Leviticus 17

Leviticus 17 mandates that all blood sacrifices must be brought to the tent of meeting to YHWH, prohibiting the consumption of blood, which is the life of the flesh, and forbidding eating meat with blood or carcasses of animals torn by beasts.[3]

4 וְ/אֶל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel and to HC/R פֶּ֜תַח 𐤐𐤕𐤇 petach entrance HNcmsc אֹ֣הֶל 𐤀𐤄𐤋 ohel of the tent HNcmsc מוֹעֵד֮ 𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃 moed of meeting HNcmsa לֹ֣א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn הֱבִיא/וֹ֒ 𐤄𐤁𐤉𐤀/𐤅 hevio brought it HVhp3ms/Sp3ms לְ/הַקְרִ֤יב 𐤋/𐤄𐤒𐤓𐤉𐤁 lehaqeriv to present HR/Vhc קָרְבָּן֙ 𐤒𐤓𐤁𐤍 qareban offering HNcmsa לַֽ/יהוָ֔ה 𐤋/𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 layhvah Nyambe (Lozi) to YHWH HR/Np לִ/פְנֵ֖י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc מִשְׁכַּ֣ן 𐤌𐤔𐤊𐤍 mishekan tabernacle HNcmsc יְהוָ֑ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp דָּ֣ם 𐤃𐤌 dam blood HNcmsa יֵחָשֵׁ֞ב 𐤉𐤇𐤔𐤁 yechashev shall be reckoned HVNi3ms לָ/אִ֤ישׁ 𐤋/𐤀𐤉𐤔 laish to the man HRd/Ncmsa הַ/הוּא֙ 𐤄/𐤄𐤅𐤀 hahu that HTd/Pp3ms דָּ֣ם 𐤃𐤌 dam-2 blood HNcmsa שָׁפָ֔ךְ 𐤔𐤐𐤊 shafakhe he has shed HVqp3ms וְ/נִכְרַ֛ת 𐤅/𐤍𐤊𐤓𐤕 venikherat and shall be cut off HC/VNq3ms הָ/אִ֥ישׁ 𐤄/𐤀𐤉𐤔 haish the man HTd/Ncmsa הַ/ה֖וּא 𐤄/𐤄𐤅𐤀 hahu-2 that HTd/Pp3ms מִ/קֶּ֥רֶב 𐤌/𐤒𐤓𐤁 miqerev from midst HR/Ncmsc עַמּֽ/וֹ 𐤏𐤌/𐤅 amo of his people HNcmsc/Sp3ms
in order that that they may bring sons of Israel (direct object marker) their sacrifices which they are sacrificing on face of the field and bring them to YHWH to entrance of tent of meeting to the priest and they shall sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings to YHWH them
5 לְמַעַן֩ 𐤋𐤌𐤏𐤍 lemaan in order that HR אֲשֶׁ֨ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr יָבִ֜יאוּ 𐤉𐤁𐤉𐤀𐤅 yaviu they may bring HVhi3mp בְּנֵ֣י 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) sons of HNcmpc יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp אֶֽת 𐤀𐤕 et (direct object marker) HTo זִבְחֵי/הֶם֮ 𐤆𐤁𐤇𐤉/𐤄𐤌 zivecheyhem their sacrifices HNcmpc/Sp3mp אֲשֶׁ֣ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher-2 which HTr הֵ֣ם 𐤄𐤌 hem they HPp3mp זֹבְחִים֮ 𐤆𐤁𐤇𐤉𐤌 zovechim are sacrificing HVqrmpa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR פְּנֵ֣י 𐤐𐤍𐤉 peney face of HNcbpc הַ/שָּׂדֶה֒ 𐤄/𐤔𐤃𐤄 hasadeh the field HTd/Ncmsa וֶֽ/הֱבִיאֻ֣/ם 𐤅/𐤄𐤁𐤉𐤀/𐤌 vehevium and bring them HC/Vhq3cp/Sp3mp לַֽ/יהוָ֗ה 𐤋/𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 layhvah Nyambe (Lozi) to YHWH HR/Np אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR פֶּ֛תַח 𐤐𐤕𐤇 petach entrance of HNcmsc אֹ֥הֶל 𐤀𐤄𐤋 ohel tent of HNcmsc מוֹעֵ֖ד 𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃 moed meeting HNcmsa אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el-2 to HR הַ/כֹּהֵ֑ן 𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍 hakohen the priest HTd/Ncmsa וְ/זָ֨בְח֜וּ 𐤅/𐤆𐤁𐤇𐤅 vezavechu and they shall sacrifice HC/Vqq3cp זִבְחֵ֧י 𐤆𐤁𐤇𐤉 zivechey sacrifices of HNcmpc שְׁלָמִ֛ים 𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤌 shelamim peace offerings HNcmpa לַֽ/יהוָ֖ה 𐤋/𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 layhvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) to YHWH HR/Np אוֹתָֽ/ם 𐤀𐤅𐤕/𐤌 otam them HTo/Sp3mp
