1 Chronicles 22

David commands the gathering of aliens and materials like iron, bronze, and cedar trees to prepare for building the house of God, then charges young Solomon to construct it, recalling YHWH's prohibition due to David's bloodshed and promise that Solomon will be a man of rest to build for YHWH's name.[1][2][3] David urges Solomon to be strong, courageous, obey YHWH's law to prosper, details vast preparations of gold, silver, and workers, and rallies Israel's leaders to seek YHWH and support the sanctuary for the ark.[1][2][4]

Behold a son will be born to you he shall be a man of rest and I will give rest to him from all his enemies on every side for Solomon shall be his name and peace and quiet I will give to Israel in his days
