and returned Jehoshaphat king of Judah to his house in peace to Jerusalem

1 וַ֠/יָּשָׁב 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤁 vayashav and returned HC/Vqw3ms יְהוֹשָׁפָ֨ט 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤐𐤈 yehoshafat Jehoshaphat HNp מֶֽלֶךְ 𐤌𐤋𐤊 melekhe king HNcmsc יְהוּדָ֧ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 yehudah of Judah HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR בֵּית֛/וֹ 𐤁𐤉𐤕/𐤅 beyto his house HNcmsc/Sp3ms בְּ/שָׁל֖וֹם 𐤁/𐤔𐤋𐤅𐤌 beshalom in peace HR/Ncmsa לִֽ/ירוּשָׁלִָֽם 𐤋/𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌 lirushalaim to Jerusalem HR/Np

and went out to his face Jehu son of Hanani the seer and said to the king Jehoshaphat to help the wicked to help and those hating YHWH do you love and in this upon you wrath from before YHWH

2 וַ/יֵּצֵ֣א 𐤅/𐤉𐤑𐤀 vayetse and went out HC/Vqw3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR פָּנָ֗י/ו 𐤐𐤍𐤉/𐤅 panayv his face HNcbpc/Sp3ms יֵה֣וּא 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤀 yehu Jehu HNp בֶן 𐤁𐤍 ven Bene (Bemba) son of HNcmsc חֲנָ֘נִי֮ 𐤇𐤍𐤍𐤉 chanani Hanani HNp הַ/חֹזֶה֒ 𐤄/𐤇𐤆𐤄 hachozeh the seer HTd/Vqrmsa וַ/יֹּ֨אמֶר֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el-2 to HR הַ/מֶּ֣לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe the king HTd/Ncmsa יְהוֹשָׁפָ֔ט 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤐𐤈 yehoshafat Jehoshaphat HNp הֲ/לָ/רָשָׁ֣ע 𐤄/𐤋/𐤓𐤔𐤏 halarasha to help the wicked HTi/Rd/Aamsa לַ/עְזֹ֔ר 𐤋/𐤏𐤆𐤓 laezor to help HR/Vqc וּ/לְ/שֹׂנְאֵ֥י 𐤅/𐤋/𐤔𐤍𐤀𐤉 ulesoneey and those hating HC/R/Vqrmpc יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp תֶּאֱהָ֑ב 𐤕𐤀𐤄𐤁 teehav do you love HVqi2ms וּ/בָ/זֹאת֙ 𐤅/𐤁/𐤆𐤀𐤕 uvazot and in this HC/R/Pdxfs עָלֶ֣י/ךָ 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤊 aleykha upon you HR/Sp2ms קֶּ֔צֶף 𐤒𐤑𐤐 qetsef wrath HNcmsa מִ/לִּ/פְנֵ֖י 𐤌/𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 milifeney from before HR/R/Ncbpc יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

Nevertheless things good have been found in you for you have removed the Asherah poles from the land and you have set your heart to seek God

3 אֲבָ֕ל 𐤀𐤁𐤋 aval Nevertheless HD דְּבָרִ֥ים 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉𐤌 devarim things HNcmpa טוֹבִ֖ים 𐤈𐤅𐤁𐤉𐤌 tovim good HAampa נִמְצְא֣וּ 𐤍𐤌𐤑𐤀𐤅 nimetseu have been found HVNp3cp עִמָּ֑/ךְ 𐤏𐤌/𐤊 imakhe in you HR/Sp2fs כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC בִעַ֤רְתָּ 𐤁𐤏𐤓𐤕 viareta you have removed HVpp2ms הָ/אֲשֵׁרוֹת֙ 𐤄/𐤀𐤔𐤓𐤅𐤕 haasherot the Asherah poles HTd/Np מִן 𐤌𐤍 min from HR הָ/אָ֔רֶץ 𐤄/𐤀𐤓𐤑 haarets the land HTd/Ncbsa וַ/הֲכִינ֥וֹתָ 𐤅/𐤄𐤊𐤉𐤍𐤅𐤕 vahakhinota and you have set HC/Vhp2ms לְבָבְ/ךָ֖ 𐤋𐤁𐤁/𐤊 levavekha your heart HNcmsc/Sp2ms לִ/דְרֹ֥שׁ 𐤋/𐤃𐤓𐤔 liderosh to seek HR/Vqc הָֽ/אֱלֹהִֽים 𐤄/𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 haelohim Mulimu (Lozi) God HTd/Ncmpa

And he dwelt Jehoshaphat in Jerusalem and he returned and he went out among the people from Beersheba Sheba to the hill country of Ephraim and brought them back to YHWH the God of their fathers

and he appointed judges in the land in all cities Judah the fortified city by city and city

5 וַ/יַּעֲמֵ֨ד 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤌𐤃 vayaamed and he appointed HC/Vhw3ms שֹֽׁפְטִ֜ים 𐤔𐤐𐤈𐤉𐤌 shofetim judges HVqrmpa בָּ/אָ֗רֶץ 𐤁/𐤀𐤓𐤑 baarets in the land HRd/Ncbsa בְּ/כָל 𐤁/𐤊𐤋 bekhal in all HR/Ncmsc עָרֵ֧י 𐤏𐤓𐤉 arey cities HNcfpc יְהוּדָ֛ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 yehudah Judah HNp הַ/בְּצֻר֖וֹת 𐤄/𐤁𐤑𐤓𐤅𐤕 habetsurot the fortified HTd/Aafpa לְ/עִ֥יר 𐤋/𐤏𐤉𐤓 leir city by city HR/Ncfsa וָ/עִֽיר 𐤅/𐤏𐤉𐤓 vair and city HC/Ncfsa

and he said to the judges see what you are doing for not for man you judge for for YHWH and with you in matter of judgment

6 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and he said HC/Vqw3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הַ/שֹּֽׁפְטִ֗ים 𐤄/𐤔𐤐𐤈𐤉𐤌 hashofetim the judges HTd/Vqrmpa רְאוּ֙ 𐤓𐤀𐤅 reu see HVqv2mp מָֽה 𐤌𐤄 mah what HTi אַתֶּ֣ם 𐤀𐤕𐤌 atem you HPp2mp עֹשִׂ֔ים 𐤏𐤔𐤉𐤌 osim are doing HVqrmpa כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC לֹ֧א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn לְ/אָדָ֛ם 𐤋/𐤀𐤃𐤌 leadam for man HR/Ncmsa תִּשְׁפְּט֖וּ 𐤕𐤔𐤐𐤈𐤅 tishepetu you judge HVqi2mp כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki-2 for HC לַ/יהוָ֑ה 𐤋/𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 layhvah Nyambe (Lozi) for YHWH HR/Np וְ/עִמָּ/כֶ֖ם 𐤅/𐤏𐤌/𐤊𐤌 veimakhem and with you HC/R/Sp2mp בִּ/דְבַ֥ר 𐤁/𐤃𐤁𐤓 bidevar in matter of HR/Ncmsc מִשְׁפָּֽט 𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤈 mishepat judgment HNcmsa

now then let be fear YHWH upon you be careful and do for there is no with YHWH our God injustice or partiality of persons or taking of bribes

7 וְ/עַתָּ֕ה 𐤅/𐤏𐤕𐤄 veatah now then HC/D יְהִ֥י 𐤉𐤄𐤉 yehi let be HVqj3ms פַֽחַד 𐤐𐤇𐤃 fachad fear HNcmsc יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp עֲלֵי/כֶ֑ם 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤊𐤌 aleykhem upon you HR/Sp2mp שִׁמְר֣וּ 𐤔𐤌𐤓𐤅 shimeru be careful HVqv2mp וַ/עֲשׂ֔וּ 𐤅/𐤏𐤔𐤅 vaasu and do HC/Vqv2mp כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC אֵ֞ין 𐤀𐤉𐤍 eyn there is no HTn עִם 𐤏𐤌 im with HR יְהוָ֣ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֱלֹהֵ֗י/נוּ 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉/𐤍𐤅 eloheynu Mulimu (Lozi) our God HNcmpc/Sp1cp עַוְלָ֛ה 𐤏𐤅𐤋𐤄 avelah injustice HNcbsa וּ/מַשֹּׂ֥א 𐤅/𐤌𐤔𐤀 umaso or partiality HC/Ncmsc פָנִ֖ים 𐤐𐤍𐤉𐤌 fanim of persons HNcbpa וּ/מִקַּח 𐤅/𐤌𐤒𐤇 umiqach or taking HC/Ncmsc שֹֽׁחַד 𐤔𐤇𐤃 shochad of bribes HNcmsa

and also in Jerusalem he appointed Jehoshaphat from the Levites and the priests and from heads of the fathers of Israel for judgment YHWH and for strife and they returned to Jerusalem

8 וְ/גַ֣ם 𐤅/𐤂𐤌 vegam and also HC/Ta בִּ֠/ירוּשָׁלִַם 𐤁/𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌 birushalaim in Jerusalem HR/Np הֶעֱמִ֨יד 𐤄𐤏𐤌𐤉𐤃 heemid he appointed HVhp3ms יְהוֹשָׁפָ֜ט 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤐𐤈 yehoshafat Jehoshaphat HNp מִן 𐤌𐤍 min from HR הַ/לְוִיִּ֣ם 𐤄/𐤋𐤅𐤉𐤌 haleviyim the Levites HTd/Ngmpa וְ/הַ/כֹּהֲנִ֗ים 𐤅/𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍𐤉𐤌 vehakohanim and the priests HC/Td/Ncmpa וּ/מֵ/רָאשֵׁ֤י 𐤅/𐤌/𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤉 umerashey and from heads HC/R/Ncmpc הָ/אָבוֹת֙ 𐤄/𐤀𐤁𐤅𐤕 haavot of the fathers HTd/Ncmpa לְ/יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל 𐤋/𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 leyiserael of Israel HR/Np לְ/מִשְׁפַּ֥ט 𐤋/𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤈 lemishepat for judgment HR/Ncmsc יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp וְ/לָ/רִ֑יב 𐤅/𐤋/𐤓𐤉𐤁 velariv and for strife HC/Rd/Ncbsa וַ/יָּשֻׁ֖בוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤁𐤅 vayashuvu and they returned HC/Vqw3mp יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם 𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌 yerushalaim to Jerusalem HNp

and he charged them saying Thus you shall do in the fear of YHWH faithfully and with heart perfect

9 וַ/יְצַ֥ו 𐤅/𐤉𐤑𐤅 vayetsav and he charged HC/Vpw3ms עֲלֵי/הֶ֖ם 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄𐤌 aleyhem them HR/Sp3mp לֵ/אמֹ֑ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc כֹּ֤ה 𐤊𐤄 koh Thus HD תַעֲשׂוּ/ן֙ 𐤕𐤏𐤔𐤅/𐤍 taasun you shall do HVqi2mp/Sn בְּ/יִרְאַ֣ת 𐤁/𐤉𐤓𐤀𐤕 beyireat in the fear of HR/Ncfsc יְהוָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp בֶּ/אֱמוּנָ֖ה 𐤁/𐤀𐤌𐤅𐤍𐤄 beemunah faithfully HR/Ncfsa וּ/בְ/לֵבָ֥ב 𐤅/𐤁/𐤋𐤁𐤁 uvelevav and with heart HC/R/Ncmsa שָׁלֵֽם 𐤔𐤋𐤌 shalem perfect HAamsa

and every dispute that comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities between blood and blood between law and commandment statutes and judgments you shall warn them that not they be guilty before YHWH and there will be wrath upon you and upon your brothers thus you shall do and not you shall be guilty

10 וְ/כָל 𐤅/𐤊𐤋 vekhal and every HC/Ncmsc רִיב֩ 𐤓𐤉𐤁 riv dispute HNcbsa אֲשֶׁר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr יָב֨וֹא 𐤉𐤁𐤅𐤀 yavo comes HVqi3ms עֲלֵי/כֶ֜ם 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤊𐤌 aleykhem to you HR/Sp2mp מֵ/אֲחֵי/כֶ֣ם 𐤌/𐤀𐤇𐤉/𐤊𐤌 meacheykhem from your brothers HR/Ncmpc/Sp2mp הַ/יֹּשְׁבִ֣ים 𐤄/𐤉𐤔𐤁𐤉𐤌 hayoshevim who dwell HTd/Vqrmpa בְּ/עָרֵי/הֶ֗ם 𐤁/𐤏𐤓𐤉/𐤄𐤌 beareyhem in their cities HR/Ncfpc/Sp3mp בֵּֽין 𐤁𐤉𐤍 beyn between HR דָּ֣ם 𐤃𐤌 dam blood HNcmsa לְ/דָם֮ 𐤋/𐤃𐤌 ledam and blood HR/Ncmsa בֵּין 𐤁𐤉𐤍 beyn-2 between HR תּוֹרָ֣ה 𐤕𐤅𐤓𐤄 torah law HNcfsa לְ/מִצְוָה֮ 𐤋/𐤌𐤑𐤅𐤄 lemitsevah and commandment HR/Ncfsa לְ/חֻקִּ֣ים 𐤋/𐤇𐤒𐤉𐤌 lechuqim statutes HR/Ncmpa וּ/לְ/מִשְׁפָּטִים֒ 𐤅/𐤋/𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤈𐤉𐤌 ulemishepatim and judgments HC/R/Ncmpa וְ/הִזְהַרְתֶּ֣ם 𐤅/𐤄𐤆𐤄𐤓𐤕𐤌 vehizeharetem you shall warn HC/Vhq2mp אֹתָ֔/ם 𐤀𐤕/𐤌 otam them HTo/Sp3mp וְ/לֹ֤א 𐤅/𐤋𐤀 velo that not HC/Tn יֶאְשְׁמוּ֙ 𐤉𐤀𐤔𐤌𐤅 yeeshemu they be guilty HVqi3mp לַ/יהוָ֔ה 𐤋/𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 layhvah Nyambe (Lozi) before YHWH HR/Np וְ/הָֽיָה 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤄 vehayah and there will be HC/Vqp3ms קֶ֥צֶף 𐤒𐤑𐤐 qetsef wrath HNcmsa עֲלֵי/כֶ֖ם 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤊𐤌 aleykhem-2 upon you HR/Sp2mp וְ/עַל 𐤅/𐤏𐤋 veal and upon HC/R אֲחֵי/כֶ֑ם 𐤀𐤇𐤉/𐤊𐤌 acheykhem your brothers HNcmpc/Sp2mp כֹּ֥ה 𐤊𐤄 koh thus HD תַעֲשׂ֖וּ/ן 𐤕𐤏𐤔𐤅/𐤍 taasun you shall do HVqi2mp/Sn וְ/לֹ֥א 𐤅/𐤋𐤀 velo-2 and not HC/Tn תֶאְשָֽׁמוּ 𐤕𐤀𐤔𐤌𐤅 teeshamu you shall be guilty HVqi2mp

And behold Amariah the chief priest the head over you in all matters YHWH and Zebadiah son of Ishmael the ruler of the house of Judah in all matters of the king and officers the Levites before you Deal courageously and do may be YHWH with the good
