Leviticus 12

And spoke YHWH to Moses saying

1 וַ/יְדַבֵּ֥ר 𐤅/𐤉𐤃𐤁𐤓 vayedaber And spoke HC/Vpw3ms יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR מֹשֶׁ֥ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp לֵּ/אמֹֽר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc

Speak to the sons of Israel saying a woman if conceives and bears a male then she shall be unclean seven days as the days of her menstrual impurity period she shall be unclean

2 דַּבֵּ֞ר 𐤃𐤁𐤓 daber Speak HVpv2ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR בְּנֵ֤י 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) the sons of HNcmpc יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp לֵ/אמֹ֔ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc אִשָּׁה֙ 𐤀𐤔𐤄 ishah a woman HNcfsa כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki if HC תַזְרִ֔יעַ 𐤕𐤆𐤓𐤉𐤏 tazeria conceives HVhi3fs וְ/יָלְדָ֖ה 𐤅/𐤉𐤋𐤃𐤄 veyaledah and bears HC/Vqq3fs זָכָ֑ר 𐤆𐤊𐤓 zakhar a male HAamsa וְ/טָֽמְאָה֙ 𐤅/𐤈𐤌𐤀𐤄 vetameah then she shall be unclean HC/Vqq3fs שִׁבְעַ֣ת 𐤔𐤁𐤏𐤕 shiveat seven HAcmsc יָמִ֔ים 𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 yamim days HNcmpa כִּ/ימֵ֛י 𐤊/𐤉𐤌𐤉 kimey as the days of HR/Ncmpc נִדַּ֥ת 𐤍𐤃𐤕 nidat her menstrual impurity HNcfsc דְּוֺתָ֖/הּ 𐤃𐤅𐤕/𐤄 deotah period HVqc/Sp3fs תִּטְמָֽא 𐤕𐤈𐤌𐤀 titema she shall be unclean HVqi3fs

and on the day the eighth shall be circumcised flesh his foreskin

3 וּ/בַ/יּ֖וֹם 𐤅/𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 uvayom and on the day HC/Rd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁמִינִ֑י 𐤄/𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤉 hashemini the eighth HTd/Aomsa יִמּ֖וֹל 𐤉𐤌𐤅𐤋 yimol shall be circumcised HVNi3ms בְּשַׂ֥ר 𐤁𐤔𐤓 besar flesh HNcmsc עָרְלָתֽ/וֹ 𐤏𐤓𐤋𐤕/𐤅 arelato his foreskin HNcfsc/Sp3ms

and-thirty days and-three days she-shall-remain in-blood-of purification in-any holy-thing not she-shall-touch and-to the-sanctuary not she-shall-enter until fulfillment-of days-of her-purification

4 וּ/שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים 𐤅/𐤔𐤋𐤔𐤉𐤌 usheloshim and-thirty HC/Acbpa יוֹם֙ 𐤉𐤅𐤌 yom days HNcmsa וּ/שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת 𐤅/𐤔𐤋𐤔𐤕 usheloshet and-three HC/Acmsc יָמִ֔ים 𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 yamim days HNcmpa תֵּשֵׁ֖ב 𐤕𐤔𐤁 teshev she-shall-remain HVqi3fs בִּ/דְמֵ֣י 𐤁/𐤃𐤌𐤉 bidemey in-blood-of HR/Ncmpc טָהֳרָ֑ה 𐤈𐤄𐤓𐤄 tahorah purification HNcbsa בְּ/כָל 𐤁/𐤊𐤋 bekhal in-any HR/Ncmsc קֹ֣דֶשׁ 𐤒𐤃𐤔 qodesh holy-thing HNcmsa לֹֽא 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn תִגָּ֗ע 𐤕𐤂𐤏 tiga she-shall-touch HVqi3fs וְ/אֶל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel and-to HC/R הַ/מִּקְדָּשׁ֙ 𐤄/𐤌𐤒𐤃𐤔 hamiqedash the-sanctuary HTd/Ncmsa לֹ֣א 𐤋𐤀 lo-2 not HTn תָבֹ֔א 𐤕𐤁𐤀 tavo she-shall-enter HVqi3fs עַד 𐤏𐤃 ad until HR מְלֹ֖את 𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤕 melot fulfillment-of HVqc יְמֵ֥י 𐤉𐤌𐤉 yemey days-of HNcmpc טָהֳרָֽ/הּ 𐤈𐤄𐤓/𐤄 tahorah-2 her-purification HNcbsc/Sp3fs

But if female she bears she shall be unclean two weeks as in her menstruation and sixty days and six days she shall remain in blood of her purifying

5 וְ/אִם 𐤅/𐤀𐤌 veim But if HC/C נְקֵבָ֣ה 𐤍𐤒𐤁𐤄 neqevah female HNcfsa תֵלֵ֔ד 𐤕𐤋𐤃 teled she bears HVqi3fs וְ/טָמְאָ֥ה 𐤅/𐤈𐤌𐤀𐤄 vetameah she shall be unclean HC/Vqq3fs שְׁבֻעַ֖יִם 𐤔𐤁𐤏𐤉𐤌 shevuayim two weeks HNcmda כְּ/נִדָּתָ֑/הּ 𐤊/𐤍𐤃𐤕/𐤄 kenidatah as in her menstruation HR/Ncfsc/Sp3fs וְ/שִׁשִּׁ֥ים 𐤅/𐤔𐤔𐤉𐤌 veshishim and sixty HC/Acbpa יוֹם֙ 𐤉𐤅𐤌 yom days HNcmsa וְ/שֵׁ֣שֶׁת 𐤅/𐤔𐤔𐤕 vesheshet and six HC/Acmsc יָמִ֔ים 𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 yamim days HNcmpa תֵּשֵׁ֖ב 𐤕𐤔𐤁 teshev she shall remain HVqi3fs עַל 𐤏𐤋 al in HR דְּמֵ֥י 𐤃𐤌𐤉 demey blood HNcmpc טָהֳרָֽה 𐤈𐤄𐤓𐤄 tahorah of her purifying HNcbsa

and-when-are-completed days of-her-purification for-a-son or for-a-daughter she-shall-bring a-lamb a-son-of his-year for-a-burnt-offering and-a-son-of a-dove or a-turtledove for-a-sin-offering to entrance tent of-meeting to the-priest

6 וּ/בִ/מְלֹ֣את 𐤅/𐤁/𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤕 uvimelot and-when-are-completed HC/R/Vqc יְמֵ֣י 𐤉𐤌𐤉 yemey days HNcmpc טָהֳרָ֗/הּ 𐤈𐤄𐤓/𐤄 tahorah of-her-purification HNcbsc/Sp3fs לְ/בֵן֮ 𐤋/𐤁𐤍 leven Bene (Bemba) for-a-son HR/Ncmsa א֣וֹ 𐤀𐤅 o or HC לְ/בַת֒ 𐤋/𐤁𐤕 levat for-a-daughter HR/Ncfsa תָּבִ֞יא 𐤕𐤁𐤉𐤀 tavi she-shall-bring HVhi3fs כֶּ֤בֶשׂ 𐤊𐤁𐤔 keves a-lamb HNcmsa בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) a-son-of HNcmsc שְׁנָת/וֹ֙ 𐤔𐤍𐤕/𐤅 shenato his-year HNcfsc/Sp3ms לְ/עֹלָ֔ה 𐤋/𐤏𐤋𐤄 leolah for-a-burnt-offering HR/Ncfsa וּ/בֶן 𐤅/𐤁𐤍 uven Bene (Bemba) and-a-son-of HC/Ncmsc יוֹנָ֥ה 𐤉𐤅𐤍𐤄 yonah a-dove HNcfsa אוֹ 𐤀𐤅 o-2 or HC תֹ֖ר 𐤕𐤓 tor a-turtledove HNcbsa לְ/חַטָּ֑את 𐤋/𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 lechatat for-a-sin-offering HR/Ncfsa אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR פֶּ֥תַח 𐤐𐤕𐤇 petach entrance HNcmsc אֹֽהֶל 𐤀𐤄𐤋 ohel tent HNcmsc מוֹעֵ֖ד 𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃 moed of-meeting HNcmsa אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el-2 to HR הַ/כֹּהֵֽן 𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍 hakohen the-priest HTd/Ncmsa

and he shall present it before YHWH and make atonement for her and she shall be clean from the source of her blood this law of the one bearing for the male or for the female

7 וְ/הִקְרִיב֞/וֹ 𐤅/𐤄𐤒𐤓𐤉𐤁/𐤅 vehiqerivo and he shall present it HC/Vhq3ms/Sp3ms לִ/פְנֵ֤י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc יְהוָה֙ 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp וְ/כִפֶּ֣ר 𐤅/𐤊𐤐𐤓 vekhiper and make atonement HC/Vpq3ms עָלֶ֔י/הָ 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄 aleyha for her HR/Sp3fs וְ/טָהֲרָ֖ה 𐤅/𐤈𐤄𐤓𐤄 vetaharah and she shall be clean HC/Vqq3fs מִ/מְּקֹ֣ר 𐤌/𐤌𐤒𐤓 mimeqor from the source HR/Ncmsc דָּמֶ֑י/הָ 𐤃𐤌𐤉/𐤄 dameyha of her blood HNcmpc/Sp3fs זֹ֤את 𐤆𐤀𐤕 zot this HPdxfs תּוֹרַת֙ 𐤕𐤅𐤓𐤕 torat law HNcfsc הַ/יֹּלֶ֔דֶת 𐤄/𐤉𐤋𐤃𐤕 hayoledet of the one bearing HTd/Vqrfsa לַ/זָּכָ֖ר 𐤋/𐤆𐤊𐤓 lazakhar for the male HRd/Ncmsa א֥וֹ 𐤀𐤅 o or HC לַ/נְּקֵבָֽה 𐤋/𐤍𐤒𐤁𐤄 laneqevah for the female HRd/Ncfsa

and-if not she finds her hand sufficiency lamb and-she shall take two turtledoves or two sons of pigeon one for burnt offering and-one for sin offering and-he shall make atonement for her the priest and-she shall be clean

8 וְ/אִם 𐤅/𐤀𐤌 veim and-if HC/C לֹ֨א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn תִמְצָ֣א 𐤕𐤌𐤑𐤀 timetsa she finds HVqi3fs יָדָ/הּ֮ 𐤉𐤃/𐤄 yadah her hand HNcbsc/Sp3fs דֵּ֣י 𐤃𐤉 dey sufficiency HNcmsc שֶׂה֒ 𐤔𐤄 seh lamb HNcbsa וְ/לָקְחָ֣ה 𐤅/𐤋𐤒𐤇𐤄 velaqechah and-she shall take HC/Vqq3fs שְׁתֵּֽי 𐤔𐤕𐤉 shetey two HAcfdc תֹרִ֗ים 𐤕𐤓𐤉𐤌 torim turtledoves HNcbpa א֤וֹ 𐤀𐤅 o or HC שְׁנֵי֙ 𐤔𐤍𐤉 sheney two HAcmdc בְּנֵ֣י 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) sons of HNcmpc יוֹנָ֔ה 𐤉𐤅𐤍𐤄 yonah pigeon HNcfsa אֶחָ֥ד 𐤀𐤇𐤃 echad Eka (Bemba) one HAcmsa לְ/עֹלָ֖ה 𐤋/𐤏𐤋𐤄 leolah for burnt offering HR/Ncfsa וְ/אֶחָ֣ד 𐤅/𐤀𐤇𐤃 veechad Eka (Bemba) and-one HC/Acmsa לְ/חַטָּ֑את 𐤋/𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 lechatat for sin offering HR/Ncfsa וְ/כִפֶּ֥ר 𐤅/𐤊𐤐𐤓 vekhiper and-he shall make atonement HC/Vpq3ms עָלֶ֛י/הָ 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄 aleyha for her HR/Sp3fs הַ/כֹּהֵ֖ן 𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍 hakohen the priest HTd/Ncmsa וְ/טָהֵֽרָה 𐤅/𐤈𐤄𐤓𐤄 vetaherah and-she shall be clean HC/Vqq3fs
