Numbers 33

The chapter records the itinerary of Israel's journeys from Egypt to the plains of Moab, listing 42 encampments commanded by YHWH, and instructs driving out Canaanites and destroying their idols upon entering the land.[1]

And Aaron went up Aaron the priest to Hor the mountain at mouth of YHWH and he died there in the year of fortieth to the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt in the month the fifth on the first of the month

you shall inherit the land by lot according to your families to the large you shall give more of his inheritance and to the small you shall give less of his inheritance to which falls for him there the lot for him shall be according to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit

But if not you drive out [direct object marker] inhabitants of the land from before you then it shall be those which you let remain of them pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell therein
