Zephaniah 3

YHWH pronounces woe on rebellious Jerusalem for its corruption, oppression, and failure to heed correction despite his daily justice, but promises to remove the proud and leave a humble remnant who trust in the name of YHWH and live righteously.[1][3][4][7] He vows to restore pure speech to the nations, gather the dispersed, reverse their fortunes, and rejoice over Zion with singing, quieting her with his love as a mighty savior.[3][4][7]
