in the seventh month on the twentieth and one of the month came the word of YHWH by the hand of Haggai the prophet saying

1 בַּ/שְּׁבִיעִ֕י 𐤁/𐤔𐤁𐤉𐤏𐤉 bashevii in the seventh month HRd/Aomsa בְּ/עֶשְׂרִ֥ים 𐤁/𐤏𐤔𐤓𐤉𐤌 beeserim on the twentieth HR/Acbpa וְ/אֶחָ֖ד 𐤅/𐤀𐤇𐤃 veechad Eka (Bemba) and one HC/Acmsa לַ/חֹ֑דֶשׁ 𐤋/𐤇𐤃𐤔 lachodesh Umwenshi (Bemba) of the month HRd/Ncmsa הָיָה֙ 𐤄𐤉𐤄 hayah came HVqp3ms דְּבַר 𐤃𐤁𐤓 devar the word HNcmsc יְהוָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) of YHWH HNp בְּ/יַד 𐤁/𐤉𐤃 beyad by the hand of HR/Ncbsc חַגַּ֥י 𐤇𐤂𐤉 chagay Haggai HNp הַ/נָּבִ֖יא 𐤄/𐤍𐤁𐤉𐤀 hanavi the prophet HTd/Ncmsa לֵ/אמֹֽר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc

speak now to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel governor of Judah and to Joshua son of Jehozadak the priest the great and to remnant of the people saying

Who among you is left who saw this house this in its glory former And how you see it now not like it nothing in your eyes

but now be strong Zerubbabel declares YHWH and be strong Joshua son Jehozadak the priest the great and be strong all people of the land declares YHWH and work for I with you declares YHWH of hosts

to me the silver and to me the gold declares YHWH of Hosts

8 לִ֥/י 𐤋/𐤉 li to me HR/Sp1cs הַ/כֶּ֖סֶף 𐤄/𐤊𐤎𐤐 hakesef the silver HTd/Ncmsa וְ/לִ֣/י 𐤅/𐤋/𐤉 veli and to me HC/R/Sp1cs הַ/זָּהָ֑ב 𐤄/𐤆𐤄𐤁 hazahav the gold HTd/Ncmsa נְאֻ֖ם 𐤍𐤀𐤌 neum declares HNcmsc יְהוָ֥ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp צְבָאֽוֹת 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 tsevaot of Hosts HNcbpa

greater will be glory of this house this latter than the former says YHWH of hosts and in the place this I will give peace declares YHWH of hosts

9 גָּד֣וֹל 𐤂𐤃𐤅𐤋 gadol greater HAamsa יִֽהְיֶ֡ה 𐤉𐤄𐤉𐤄 yiheyeh will be HVqi3ms כְּבוֹד֩ 𐤊𐤁𐤅𐤃 kevod glory HNcbsc הַ/בַּ֨יִת 𐤄/𐤁𐤉𐤕 habayit of this house HTd/Ncmsa הַ/זֶּ֤ה 𐤄/𐤆𐤄 hazeh this HTd/Pdxms הָ/אַֽחֲרוֹן֙ 𐤄/𐤀𐤇𐤓𐤅𐤍 haacharon latter HTd/Aamsa מִן 𐤌𐤍 min than HR הָ֣/רִאשׁ֔וֹן 𐤄/𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤅𐤍 harishon the former HTd/Aomsa אָמַ֖ר 𐤀𐤌𐤓 amar says HVqp3ms יְהוָ֣ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp צְבָא֑וֹת 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 tsevaot of hosts HNcbpa וּ/בַ/מָּק֤וֹם 𐤅/𐤁/𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤌 uvamaqom and in the place HC/Rd/Ncmsa הַ/זֶּה֙ 𐤄/𐤆𐤄 hazeh-2 this HTd/Pdxms אֶתֵּ֣ן 𐤀𐤕𐤍 eten I will give HVqi1cs שָׁל֔וֹם 𐤔𐤋𐤅𐤌 shalom peace HNcmsa נְאֻ֖ם 𐤍𐤀𐤌 neum declares HNcmsc יְהוָ֥ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp צְבָאֽוֹת 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 tsevaot-2 of hosts HNcbpa

in twenty and-four to-the-ninth in-year two to-Darius was word YHWH to Haggai the-prophet saying

If one carries a man flesh holy in the fold of his garment and touches with his fold to the bread or to the stew or to the wine or to oil or to any food will it become holy? And they answered the priests and said No

12 הֵ֣ן 𐤄𐤍 hen If HTm יִשָּׂא 𐤉𐤔𐤀 yisa one carries HVqi3ms אִ֨ישׁ 𐤀𐤉𐤔 ish a man HNcmsa בְּשַׂר 𐤁𐤔𐤓 besar flesh HNcmsc קֹ֜דֶשׁ 𐤒𐤃𐤔 qodesh holy HNcmsa בִּ/כְנַ֣ף 𐤁/𐤊𐤍𐤐 bikhenaf in the fold of HR/Ncfsc בִּגְד֗/וֹ 𐤁𐤂𐤃/𐤅 bigedo his garment HNcmsc/Sp3ms וְ/נָגַ֣ע 𐤅/𐤍𐤂𐤏 venaga and touches HC/Vqp3ms בִּ֠/כְנָפ/וֹ 𐤁/𐤊𐤍𐤐/𐤅 bikhenafo with his fold HR/Ncfsc/Sp3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הַ/לֶּ֨חֶם 𐤄/𐤋𐤇𐤌 halechem the bread HTd/Ncbsa וְ/אֶל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel or to HC/R הַ/נָּזִ֜יד 𐤄/𐤍𐤆𐤉𐤃 hanazid the stew HTd/Ncmsa וְ/אֶל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel-2 or to HC/R הַ/יַּ֧יִן 𐤄/𐤉𐤉𐤍 hayayin the wine HTd/Ncmsa וְ/אֶל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel-3 or to HC/R שֶׁ֛מֶן 𐤔𐤌𐤍 shemen oil HNcmsa וְ/אֶל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel-4 or to HC/R כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal any HNcmsc מַאֲכָ֖ל 𐤌𐤀𐤊𐤋 maakhal food HNcmsa הֲ/יִקְדָּ֑שׁ 𐤄/𐤉𐤒𐤃𐤔 hayiqedash will it become holy? HTi/Vqi3ms וַ/יַּעֲנ֧וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤍𐤅 vayaanu And they answered HC/Vqw3mp הַ/כֹּהֲנִ֛ים 𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍𐤉𐤌 hakohanim the priests HTd/Ncmpa וַ/יֹּאמְר֖וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓𐤅 vayomeru and said HC/Vqw3mp לֹֽא 𐤋𐤀 lo No HTn

Then said Haggai If touches unclean person in all these will it become unclean? And answered the priests and said It will become unclean

13 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer Then said HC/Vqw3ms חַגַּ֔י 𐤇𐤂𐤉 chagay Haggai HNp אִם 𐤀𐤌 im If HC יִגַּ֧ע 𐤉𐤂𐤏 yiga touches HVqi3ms טְמֵא 𐤈𐤌𐤀 teme unclean HAamsc נֶ֛פֶשׁ 𐤍𐤐𐤔 nefesh person HNcbsa בְּ/כָל 𐤁/𐤊𐤋 bekhal in all HR/Ncmsc אֵ֖לֶּה 𐤀𐤋𐤄 eleh these HPdxcp הֲ/יִטְמָ֑א 𐤄/𐤉𐤈𐤌𐤀 hayitema will it become unclean? HTi/Vqi3ms וַ/יַּעֲנ֧וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤍𐤅 vayaanu And answered HC/Vqw3mp הַ/כֹּהֲנִ֛ים 𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍𐤉𐤌 hakohanim the priests HTd/Ncmpa וַ/יֹּאמְר֖וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓𐤅 vayomeru and said HC/Vqw3mp יִטְמָֽא 𐤉𐤈𐤌𐤀 yitema It will become unclean HVqi3ms

Then answered Haggai and said So the people this and so the nation this before me declaration YHWH and so every work of their hands and that which they offer there unclean it
