Psalms 20

Psalm 20 is a royal prayer in which the assembled people of Israel intercede for King David before he goes into battle, asking YHWH to grant him victory and fulfill his desires.[1][2] David then expresses his confidence that YHWH saves His anointed one and will answer from His holy heaven with saving strength, contrasting trust in God with reliance on worldly military power like chariots and horses.[1][2]

Now you I know I knew that for/because he will save he delivered to safety the LORD Yahweh Yahweh his anointed his anointed one will answer him he will respond to him from heaven from the lofty-heavens of of his holy [place] his holiness with mighty deeds in mighty-deeds of salvation deliverance of his right hand his right hand

These these ones in chariots chariot and these and these in horses horses but we and we in the name in name of of the LORD Yahweh Yahweh our God our mighty ones will remember we will cause to be remembered

They they have bowed down they knelt and fallen and they fell but we and we have risen we rose up and stand upright and we solemnly reaffirmed ourselves
