Zechariah 4

and returned the angel who was speaking with me and roused me as a man who is awakened from his sleep

1 וַ/יָּ֕שָׁב 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤁 vayashav and returned HC/Vqw3ms הַ/מַּלְאָ֖ךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤊 hamaleakhe the angel HTd/Ncmsa הַ/דֹּבֵ֣ר 𐤄/𐤃𐤁𐤓 hadover who was speaking HTd/Vqrmsa בִּ֑/י 𐤁/𐤉 bi with me HR/Sp1cs וַ/יְעִירֵ֕/נִי 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤉𐤓/𐤍𐤉 vayeireni and roused me HC/Vhw3ms/Sp1cs כְּ/אִ֖ישׁ 𐤊/𐤀𐤉𐤔 keish as a man HR/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher who HTr יֵע֥וֹר 𐤉𐤏𐤅𐤓 yeor is awakened HVNi3ms מִ/שְּׁנָתֽ/וֹ 𐤌/𐤔𐤍𐤕/𐤅 mishenato from his sleep HR/Ncfsc/Sp3ms

and he said to me what you see and he said and I said I have seen and behold lampstand of gold all of it with its bowl on top of it and seven lamps of it on it seven and seven pipes to the lamps which on top of it

2 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and he said HC/Vqw3ms אֵלַ֔/י 𐤀𐤋/𐤉 elay to me HR/Sp1cs מָ֥ה 𐤌𐤄 mah what HTi אַתָּ֖ה 𐤀𐤕𐤄 atah you HPp2ms רֹאֶ֑ה 𐤓𐤀𐤄 roeh see HVqrmsa ו/יאמר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vymr and he said HC/Vqw3ms וָ/אֹמַ֡ר 𐤅/𐤀𐤌𐤓 vaomar and I said HC/Vqw1cs רָאִ֣יתִי 𐤓𐤀𐤉𐤕𐤉 raiti I have seen HVqp1cs וְ/הִנֵּ֣ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤄 vehineh and behold HC/Tm מְנוֹרַת֩ 𐤌𐤍𐤅𐤓𐤕 menorat lampstand HNcfsc זָהָ֨ב 𐤆𐤄𐤁 zahav of gold HNcmsa כֻּלָּ֜/הּ 𐤊𐤋/𐤄 kulah all of it HNcmsc/Sp3fs וְ/גֻלָּ֣הּ 𐤅/𐤂𐤋𐤄 vegulah with its bowl HC/Ncfsa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR רֹאשָׁ֗/הּ 𐤓𐤀𐤔/𐤄 roshah top of it HNcmsc/Sp3fs וְ/שִׁבְעָ֤ה 𐤅/𐤔𐤁𐤏𐤄 veshiveah and seven HC/Acmsa נֵרֹתֶ֨י/הָ֙ 𐤍𐤓𐤕𐤉/𐤄 neroteyha lamps of it HNcmpc/Sp3fs עָלֶ֔י/הָ 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄 aleyha on it HR/Sp3fs שִׁבְעָ֤ה 𐤔𐤁𐤏𐤄 shiveah seven HAcmsa וְ/שִׁבְעָה֙ 𐤅/𐤔𐤁𐤏𐤄 veshiveah-2 and seven HC/Acmsa מֽוּצָק֔וֹת 𐤌𐤅𐤑𐤒𐤅𐤕 mutsaqot pipes HNcfpa לַ/נֵּר֖וֹת 𐤋/𐤍𐤓𐤅𐤕 lanerot to the lamps HRd/Ncmpa אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr עַל 𐤏𐤋 al-2 on HR רֹאשָֽׁ/הּ 𐤓𐤀𐤔/𐤄 roshah-2 top of it HNcmsc/Sp3fs

and two olive trees by it one on the right of the bowl and one on its left

3 וּ/שְׁנַ֥יִם 𐤅/𐤔𐤍𐤉𐤌 ushenayim and two HC/Acmda זֵיתִ֖ים 𐤆𐤉𐤕𐤉𐤌 zeytim olive trees HNcmpa עָלֶ֑י/הָ 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄 aleyha by it HR/Sp3fs אֶחָד֙ 𐤀𐤇𐤃 echad Eka (Bemba) one HAcmsa מִ/ימִ֣ין 𐤌/𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤍 mimin on the right HR/Ncfsc הַ/גֻּלָּ֔ה 𐤄/𐤂𐤋𐤄 hagulah of the bowl HTd/Ncfsa וְ/אֶחָ֖ד 𐤅/𐤀𐤇𐤃 veechad Eka (Bemba) and one HC/Acmsa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR שְׂמֹאלָֽ/הּ 𐤔𐤌𐤀𐤋/𐤄 semolah its left HNcmsc/Sp3fs

and I answered and said to the angel speaking with me saying what are these my lord

4 וָ/אַ֨עַן֙ 𐤅/𐤀𐤏𐤍 vaaan and I answered HC/Vqw1cs וָֽ/אֹמַ֔ר 𐤅/𐤀𐤌𐤓 vaomar and said HC/Vqw1cs אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הַ/מַּלְאָ֛ךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤊 hamaleakhe the angel HTd/Ncmsa הַ/דֹּבֵ֥ר 𐤄/𐤃𐤁𐤓 hadover speaking HTd/Vqrmsa בִּ֖/י 𐤁/𐤉 bi with me HR/Sp1cs לֵ/אמֹ֑ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc מָה 𐤌𐤄 mah what HTi אֵ֖לֶּה 𐤀𐤋𐤄 eleh are these HPdxcp אֲדֹנִֽ/י 𐤀𐤃𐤍/𐤉 adoni my lord HNcmsc/Sp1cs

answered the angel who was speaking with me and said to me Do not you know what these are And I said No my lord

5 וַ֠/יַּעַן 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤍 vayaan answered HC/Vqw3ms הַ/מַּלְאָ֞ךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤊 hamaleakhe the angel HTd/Ncmsa הַ/דֹּבֵ֥ר 𐤄/𐤃𐤁𐤓 hadover who was speaking HTd/Vqrmsa בִּ/י֙ 𐤁/𐤉 bi with me HR/Sp1cs וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms אֵלַ֔/י 𐤀𐤋/𐤉 elay to me HR/Sp1cs הֲ/ל֥וֹא 𐤄/𐤋𐤅𐤀 halo Do not HTi/Tn יָדַ֖עְתָּ 𐤉𐤃𐤏𐤕 yadaeta you know HVqp2ms מָה 𐤌𐤄 mah what HTi הֵ֣מָּה 𐤄𐤌𐤄 hemah these HPp3mp אֵ֑לֶּה 𐤀𐤋𐤄 eleh are HPdxcp וָ/אֹמַ֖ר 𐤅/𐤀𐤌𐤓 vaomar And I said HC/Vqw1cs לֹ֥א 𐤋𐤀 lo No HTn אֲדֹנִֽ/י 𐤀𐤃𐤍/𐤉 adoni my lord HNcmsc/Sp1cs

and he answered and he said to me saying this word YHWH to Zerubbabel saying not by might nor by power for if by my Spirit says YHWH of Hosts

6 וַ/יַּ֜עַן 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤍 vayaan and he answered HC/Vqw3ms וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and he said HC/Vqw3ms אֵלַ/י֙ 𐤀𐤋/𐤉 elay to me HR/Sp1cs לֵ/אמֹ֔ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc זֶ֚ה 𐤆𐤄 zeh this HPdxms דְּבַר 𐤃𐤁𐤓 devar word HNcmsc יְהוָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל 𐤆𐤓𐤁𐤁𐤋 zerubavel Zerubbabel HNp לֵ/אמֹ֑ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor-2 saying HR/Vqc לֹ֤א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn בְ/חַ֨יִל֙ 𐤁/𐤇𐤉𐤋 vechayil by might HR/Ncmsa וְ/לֹ֣א 𐤅/𐤋𐤀 velo nor HC/Tn בְ/כֹ֔חַ 𐤁/𐤊𐤇 vekhocha by power HR/Ncmsa כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC אִם 𐤀𐤌 im if HC בְּ/רוּחִ֔/י 𐤁/𐤓𐤅𐤇/𐤉 beruchi Roho (Swahili) by my Spirit HR/Ncbsc/Sp1cs אָמַ֖ר 𐤀𐤌𐤓 amar says HVqp3ms יְהוָ֥ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp צְבָאֽוֹת 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 tsevaot of Hosts HNcbpa

Who are you mountain great before Zerubbabel a plain and he will bring out [direct object marker] the stone the head/top shoutings Grace grace to it

7 מִֽי 𐤌𐤉 mi Who HTi אַתָּ֧ה 𐤀𐤕𐤄 atah are you HPp2ms הַֽר 𐤄𐤓 har mountain HNcmsc הַ/גָּד֛וֹל 𐤄/𐤂𐤃𐤅𐤋 hagadol great HTd/Aamsa לִ/פְנֵ֥י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל 𐤆𐤓𐤁𐤁𐤋 zerubavel Zerubbabel HNp לְ/מִישֹׁ֑ר 𐤋/𐤌𐤉𐤔𐤓 lemishor a plain HR/Ncmsa וְ/הוֹצִיא֙ 𐤅/𐤄𐤅𐤑𐤉𐤀 vehotsi and he will bring out HC/Vhq3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo הָ/אֶ֣בֶן 𐤄/𐤀𐤁𐤍 haeven the stone HTd/Ncfsa הָ/רֹאשָׁ֔ה 𐤄/𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤄 haroshah the head/top HTd/Aafsa תְּשֻׁא֕וֹת 𐤕𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤕 teshuot shoutings HNcfpa חֵ֥ן 𐤇𐤍 chen Grace HNcmsa חֵ֖ן 𐤇𐤍 chen-2 grace HNcmsa לָֽ/הּ 𐤋/𐤄 lah to it HR/Sp3fs

And it came the word of YHWH to me saying

8 וַ/יְהִ֥י 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi And it came HC/Vqw3ms דְבַר 𐤃𐤁𐤓 devar the word HNcmsc יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) of YHWH HNp אֵלַ֥/י 𐤀𐤋/𐤉 elay to me HR/Sp1cs לֵ/אמֹֽר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc

hands Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of the house this and-his-hands will finish and-you-will-know that YHWH of hosts has sent me to you

9 יְדֵ֣י 𐤉𐤃𐤉 yedey hands HNcbdc זְרֻבָּבֶ֗ל 𐤆𐤓𐤁𐤁𐤋 zerubavel Zerubbabel HNp יִסְּד֛וּ 𐤉𐤎𐤃𐤅 yisedu have laid the foundation HVpp3cp הַ/בַּ֥יִת 𐤄/𐤁𐤉𐤕 habayit of the house HTd/Ncmsa הַ/זֶּ֖ה 𐤄/𐤆𐤄 hazeh this HTd/Pdxms וְ/יָדָ֣י/ו 𐤅/𐤉𐤃𐤉/𐤅 veyadayv and-his-hands HC/Ncbdc/Sp3ms תְּבַצַּ֑עְנָה 𐤕𐤁𐤑𐤏𐤍𐤄 tevatsaenah will finish HVpi3fp וְ/יָ֣דַעְתָּ֔ 𐤅/𐤉𐤃𐤏𐤕 veyadaeta and-you-will-know HC/Vqp2ms כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki that HC יְהוָ֥ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp צְבָא֖וֹת 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 tsevaot of hosts HNcbpa שְׁלָחַ֥/נִי 𐤔𐤋𐤇/𐤍𐤉 shelachani has sent me HVqp3ms/Sp1cs אֲלֵי/כֶֽם 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤊𐤌 aleykhem to you HR/Sp2mp

for who has despised the day of small things and they shall rejoice and they shall see [direct object marker] the stone of tin in the hand of Zerubbabel seven these eyes of YHWH they ranging through all the earth

Then I answered and said to him What two olive trees these on right of the lampstand and on its left

11 וָ/אַ֖עַן 𐤅/𐤀𐤏𐤍 vaaan Then I answered HC/Vqw1cs וָ/אֹמַ֣ר 𐤅/𐤀𐤌𐤓 vaomar and said HC/Vqw1cs אֵלָ֑י/ו 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤅 elayv to him HR/Sp3ms מַה 𐤌𐤄 mah What HTi שְּׁנֵ֤י 𐤔𐤍𐤉 sheney two HAcmdc הַ/זֵּיתִים֙ 𐤄/𐤆𐤉𐤕𐤉𐤌 hazeytim olive trees HTd/Ncmpa הָ/אֵ֔לֶה 𐤄/𐤀𐤋𐤄 haeleh these HTd/Pdxcp עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR יְמִ֥ין 𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤍 yemin right HNcfsc הַ/מְּנוֹרָ֖ה 𐤄/𐤌𐤍𐤅𐤓𐤄 hamenorah of the lampstand HTd/Ncfsa וְ/עַל 𐤅/𐤏𐤋 veal and on HC/R שְׂמֹאולָֽ/הּ 𐤔𐤌𐤀𐤅𐤋/𐤄 semovlah its left HNcmsc/Sp3fs

And I answered a second time and said to him What two branches of the olive trees which through the two pipes golden that pour out from them oil

12 וָ/אַ֣עַן 𐤅/𐤀𐤏𐤍 vaaan And I answered HC/Vqw1cs שֵׁנִ֔ית 𐤔𐤍𐤉𐤕 shenit a second time HAofsa וָ/אֹמַ֖ר 𐤅/𐤀𐤌𐤓 vaomar and said HC/Vqw1cs אֵלָ֑י/ו 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤅 elayv to him HR/Sp3ms מַה 𐤌𐤄 mah What HTi שְׁתֵּ֞י 𐤔𐤕𐤉 shetey two HAcfdc שִׁבֲּלֵ֣י 𐤔𐤁𐤋𐤉 shibaley branches HNcfpc הַ/זֵּיתִ֗ים 𐤄/𐤆𐤉𐤕𐤉𐤌 hazeytim of the olive trees HTd/Ncmpa אֲשֶׁר֙ 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr בְּ/יַ֗ד 𐤁/𐤉𐤃 beyad through HR/Ncbsc שְׁנֵי֙ 𐤔𐤍𐤉 sheney the two HAcmdc צַנְתְּר֣וֹת 𐤑𐤍𐤕𐤓𐤅𐤕 tsaneterot pipes HNcmpc הַ/זָּהָ֔ב 𐤄/𐤆𐤄𐤁 hazahav golden HTd/Ncmsa הַֽ/מְרִיקִ֥ים 𐤄/𐤌𐤓𐤉𐤒𐤉𐤌 hameriqim that pour out HTd/Vhrmpa מֵ/עֲלֵי/הֶ֖ם 𐤌/𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄𐤌 mealeyhem from them HR/R/Sp3mp הַ/זָּהָֽב 𐤄/𐤆𐤄𐤁 hazahav-2 oil HTd/Ncmsa

And he said to me saying Do not you know what these And I said No my lord

13 וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And he said HC/Vqw3ms אֵלַ/י֙ 𐤀𐤋/𐤉 elay to me HR/Sp1cs לֵ/אמֹ֔ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc הֲ/ל֥וֹא 𐤄/𐤋𐤅𐤀 halo Do not HTi/Tn יָדַ֖עְתָּ 𐤉𐤃𐤏𐤕 yadaeta you know HVqp2ms מָה 𐤌𐤄 mah what HTi אֵ֑לֶּה 𐤀𐤋𐤄 eleh these HPdxcp וָ/אֹמַ֖ר 𐤅/𐤀𐤌𐤓 vaomar And I said HC/Vqw1cs לֹ֥א 𐤋𐤀 lo No HTn אֲדֹנִֽ/י 𐤀𐤃𐤍/𐤉 adoni my lord HNcmsc/Sp1cs

Then he said These two sons of the oil who stand by YHWH of all the earth

14 וַ/יֹּ֕אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer Then he said HC/Vqw3ms אֵ֖לֶּה 𐤀𐤋𐤄 eleh These HPdxcp שְׁנֵ֣י 𐤔𐤍𐤉 sheney two HAcmdc בְנֵֽי 𐤁𐤍𐤉 veney Bene (Bemba) sons HNcmpc הַ/יִּצְהָ֑ר 𐤄/𐤉𐤑𐤄𐤓 hayitsehar of the oil HTd/Ncmsa הָ/עֹמְדִ֖ים 𐤄/𐤏𐤌𐤃𐤉𐤌 haomedim who stand HTd/Vqrmpa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al by HR אֲד֥וֹן 𐤀𐤃𐤅𐤍 adon YHWH HNcmsc כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal of all HNcmsc הָ/אָֽרֶץ 𐤄/𐤀𐤓𐤑 haarets the earth HTd/Ncbsa
