And he said David Is there still left who remains of the house of Saul that I may show to him kindness for the sake of Jonathan

1 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And he said HC/Vqw3ms דָּוִ֔ד 𐤃𐤅𐤃 david David HNp הֲ/כִ֣י 𐤄/𐤊𐤉 hakhi Is there HTi/C יֶשׁ 𐤉𐤔 yesh still HTm ע֔וֹד 𐤏𐤅𐤃 od left HD אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher who HTr נוֹתַ֖ר 𐤍𐤅𐤕𐤓 notar remains HVNp3ms לְ/בֵ֣ית 𐤋/𐤁𐤉𐤕 leveyt of the house HR/Ncmsc שָׁא֑וּל 𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋 shaul of Saul HNp וְ/אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה 𐤅/𐤀𐤏𐤔𐤄 veeeseh that I may show HC/Vqi1cs עִמּ/וֹ֙ 𐤏𐤌/𐤅 imo to him HR/Sp3ms חֶ֔סֶד 𐤇𐤎𐤃 chesed kindness HNcmsa בַּ/עֲב֖וּר 𐤁/𐤏𐤁𐤅𐤓 baavur for the sake of HR/Ncmsc יְהוֹנָתָֽן 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤍𐤕𐤍 yehonatan Jonathan HNp

and-of-the-house Saul a-servant and-his-name Ziba and-they-called to-him to David and-said the-king to-him are-you Ziba and-he-said your-servant

2 וּ/לְ/בֵ֨ית 𐤅/𐤋/𐤁𐤉𐤕 uleveyt and-of-the-house HC/R/Ncmsc שָׁא֥וּל 𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋 shaul Saul HNp עֶ֨בֶד֙ 𐤏𐤁𐤃 eved a-servant HNcmsa וּ/שְׁמ֣/וֹ 𐤅/𐤔𐤌/𐤅 ushemo and-his-name HC/Ncmsc/Sp3ms צִיבָ֔א 𐤑𐤉𐤁𐤀 tsiva Ziba HNp וַ/יִּקְרְאוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤀𐤅 vayiqereu and-they-called HC/Vqw3mp ל֖/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo to-him HR/Sp3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR דָּוִ֑ד 𐤃𐤅𐤃 david David HNp וַ/יֹּ֨אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and-said HC/Vqw3ms הַ/מֶּ֧לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe the-king HTd/Ncmsa אֵלָ֛י/ו 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤅 elayv to-him HR/Sp3ms הַ/אַתָּ֥ה 𐤄/𐤀𐤕𐤄 haatah are-you HTi/Pp2ms צִיבָ֖א 𐤑𐤉𐤁𐤀 tsiva-2 Ziba HNp וַ/יֹּ֥אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer-2 and-he-said HC/Vqw3ms עַבְדֶּֽ/ךָ 𐤏𐤁𐤃/𐤊 avedekha your-servant HNcmsc/Sp2ms

And the king said the king Is there not still man of the house of Saul that I may show to him kindness of God And said Ziba to the king still a son of Jonathan crippled in his feet

3 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And the king said HC/Vqw3ms הַ/מֶּ֗לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe the king HTd/Ncmsa הַ/אֶ֨פֶס 𐤄/𐤀𐤐𐤎 haefes Is there not HTi/Ncmsa ע֥וֹד 𐤏𐤅𐤃 od still HD אִישׁ֙ 𐤀𐤉𐤔 ish man HNcmsa לְ/בֵ֣ית 𐤋/𐤁𐤉𐤕 leveyt of the house HR/Ncmsc שָׁא֔וּל 𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋 shaul of Saul HNp וְ/אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה 𐤅/𐤀𐤏𐤔𐤄 veeeseh that I may show HC/Vqi1cs עִמּ֖/וֹ 𐤏𐤌/𐤅 imo to him HR/Sp3ms חֶ֣סֶד 𐤇𐤎𐤃 chesed kindness HNcmsc אֱלֹהִ֑ים 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 elohim Mulimu (Lozi) of God HNcmpa וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer-2 And said HC/Vqw3ms צִיבָא֙ 𐤑𐤉𐤁𐤀 tsiva Ziba HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הַ/מֶּ֔לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe-2 the king HTd/Ncmsa ע֛וֹד 𐤏𐤅𐤃 od-2 still HD בֵּ֥ן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) a son HNcmsa לִ/יהוֹנָתָ֖ן 𐤋/𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤍𐤕𐤍 lihonatan of Jonathan HR/Np נְכֵ֥ה 𐤍𐤊𐤄 nekheh crippled HAamsc רַגְלָֽיִם 𐤓𐤂𐤋𐤉𐤌 ragelayim in his feet HNcfda

And the king said to him the king Where is he And said Ziba to the king Behold he in the house of Machir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar

4 וַ/יֹּֽאמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And the king said HC/Vqw3ms ל֥/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo to him HR/Sp3ms הַ/מֶּ֖לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe the king HTd/Ncmsa אֵיפֹ֣ה 𐤀𐤉𐤐𐤄 eyfoh Where HTi ה֑וּא 𐤄𐤅𐤀 hu is he HPp3ms וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer-2 And said HC/Vqw3ms צִיבָא֙ 𐤑𐤉𐤁𐤀 tsiva Ziba HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הַ/מֶּ֔לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe-2 the king HTd/Ncmsa הִנֵּה 𐤄𐤍𐤄 hineh Behold HTm ה֗וּא 𐤄𐤅𐤀 hu-2 he HPp3ms בֵּ֛ית 𐤁𐤉𐤕 beyt in the house of HNcmsc מָכִ֥יר 𐤌𐤊𐤉𐤓 makhir Machir HNp בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) son of HNcmsc עַמִּיאֵ֖ל 𐤏𐤌𐤉𐤀𐤋 amiel Ammiel HNp בְּ/ל֥וֹ 𐤁/𐤋𐤅 belo in Lo HR/Np דְבָֽר 𐤃𐤁𐤓 devar Debar HNp

and sent the king David and took him from house Machir son of Ammiel from Lo Debar

5 וַ/יִּשְׁלַ֖ח 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤋𐤇 vayishelach and sent HC/Vqw3ms הַ/מֶּ֣לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe the king HTd/Ncmsa דָּוִ֑ד 𐤃𐤅𐤃 david David HNp וַ/יִּקָּחֵ֗/הוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤇/𐤄𐤅 vayiqachehu and took him HC/Vqw3ms/Sp3ms מִ/בֵּ֛ית 𐤌/𐤁𐤉𐤕 mibeyt from house HR/Ncmsc מָכִ֥יר 𐤌𐤊𐤉𐤓 makhir Machir HNp בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) son HNcmsc עַמִּיאֵ֖ל 𐤏𐤌𐤉𐤀𐤋 amiel of Ammiel HNp מִ/לּ֥וֹ 𐤌/𐤋𐤅 milo from Lo HR/Np דְבָֽר 𐤃𐤁𐤓 devar Debar HNp

came Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan the son of Saul to David he fell on his face and prostrated himself said David Mephibosheth said here your servant

6 וַ֠/יָּבֹא 𐤅/𐤉𐤁𐤀 vayavo came HC/Vqw3ms מְפִיבֹ֨שֶׁת 𐤌𐤐𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤕 mefivoshet Mephibosheth HNp בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) the son HNcmsc יְהוֹנָתָ֤ן 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤍𐤕𐤍 yehonatan of Jonathan HNp בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben-2 Bene (Bemba) the son HNcmsc שָׁאוּל֙ 𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋 shaul of Saul HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR דָּוִ֔ד 𐤃𐤅𐤃 david David HNp וַ/יִּפֹּ֥ל 𐤅/𐤉𐤐𐤋 vayipol he fell HC/Vqw3ms עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR פָּנָ֖י/ו 𐤐𐤍𐤉/𐤅 panayv his face HNcbpc/Sp3ms וַ/יִּשְׁתָּ֑חוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤕𐤇𐤅 vayishetachu and prostrated himself HC/Vtw3ms וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer said HC/Vqw3ms דָּוִד֙ 𐤃𐤅𐤃 david-2 David HNp מְפִיבֹ֔שֶׁת 𐤌𐤐𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤕 mefivoshet-2 Mephibosheth HNp וַ/יֹּ֖אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer-2 said HC/Vqw3ms הִנֵּ֥ה 𐤄𐤍𐤄 hineh here HTm עַבְדֶּֽ/ךָ 𐤏𐤁𐤃/𐤊 avedekha your servant HNcmsc/Sp2ms

And he said to him David not fear for doing I will do with you kindness for the sake of Jonathan your father and I will restore to you [direct object marker] all the field of Saul your father and you shall eat bread at my table continually

7 וַ/יֹּאמֶר֩ 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And he said HC/Vqw3ms ל֨/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo to him HR/Sp3ms דָוִ֜ד 𐤃𐤅𐤃 david David HNp אַל 𐤀𐤋 al not HTn תִּירָ֗א 𐤕𐤉𐤓𐤀 tira fear HVqj2ms כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC עָשֹׂה֩ 𐤏𐤔𐤄 asoh doing HVqa אֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה 𐤀𐤏𐤔𐤄 eeseh I will do HVqi1cs עִמְּ/ךָ֥ 𐤏𐤌/𐤊 imekha with you HR/Sp2ms חֶ֨סֶד֙ 𐤇𐤎𐤃 chesed kindness HNcmsa בַּֽ/עֲבוּר֙ 𐤁/𐤏𐤁𐤅𐤓 baavur for the sake of HR/Ncmsc יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤍𐤕𐤍 yehonatan Jonathan HNp אָבִ֔י/ךָ 𐤀𐤁𐤉/𐤊 avikha your father HNcmsc/Sp2ms וַ/הֲשִׁבֹתִ֣י 𐤅/𐤄𐤔𐤁𐤕𐤉 vahashivoti and I will restore HC/Vhq1cs לְ/ךָ֔ 𐤋/𐤊 lekha to you HR/Sp2ms אֶֽת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal all HNcmsc שְׂדֵ֖ה 𐤔𐤃𐤄 sedeh the field HNcmsc שָׁא֣וּל 𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋 shaul of Saul HNp אָבִ֑י/ךָ 𐤀𐤁𐤉/𐤊 avikha-2 your father HNcmsc/Sp2ms וְ/אַתָּ֗ה 𐤅/𐤀𐤕𐤄 veatah and you HC/Pp2ms תֹּ֥אכַל 𐤕𐤀𐤊𐤋 tokhal shall eat HVqi2ms לֶ֛חֶם 𐤋𐤇𐤌 lechem bread HNcbsa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al-2 at HR שֻׁלְחָנִ֖/י 𐤔𐤋𐤇𐤍/𐤉 shulechani my table HNcmsc/Sp1cs תָּמִֽיד 𐤕𐤌𐤉𐤃 tamid continually HNcmsa

And he bowed down and said What is your servant that you have turned to the dog dead such as I

8 וַ/יִּשְׁתַּ֕חוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤕𐤇𐤅 vayishetachu And he bowed down HC/Vtw3ms וַ/יֹּ֖אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms מֶ֣ה 𐤌𐤄 meh What HTi עַבְדֶּ֑/ךָ 𐤏𐤁𐤃/𐤊 avedekha is your servant HNcmsc/Sp2ms כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki that HC פָנִ֔יתָ 𐤐𐤍𐤉𐤕 fanita you have turned HVqp2ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הַ/כֶּ֥לֶב 𐤄/𐤊𐤋𐤁 hakelev the dog HTd/Ncmsa הַ/מֵּ֖ת 𐤄/𐤌𐤕 hamet dead HTd/Vqrmsa אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher such as HTr כָּמֽוֹ/נִי 𐤊𐤌𐤅/𐤍𐤉 kamoni I HR/Sp1cs

and called the king to Ziba servant Saul's and said to him all that was to Saul and to all his house I have given to the son of your master

9 וַ/יִּקְרָ֣א 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤀 vayiqera and called HC/Vqw3ms הַ/מֶּ֗לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe the king HTd/Ncmsa אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR צִיבָ֛א 𐤑𐤉𐤁𐤀 tsiva Ziba HNp נַ֥עַר 𐤍𐤏𐤓 naar servant HNcmsc שָׁא֖וּל 𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋 shaul Saul's HNp וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms אֵלָ֑י/ו 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤅 elayv to him HR/Sp3ms כֹּל֩ 𐤊𐤋 kol all HNcmsc אֲשֶׁ֨ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr הָיָ֤ה 𐤄𐤉𐤄 hayah was HVqp3ms לְ/שָׁאוּל֙ 𐤋/𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋 leshaul to Saul HR/Np וּ/לְ/כָל 𐤅/𐤋/𐤊𐤋 ulekhal and to all HC/R/Ncmsc בֵּית֔/וֹ 𐤁𐤉𐤕/𐤅 beyto his house HNcmsc/Sp3ms נָתַ֖תִּי 𐤍𐤕𐤕𐤉 natati I have given HVqp1cs לְ/בֶן 𐤋/𐤁𐤍 leven Bene (Bemba) to the son HR/Ncmsc אֲדֹנֶֽי/ךָ 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉/𐤊 adoneykha of your master HNcmpc/Sp2ms

and you shall serve for him [direct object marker] the land you and your sons and your servants and you shall bring and it shall be for son of your lord bread and he shall eat it but Mephibosheth son of your lord he shall eat continually bread at my table and to Ziba fifteen ten sons and twenty servants

10 וְ/עָבַ֣דְתָּ 𐤅/𐤏𐤁𐤃𐤕 veavadeta and you shall serve HC/Vqq2ms לּ֣/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo for him HR/Sp3ms אֶֽת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo הָ/אֲדָמָ֡ה 𐤄/𐤀𐤃𐤌𐤄 haadamah the land HTd/Ncfsa אַתָּה֩ 𐤀𐤕𐤄 atah you HPp2ms וּ/בָנֶ֨י/ךָ 𐤅/𐤁𐤍𐤉/𐤊 uvaneykha Bene (Bemba) and your sons HC/Ncmpc/Sp2ms וַ/עֲבָדֶ֜י/ךָ 𐤅/𐤏𐤁𐤃𐤉/𐤊 vaavadeykha and your servants HC/Ncmpc/Sp2ms וְ/הֵבֵ֗אתָ 𐤅/𐤄𐤁𐤀𐤕 veheveta and you shall bring HC/Vhq2ms וְ/הָיָ֨ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤄 vehayah and it shall be HC/Vqq3ms לְ/בֶן 𐤋/𐤁𐤍 leven Bene (Bemba) for son HR/Ncmsc אֲדֹנֶ֤י/ךָ 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉/𐤊 adoneykha of your lord HNcmpc/Sp2ms לֶּ֨חֶם֙ 𐤋𐤇𐤌 lechem bread HNcbsa וַ/אֲכָל֔/וֹ 𐤅/𐤀𐤊𐤋/𐤅 vaakhalo and he shall eat it HC/Vqq3ms/Sp3ms וּ/מְפִיבֹ֨שֶׁת֙ 𐤅/𐤌𐤐𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤕 umefivoshet but Mephibosheth HC/Np בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) son HNcmsc אֲדֹנֶ֔י/ךָ 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉/𐤊 adoneykha-2 of your lord HNcmpc/Sp2ms יֹאכַ֥ל 𐤉𐤀𐤊𐤋 yokhal he shall eat HVqi3ms תָּמִ֛יד 𐤕𐤌𐤉𐤃 tamid continually HNcmsa לֶ֖חֶם 𐤋𐤇𐤌 lechem-2 bread HNcbsa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al at HR שֻׁלְחָנִ֑/י 𐤔𐤋𐤇𐤍/𐤉 shulechani my table HNcmsc/Sp1cs וּ/לְ/צִיבָ֗א 𐤅/𐤋/𐤑𐤉𐤁𐤀 uletsiva and to Ziba HC/R/Np חֲמִשָּׁ֥ה 𐤇𐤌𐤔𐤄 chamishah fifteen HAcmsa עָשָׂ֛ר 𐤏𐤔𐤓 asar ten HAcmsa בָּנִ֖ים 𐤁𐤍𐤉𐤌 banim Bene (Bemba) sons HNcmpa וְ/עֶשְׂרִ֥ים 𐤅/𐤏𐤔𐤓𐤉𐤌 veeserim and twenty HC/Acbpa עֲבָדִֽים 𐤏𐤁𐤃𐤉𐤌 avadim servants HNcmpa

And he said Ziba to the king According to all that commands my lord the king [direct object marker] his servant so he shall do your servant And Mephibosheth [he is] eating at my table like one of the sons of the king

11 וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And he said HC/Vqw3ms צִיבָא֙ 𐤑𐤉𐤁𐤀 tsiva Ziba HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הַ/מֶּ֔לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe the king HTd/Ncmsa כְּ/כֹל֩ 𐤊/𐤊𐤋 kekhol According to all HR/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁ֨ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr יְצַוֶּ֜ה 𐤉𐤑𐤅𐤄 yetsaveh commands HVpi3ms אֲדֹנִ֤/י 𐤀𐤃𐤍/𐤉 adoni my lord HNcmsc/Sp1cs הַ/מֶּ֨לֶךְ֙ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe-2 the king HTd/Ncmsa אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo עַבְדּ֔/וֹ 𐤏𐤁𐤃/𐤅 avedo his servant HNcmsc/Sp3ms כֵּ֖ן 𐤊𐤍 ken so HTm יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה 𐤉𐤏𐤔𐤄 yaaseh he shall do HVqi3ms עַבְדֶּ֑/ךָ 𐤏𐤁𐤃/𐤊 avedekha your servant HNcmsc/Sp2ms וּ/מְפִיבֹ֗שֶׁת 𐤅/𐤌𐤐𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤕 umefivoshet And Mephibosheth HC/Np אֹכֵל֙ 𐤀𐤊𐤋 okhel [he is] eating HVqrmsa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al at HR שֻׁלְחָנִ֔/י 𐤔𐤋𐤇𐤍/𐤉 shulechani my table HNcmsc/Sp1cs כְּ/אַחַ֖ד 𐤊/𐤀𐤇𐤃 keachad Eka (Bemba) like one HR/Acmsc מִ/בְּנֵ֥י 𐤌/𐤁𐤍𐤉 mibeney Bene (Bemba) of the sons HR/Ncmpc הַ/מֶּֽלֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe-3 of the king HTd/Ncmsa

to Mephibosheth son young and his name was Mica And all who dwelt in the house of Ziba servants to Mephibosheth

12 וְ/לִ/מְפִיבֹ֥שֶׁת 𐤅/𐤋/𐤌𐤐𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤕 velimefivoshet to Mephibosheth HC/R/Np בֵּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) son HNcmsa קָטָ֖ן 𐤒𐤈𐤍 qatan young HAamsa וּ/שְׁמ֣/וֹ 𐤅/𐤔𐤌/𐤅 ushemo and his name HC/Ncmsc/Sp3ms מִיכָ֑א 𐤌𐤉𐤊𐤀 mikha was Mica HNp וְ/כֹל֙ 𐤅/𐤊𐤋 vekhol And all HC/Ncmsc מוֹשַׁ֣ב 𐤌𐤅𐤔𐤁 moshav who dwelt HNcmsc בֵּית 𐤁𐤉𐤕 beyt in the house HNcmsc צִיבָ֔א 𐤑𐤉𐤁𐤀 tsiva of Ziba HNp עֲבָדִ֖ים 𐤏𐤁𐤃𐤉𐤌 avadim servants HNcmpa לִ/מְפִיבֹֽשֶׁת 𐤋/𐤌𐤐𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤕 limefivoshet to Mephibosheth HR/Np

And Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem for at the table of the king continually he ate and he was lame both his feet
