Jeremiah 14

Jeremiah receives a word from YHWH concerning a severe drought afflicting Judah, causing mourning, empty cisterns, parched ground, and distress for people and animals[1][2][3][5]. YHWH rejects Jeremiah's intercessory prayers due to the people's unrepentant wandering and sins, declaring judgment by sword, famine, and pestilence despite their fasting[1][3][4].

when for (as reason or ground) they fast they cover the mouth in fasting I will not I am not hear a hearing one to toward their cry their ringing-cry and when and if they offer up they will ascend burnt offering ascent-offering and grain offering and a gift-offering I will not I am not accept them one who takes pleasure in them rather for (as reason or ground) by the sword by the desolating blade and by famine and in the hunger-famine and by pestilence and by the destroying pestilence I I myself will consume one who brings-to-an-end them these same ones (m.p.)

Then I said and I said Ah Ah! (alas!) Lord my Lords YHWH He-Is behold Look! the prophets the inspired spokesmen are saying causing-to-say-ones to them — not not you will see you (masculine plural) will see / may you (masculine plural) see sword a desolating blade and famine and famine-hunger not not will be he will be for you — for for (as reason or ground) peace wholeness assured firm faithfulness I will give I will give to you — in the place in the standing-place this this (masculine singular one)

Therefore for this established reason thus like-this says he has caused-to-say YHWH the Being One concerning upon (up-over) the prophets the inspired spokesmen who prophesy the prophesying men in my name in my name and I and I myself not not I sent them I have sent them forth and they and they themselves say causing-to-say-ones sword a desolating blade and famine and famine-hunger not not will be he will be in the land in the firm land this this (feminine singular) by sword by the desolating blade and by famine and in the hunger-famine they will be consumed they will come to completion the prophets the inspired spokesmen those they themselves (masculine plural)

And the people and the united people to whom that-which they they themselves (masculine plural) are prophesying the ones speaking by inspiration to them — shall be they shall come-to-be thrown out cast-out ones in the streets in the outside-places of of Jerusalem Founded-in-Peace (Dual City) because of from-the-faces-of the famine the hunger and the sword and the desolating sword and there is no and there-is-not one to bury the burying one them they themselves them, they themselves (masculine plural) their wives their women and their sons and their sons and their daughters and their daughters and I will pour out and I will pour out upon them upon them - (definite object-marker) their evil their evil
