2 Samuel 7

And it came to pass when the king sat the king in his house and YHWH had given rest to him from around from all his enemies

1 וַ/יְהִ֕י 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi And it came to pass HC/Vqw3ms כִּי 𐤊𐤉 ki when HC יָשַׁ֥ב 𐤉𐤔𐤁 yashav the king sat HVqp3ms הַ/מֶּ֖לֶךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤊 hamelekhe the king HTd/Ncmsa בְּ/בֵית֑/וֹ 𐤁/𐤁𐤉𐤕/𐤅 beveyto in his house HR/Ncmsc/Sp3ms וַ/יהוָ֛ה 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 vayhvah Nyambe (Lozi) and YHWH HC/Np הֵנִֽיחַ 𐤄𐤍𐤉𐤇 henicha had given rest HVhp3ms ל֥/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo to him HR/Sp3ms מִ/סָּבִ֖יב 𐤌/𐤎𐤁𐤉𐤁 misaviv from around HR/Ncbsa מִ/כָּל 𐤌/𐤊𐤋 mikal from all HR/Ncmsc אֹיְבָֽי/ו 𐤀𐤉𐤁𐤉/𐤅 oyevayv his enemies HVqrmpc/Sp3ms

and said the king to Nathan the prophet see now I dwell in a house of cedars while the ark of God dwells within curtains

And said Nathan to the king all that in your heart Go do for YHWH with you

and it came to pass in the night that and it came to pass word YHWH to Nathan saying

4 וַ/יְהִ֖י 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi and it came to pass HC/Vqw3ms בַּ/לַּ֣יְלָה 𐤁/𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄 balayelah in the night HRd/Ncmsa הַ/ה֑וּא 𐤄/𐤄𐤅𐤀 hahu that HTd/Pp3ms וַֽ/יְהִי֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi-2 and it came to pass HC/Vqw3ms דְּבַר 𐤃𐤁𐤓 devar word HNcmsc יְהוָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR נָתָ֖ן 𐤍𐤕𐤍 natan Nathan HNp לֵ/אמֹֽר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc

Go and-say to my-servant to David Thus says YHWH you will-build for-me a-house for-my-dwelling

for not have I dwelt in a house from the day I brought up [direct object marker] sons of Israel from Egypt and until the day this and I have been walking in a tent and in a tabernacle

Now therefore thus you shall say to my servant to David Thus says YHWH of hosts I took you from the pasture from following the sheep to be ruler over my people over Israel

and I have been with you in all where you went and I have cut off [direct object marker] all your enemies from before you and I will make for you a name great like the name of the great ones who of the earth

and I will appoint a place for my people for Israel and I will plant it and it will dwell under it and no will disturb anymore and no will continue sons of iniquity to afflict him as in former times

and-from the-day that I-commanded judges over my-people Israel and-I-have-given-rest to-you from-all your-enemies and-declares to-you YHWH that house He-will-make for-you YHWH

11 וּ/לְ/מִן 𐤅/𐤋/𐤌𐤍 ulemin and-from HC/R/R הַ/יּ֗וֹם 𐤄/𐤉𐤅𐤌 hayom the-day HTd/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁ֨ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr צִוִּ֤יתִי 𐤑𐤅𐤉𐤕𐤉 tsiviti I-commanded HVpp1cs שֹֽׁפְטִים֙ 𐤔𐤐𐤈𐤉𐤌 shofetim judges HVqrmpa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al over HR עַמִּ֣/י 𐤏𐤌/𐤉 ami my-people HNcmsc/Sp1cs יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp וַ/הֲנִיחֹ֥תִי 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤉𐤇𐤕𐤉 vahanichoti and-I-have-given-rest HC/Vhq1cs לְ/ךָ֖ 𐤋/𐤊 lekha to-you HR/Sp2ms מִ/כָּל 𐤌/𐤊𐤋 mikal from-all HR/Ncmsc אֹיְבֶ֑י/ךָ 𐤀𐤉𐤁𐤉/𐤊 oyeveykha your-enemies HVqrmpc/Sp2ms וְ/הִגִּ֤יד 𐤅/𐤄𐤂𐤉𐤃 vehigid and-declares HC/Vhq3ms לְ/ךָ֙ 𐤋/𐤊 lekha-2 to-you HR/Sp2ms יְהוָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp כִּי 𐤊𐤉 ki that HC בַ֖יִת 𐤁𐤉𐤕 vayit house HNcmsa יַעֲשֶׂה 𐤉𐤏𐤔𐤄 yaaseh He-will-make HVqi3ms לְּ/ךָ֥ 𐤋/𐤊 lekha-3 for-you HR/Sp2ms יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

When are fulfilled your days and you shall sleep with your fathers I will raise up your seed after you who shall come from your body I will establish his kingdom

12 כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki When HC יִמְלְא֣וּ 𐤉𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤅 yimeleu are fulfilled HVqi3mp יָמֶ֗י/ךָ 𐤉𐤌𐤉/𐤊 yameykha your days HNcmpc/Sp2ms וְ/שָֽׁכַבְתָּ֙ 𐤅/𐤔𐤊𐤁𐤕 veshakhaveta and you shall sleep HC/Vqq2ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et with HR אֲבֹתֶ֔י/ךָ 𐤀𐤁𐤕𐤉/𐤊 avoteykha your fathers HNcmpc/Sp2ms וַ/הֲקִימֹתִ֤י 𐤅/𐤄𐤒𐤉𐤌𐤕𐤉 vahaqimoti I will raise up HC/Vhq1cs אֶֽת 𐤀𐤕 et-2 your HTo זַרְעֲ/ךָ֙ 𐤆𐤓𐤏/𐤊 zareakha seed HNcmsc/Sp2ms אַחֲרֶ֔י/ךָ 𐤀𐤇𐤓𐤉/𐤊 achareykha after you HR/Sp2ms אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher who HTr יֵצֵ֖א 𐤉𐤑𐤀 yetse shall come HVqi3ms מִ/מֵּעֶ֑י/ךָ 𐤌/𐤌𐤏𐤉/𐤊 mimeeykha from your body HR/Ncmpc/Sp2ms וַ/הֲכִינֹתִ֖י 𐤅/𐤄𐤊𐤉𐤍𐤕𐤉 vahakhinoti I will establish HC/Vhq1cs אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et-3 his HTo מַמְלַכְתּֽ/וֹ 𐤌𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤕/𐤅 mamelakheto kingdom HNcfsc/Sp3ms

He shall build a house for My name and I will establish [direct object marker] the throne of his kingdom forever

13 ה֥וּא 𐤄𐤅𐤀 hu He HPp3ms יִבְנֶה 𐤉𐤁𐤍𐤄 yiveneh shall build HVqi3ms בַּ֖יִת 𐤁𐤉𐤕 bayit a house HNcmsa לִ/שְׁמִ֑/י 𐤋/𐤔𐤌/𐤉 lishemi for My name HR/Ncmsc/Sp1cs וְ/כֹנַנְתִּ֛י 𐤅/𐤊𐤍𐤍𐤕𐤉 vekhonaneti and I will establish HC/Voq1cs אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo כִּסֵּ֥א 𐤊𐤎𐤀 kise the throne HNcmsc מַמְלַכְתּ֖/וֹ 𐤌𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤕/𐤅 mamelakheto of his kingdom HNcfsc/Sp3ms עַד 𐤏𐤃 ad forever HR עוֹלָֽם 𐤏𐤅𐤋𐤌 olam HNcmsa

I will be to him a father and he will be to me a son when/if he sins I will correct him with rod of men and with strokes of sons of man
