עָלָ֛י/ו 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤅 alayv on it HR/Sp3ms עֹל֖וֹת 𐤏𐤋𐤅𐤕 olot burnt offerings HNcfpa אָֽלֶף 𐤀𐤋𐤐 alef a thousand HAcbsa

in that night that appeared God to Solomon and said to him Ask what I shall give to you

7 בַּ/לַּ֣יְלָה 𐤁/𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄 balayelah in that night HRd/Ncmsa הַ/ה֔וּא 𐤄/𐤄𐤅𐤀 hahu that HTd/Pp3ms נִרְאָ֥ה 𐤍𐤓𐤀𐤄 nireah appeared HVNp3ms אֱלֹהִ֖ים 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 elohim Mulimu (Lozi) God HNcmpa לִ/שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה 𐤋/𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 lishelomoh to Solomon HR/Np וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms ל֔/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo to him HR/Sp3ms שְׁאַ֖ל 𐤔𐤀𐤋 sheal Ask HVqv2ms מָ֥ה 𐤌𐤄 mah what HTi אֶתֶּן 𐤀𐤕𐤍 eten I shall give HVqi1cs לָֽ/ךְ 𐤋/𐤊 lakhe to you HR/Sp2fs

And he said Solomon to God You have done with David my father lovingkindness great and have made me king in his place

8 וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And he said HC/Vqw3ms שְׁלֹמֹה֙ 𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 shelomoh Solomon HNp לֵֽ/אלֹהִ֔ים 𐤋/𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 lelohim Mulimu (Lozi) to God HR/Ncmpa אַתָּ֗ה 𐤀𐤕𐤄 atah You HPp2ms עָשִׂ֛יתָ 𐤏𐤔𐤉𐤕 asita have done HVqp2ms עִם 𐤏𐤌 im with HR דָּוִ֥יד 𐤃𐤅𐤉𐤃 david David HNp אָבִ֖/י 𐤀𐤁/𐤉 avi my father HNcmsc/Sp1cs חֶ֣סֶד 𐤇𐤎𐤃 chesed lovingkindness HNcmsa גָּד֑וֹל 𐤂𐤃𐤅𐤋 gadol great HAamsa וְ/הִמְלַכְתַּ֖/נִי 𐤅/𐤄𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤕/𐤍𐤉 vehimelakhetani and have made me king HC/Vhp2ms/Sp1cs תַּחְתָּֽי/ו 𐤕𐤇𐤕𐤉/𐤅 tachetayv in his place HR/Sp3ms

Now YHWH God let be established your word/promise to/with David my father for you have made me king over a people numerous like dust of the earth

9 עַתָּה֙ 𐤏𐤕𐤄 atah Now HD יְהוָ֣ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֱלֹהִ֔ים 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 elohim Mulimu (Lozi) God HNcmpa יֵֽאָמֵן֙ 𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤍 yeamen let be established HVNj3ms דְּבָ֣רְ/ךָ֔ 𐤃𐤁𐤓/𐤊 devarekha your word/promise HNcmsc/Sp2ms עִ֖ם 𐤏𐤌 im to/with HR דָּוִ֣יד 𐤃𐤅𐤉𐤃 david David HNp אָבִ֑/י 𐤀𐤁/𐤉 avi my father HNcmsc/Sp1cs כִּ֤י 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC אַתָּה֙ 𐤀𐤕𐤄 atah-2 you HPp2ms הִמְלַכְתַּ֔/נִי 𐤄𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤕/𐤍𐤉 himelakhetani have made me king HVhp2ms/Sp1cs עַל 𐤏𐤋 al over HR עַ֕ם 𐤏𐤌 am a people HNcmsa רַ֖ב 𐤓𐤁 rav numerous HAamsa כַּ/עֲפַ֥ר 𐤊/𐤏𐤐𐤓 kaafar like dust HR/Ncmsc הָ/אָֽרֶץ 𐤄/𐤀𐤓𐤑 haarets of the earth HTd/Ncbsa

now wisdom and knowledge give to me and I may go out before the people this and come in for who can judge [direct object marker] your people this that is so great

10 עַתָּ֗ה 𐤏𐤕𐤄 atah now HD חָכְמָ֤ה 𐤇𐤊𐤌𐤄 chakhemah wisdom HNcfsa וּ/מַדָּע֙ 𐤅/𐤌𐤃𐤏 umada and knowledge HC/Ncmsa תֶּן 𐤕𐤍 ten give HVqv2ms לִ֔/י 𐤋/𐤉 li to me HR/Sp1cs וְ/אֵֽצְאָ֛ה 𐤅/𐤀𐤑𐤀𐤄 veetseah and I may go out HC/Vqh1cs לִ/פְנֵ֥י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc הָֽ/עָם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa הַ/זֶּ֖ה 𐤄/𐤆𐤄 hazeh this HTd/Pdxms וְ/אָב֑וֹאָה 𐤅/𐤀𐤁𐤅𐤀𐤄 veavoah and come in HC/Vqh1cs כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC מִ֣י 𐤌𐤉 mi who HTi יִשְׁפֹּ֔ט 𐤉𐤔𐤐𐤈 yishepot can judge HVqi3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo עַמְּ/ךָ֥ 𐤏𐤌/𐤊 amekha your people HNcmsc/Sp2ms הַ/זֶּ֖ה 𐤄/𐤆𐤄 hazeh-2 this HTd/Pdxms הַ/גָּדֽוֹל 𐤄/𐤂𐤃𐤅𐤋 hagadol that is so great HTd/Aamsa

and said God to Solomon because that it was this with your heart and not you asked riches wealth or glory or life of your enemies nor yet days many not you asked but you asked for yourself wisdom and knowledge that you may judge - my people over whom I have made you king over it

11 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms אֱלֹהִ֣ים 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 elohim Mulimu (Lozi) God HNcmpa לִ/שְׁלֹמֹ֡ה 𐤋/𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 lishelomoh to Solomon HR/Np יַ֣עַן 𐤉𐤏𐤍 yaan because HC אֲשֶׁר֩ 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr הָיְתָ֨ה 𐤄𐤉𐤕𐤄 hayetah it was HVqp3fs זֹ֜את 𐤆𐤀𐤕 zot this HPdxfs עִם 𐤏𐤌 im with HR לְבָבֶ֗/ךָ 𐤋𐤁𐤁/𐤊 levavekha your heart HNcmsc/Sp2ms וְ/לֹֽא 𐤅/𐤋𐤀 velo and not HC/Tn שָׁ֠אַלְתָּ 𐤔𐤀𐤋𐤕 shaaleta you asked HVqp2ms עֹ֣שֶׁר 𐤏𐤔𐤓 osher riches HNcmsa נְכָסִ֤ים 𐤍𐤊𐤎𐤉𐤌 nekhasim wealth HNcmpa וְ/כָבוֹד֙ 𐤅/𐤊𐤁𐤅𐤃 vekhavod or glory HC/Ncbsa וְ/אֵת֙ 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet or HC/To נֶ֣פֶשׁ 𐤍𐤐𐤔 nefesh life HNcbsc שֹׂנְאֶ֔י/ךָ 𐤔𐤍𐤀𐤉/𐤊 soneeykha of your enemies HVqrmpc/Sp2ms וְ/גַם 𐤅/𐤂𐤌 vegam nor yet HC/Ta יָמִ֥ים 𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 yamim days HNcmpa רַבִּ֖ים 𐤓𐤁𐤉𐤌 rabim many HAampa לֹ֣א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn שָׁאָ֑לְתָּ 𐤔𐤀𐤋𐤕 shaaleta-2 you asked HVqp2ms וַ/תִּֽשְׁאַל 𐤅/𐤕𐤔𐤀𐤋 vatisheal but you asked HC/Vqw2ms לְ/ךָ֙ 𐤋/𐤊 lekha for yourself HR/Sp2ms חָכְמָ֣ה 𐤇𐤊𐤌𐤄 chakhemah wisdom HNcfsa וּ/מַדָּ֔ע 𐤅/𐤌𐤃𐤏 umada and knowledge HC/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁ֤ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher-2 that HTr תִּשְׁפּוֹט֙ 𐤕𐤔𐤐𐤅𐤈 tishepot you may judge HVqi2ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et - HTo עַמִּ֔/י 𐤏𐤌/𐤉 ami my people HNcmsc/Sp1cs אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher-3 over whom HTr הִמְלַכְתִּ֖י/ךָ 𐤄𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤕𐤉/𐤊 himelakhetikha I have made you king HVhp1cs/Sp2ms עָלָֽי/ו 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤅 alayv over it HR/Sp3ms

the wisdom and the knowledge is granted to you and riches and possessions and honor I will give to you such as not has been like to kings who before you and after you not shall be like

12 הַֽ/חָכְמָ֥ה 𐤄/𐤇𐤊𐤌𐤄 hachakhemah the wisdom HTd/Ncfsa וְ/הַ/מַּדָּ֖ע 𐤅/𐤄/𐤌𐤃𐤏 vehamada and the knowledge HC/Td/Ncmsa נָת֣וּן 𐤍𐤕𐤅𐤍 natun is granted HVqsmsa לָ֑/ךְ 𐤋/𐤊 lakhe to you HR/Sp2fs וְ/עֹ֨שֶׁר 𐤅/𐤏𐤔𐤓 veosher and riches HC/Ncmsa וּ/נְכָסִ֤ים 𐤅/𐤍𐤊𐤎𐤉𐤌 unekhasim and possessions HC/Ncmpa וְ/כָבוֹד֙ 𐤅/𐤊𐤁𐤅𐤃 vekhavod and honor HC/Ncbsa אֶתֶּן 𐤀𐤕𐤍 eten I will give HVqi1cs לָ֔/ךְ 𐤋/𐤊 lakhe-2 to you HR/Sp2fs אֲשֶׁ֣ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher such as HTr לֹא 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn הָ֣יָה 𐤄𐤉𐤄 hayah has been HVqp3ms כֵ֗ן 𐤊𐤍 khen like HD לַ/מְּלָכִים֙ 𐤋/𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤉𐤌 lamelakhim to kings HRd/Ncmpa אֲשֶׁ֣ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher-2 who HTr לְ/פָנֶ֔י/ךָ 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉/𐤊 lefaneykha before you HR/Ncbpc/Sp2ms וְ/אַחֲרֶ֖י/ךָ 𐤅/𐤀𐤇𐤓𐤉/𐤊 veachareykha and after you HC/R/Sp2ms לֹ֥א 𐤋𐤀 lo-2 not HTn יִֽהְיֶה 𐤉𐤄𐤉𐤄 yiheyeh shall be HVqi3ms כֵּֽן 𐤊𐤍 ken like HTm

Then came Solomon to the high place that at Gibeon to Jerusalem from before the tent of meeting and reigned over Israel

13 וַ/יָּבֹ֨א 𐤅/𐤉𐤁𐤀 vayavo Then came HC/Vqw3ms שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה 𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄 shelomoh Solomon HNp לַ/בָּמָ֤ה 𐤋/𐤁𐤌𐤄 labamah to the high place HRd/Ncfsa אֲשֶׁר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr בְּ/גִבְעוֹן֙ 𐤁/𐤂𐤁𐤏𐤅𐤍 begiveon at Gibeon HR/Np יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם 𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌 yerushalaim to Jerusalem HNp מִ/לִּ/פְנֵ֖י 𐤌/𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 milifeney from before HR/R/Ncbpc אֹ֣הֶל 𐤀𐤄𐤋 ohel the tent HNcmsc מוֹעֵ֑ד 𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃 moed of meeting HNcmsa וַ/יִּמְלֹ֖ךְ 𐤅/𐤉𐤌𐤋𐤊 vayimelokhe and reigned HC/Vqw3ms עַל 𐤏𐤋 al over HR יִשְׂרָאֵֽל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp

and gathered Solomon chariots and horsemen and he had to him a thousand and four hundred chariots and two ten thousand horsemen and he stationed them in cities of the chariots and with the king in Jerusalem
