Deuteronomy 26

Upon entering the land, Israel must present **firstfruits** to the priest at YHWH's chosen place, reciting a creed recounting their ancestry's affliction in Egypt, YHWH's deliverance, and gratitude for the land flowing with milk and honey. In the third year, they declare faithful tithing to Levites, strangers, orphans, and widows, affirming obedience to YHWH's commandments and requesting His blessing on the people and land.

When for (as reason or ground) you have finished you have brought to full completion to tithe to give a tenth (direct object marker) (definite object-marker) all whole-of the tithe tenth-portion-of of your produce your ingathered yield in the year in the year-cycle third the third (feminine singular) year cycle-year of of tithing the tenth-portion and you shall give and you shall give to the Levite to the Joined-one (Levite) to the stranger for the sojourning-guest to the fatherless for the fatherless one and to the widow and for the bereft-woman and they shall eat and they ate in your gates in your gate-openings and be satisfied and they were filled to satisfaction
