Deuteronomy 22

you shall not see [direct object marker] ox your brother or [direct object marker] his sheep straying and hide yourself from them bring back you shall return them to your brother

1 לֹֽא 𐤋𐤀 lo you shall not HTn תִרְאֶה֩ 𐤕𐤓𐤀𐤄 tireeh see HVqi2ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo שׁ֨וֹר 𐤔𐤅𐤓 shor ox HNcmsc אָחִ֜י/ךָ 𐤀𐤇𐤉/𐤊 achikha your brother HNcmsc/Sp2ms א֤וֹ 𐤀𐤅 o or HC אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et-2 [direct object marker] HTo שֵׂי/וֹ֙ 𐤔𐤉/𐤅 seyo his sheep HNcbsc/Sp3ms נִדָּחִ֔ים 𐤍𐤃𐤇𐤉𐤌 nidachim straying HVNrmpa וְ/הִתְעַלַּמְתָּ֖ 𐤅/𐤄𐤕𐤏𐤋𐤌𐤕 vehitealameta and hide yourself HC/Vtq2ms מֵ/הֶ֑ם 𐤌/𐤄𐤌 mehem from them HR/Sp3mp הָשֵׁ֥ב 𐤄𐤔𐤁 hashev bring back HVha תְּשִׁיבֵ֖/ם 𐤕𐤔𐤉𐤁/𐤌 teshivem you shall return them HVhi2ms/Sp3mp לְ/אָחִֽי/ךָ 𐤋/𐤀𐤇𐤉/𐤊 leachikha to your brother HR/Ncmsc/Sp2ms

and-if not near your-brother to-you and-not you-know-him and-you-gather-it to midst your-house and-it-will-be with-you until seeks your-brother it and-you-return-it to-him

2 וְ/אִם 𐤅/𐤀𐤌 veim and-if HC/C לֹ֨א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn קָר֥וֹב 𐤒𐤓𐤅𐤁 qarov near HAamsa אָחִ֛י/ךָ 𐤀𐤇𐤉/𐤊 achikha your-brother HNcmsc/Sp2ms אֵלֶ֖י/ךָ 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤊 eleykha to-you HR/Sp2ms וְ/לֹ֣א 𐤅/𐤋𐤀 velo and-not HC/Tn יְדַעְתּ֑/וֹ 𐤉𐤃𐤏𐤕/𐤅 yedaeto you-know-him HVqp2ms/Sp3ms וַ/אֲסַפְתּ/וֹ֙ 𐤅/𐤀𐤎𐤐𐤕/𐤅 vaasafeto and-you-gather-it HC/Vqq2ms/Sp3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR תּ֣וֹךְ 𐤕𐤅𐤊 tokhe midst HNcmsc בֵּיתֶ֔/ךָ 𐤁𐤉𐤕/𐤊 beytekha your-house HNcmsc/Sp2ms וְ/הָיָ֣ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤄 vehayah and-it-will-be HC/Vqq3ms עִמְּ/ךָ֗ 𐤏𐤌/𐤊 imekha with-you HR/Sp2ms עַ֣ד 𐤏𐤃 ad until HR דְּרֹ֤שׁ 𐤃𐤓𐤔 derosh seeks HVqc אָחִ֨י/ךָ֙ 𐤀𐤇𐤉/𐤊 achikha-2 your-brother HNcmsc/Sp2ms אֹת֔/וֹ 𐤀𐤕/𐤅 oto it HTo/Sp3ms וַ/הֲשֵׁבֹת֖/וֹ 𐤅/𐤄𐤔𐤁𐤕/𐤅 vahashevoto and-you-return-it HC/Vhq2ms/Sp3ms לֽ/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo-2 to-him HR/Sp3ms

and so you shall do with his donkey and so you shall do with his garment and so you shall do with every lost thing of your brother which he has lost from him and you have found it not you may hide yourself

not you shall see direct object marker donkey your brother’s or his ox fallen on the way and ignore from them raise up you shall raise with him

not shall be article of a man on a woman and not shall put on a man garment of a woman for abomination YHWH your God all who does these things

If you come across a nest of a bird before you on the road in any tree or on the ground young ones or eggs and the mother sitting upon the young or upon the eggs not shall you take the mother with the young

When you build a house new then you shall make a parapet for your roof that you do not bring bloodguilt on your house if falls the one who falls from it

8 כִּ֤י 𐤊𐤉 ki When HC תִבְנֶה֙ 𐤕𐤁𐤍𐤄 tiveneh you build HVqi2ms בַּ֣יִת 𐤁𐤉𐤕 bayit a house HNcmsa חָדָ֔שׁ 𐤇𐤃𐤔 chadash new HAamsa וְ/עָשִׂ֥יתָ 𐤅/𐤏𐤔𐤉𐤕 veasita then you shall make HC/Vqq2ms מַעֲקֶ֖ה 𐤌𐤏𐤒𐤄 maaqeh a parapet HNcmsa לְ/גַגֶּ֑/ךָ 𐤋/𐤂𐤂/𐤊 legagekha for your roof HR/Ncmsc/Sp2ms וְ/לֹֽא 𐤅/𐤋𐤀 velo that you do not HC/Tn תָשִׂ֤ים 𐤕𐤔𐤉𐤌 tasim bring HVqi2ms דָּמִים֙ 𐤃𐤌𐤉𐤌 damim bloodguilt HNcmpa בְּ/בֵיתֶ֔/ךָ 𐤁/𐤁𐤉𐤕/𐤊 beveytekha on your house HR/Ncmsc/Sp2ms כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki-2 if HC יִפֹּ֥ל 𐤉𐤐𐤋 yipol falls HVqi3ms הַ/נֹּפֵ֖ל 𐤄/𐤍𐤐𐤋 hanofel the one who falls HTd/Vqrmsa מִמֶּֽ/נּוּ 𐤌𐤌/𐤍𐤅 mimenu from it HR/Sp3ms

not you shall sow your vineyard with two kinds lest it become holy the fullness the seed which you sow and the produce of the vineyard

9 לֹא 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn תִזְרַ֥ע 𐤕𐤆𐤓𐤏 tizera you shall sow HVqi2ms כַּרְמְ/ךָ֖ 𐤊𐤓𐤌/𐤊 karemekha your vineyard HNcbsc/Sp2ms כִּלְאָ֑יִם 𐤊𐤋𐤀𐤉𐤌 kileayim with two kinds HNcmda פֶּן 𐤐𐤍 pen lest HC תִּקְדַּ֗שׁ 𐤕𐤒𐤃𐤔 tiqedash it become holy HVqi2fs הַֽ/מְלֵאָ֤ה 𐤄/𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤄 hameleah the fullness HTd/Ncfsa הַ/זֶּ֨רַע֙ 𐤄/𐤆𐤓𐤏 hazera the seed HTd/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁ֣ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr תִּזְרָ֔ע 𐤕𐤆𐤓𐤏 tizera-2 you sow HVqi2ms וּ/תְבוּאַ֖ת 𐤅/𐤕𐤁𐤅𐤀𐤕 utevuat and the produce HC/Ncfsc הַ/כָּֽרֶם 𐤄/𐤊𐤓𐤌 hakarem of the vineyard HTd/Ncbsa

not you shall plow with ox and with a donkey together

10 לֹֽא 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn תַחֲרֹ֥שׁ 𐤕𐤇𐤓𐤔 tacharosh you shall plow HVqi2ms בְּ/שׁוֹר 𐤁/𐤔𐤅𐤓 beshor with ox HR/Ncmsa וּ/בַ/חֲמֹ֖ר 𐤅/𐤁/𐤇𐤌𐤓 uvachamor and with a donkey HC/R/Ncbsa יַחְדָּֽו 𐤉𐤇𐤃𐤅 yachedav together HD

not you shall wear a garment of divers sorts wool and linen together

11 לֹ֤א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn תִלְבַּשׁ֙ 𐤕𐤋𐤁𐤔 tilebash you shall wear HVqi2ms שַֽׁעַטְנֵ֔ז 𐤔𐤏𐤈𐤍𐤆 shaatenez a garment of divers sorts HNcmsa צֶ֥מֶר 𐤑𐤌𐤓 tsemer wool HNcmsa וּ/פִשְׁתִּ֖ים 𐤅/𐤐𐤔𐤕𐤉𐤌 ufishetim and linen HC/Ncmpa יַחְדָּֽו 𐤉𐤇𐤃𐤅 yachedav together HD

tassels you-shall-make for-yourself on four corners your-garment which you-cover yourself

12 גְּדִלִ֖ים 𐤂𐤃𐤋𐤉𐤌 gedilim tassels HNcmpa תַּעֲשֶׂה 𐤕𐤏𐤔𐤄 taaseh you-shall-make HVqi2ms לָּ֑/ךְ 𐤋/𐤊 lakhe for-yourself HR/Sp2fs עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR אַרְבַּ֛ע 𐤀𐤓𐤁𐤏 areba four HAcfsa כַּנְפ֥וֹת 𐤊𐤍𐤐𐤅𐤕 kanefot corners HNcfpc כְּסוּתְ/ךָ֖ 𐤊𐤎𐤅𐤕/𐤊 kesutekha your-garment HNcfsc/Sp2ms אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr תְּכַסֶּה 𐤕𐤊𐤎𐤄 tekhaseh you-cover HVpi2ms בָּֽ/הּ 𐤁/𐤄 bah yourself HR/Sp3fs

If a man takes a man a wife and goes in to her and hates her

And he shall say father-of-me the girl the young woman to the elders [direct object marker] my daughter I gave to man this for a wife and he hated her

28 כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki If HC יִמְצָ֣א 𐤉𐤌𐤑𐤀 yimetsa finds HVqi3ms אִ֗ישׁ 𐤀𐤉𐤔 ish a man HNcmsa נער 𐤍𐤏𐤓 nr young HNcfsa נַעֲרָ֤ה 𐤍𐤏𐤓𐤄 naarah woman HNcfsa בְתוּלָה֙ 𐤁𐤕𐤅𐤋𐤄 vetulah who is a virgin HNcfsa אֲשֶׁ֣ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher who HTr לֹא 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn אֹרָ֔שָׂה 𐤀𐤓𐤔𐤄 orasah betrothed HVPp3fs וּ/תְפָשָׂ֖/הּ 𐤅/𐤕𐤐𐤔/𐤄 utefasah and seizes her HC/Vqq3ms/Sp3fs וְ/שָׁכַ֣ב 𐤅/𐤔𐤊𐤁 veshakhav and lies HC/Vqq3ms עִמָּ֑/הּ 𐤏𐤌/𐤄 imah with her HR/Sp3fs וְ/נִמְצָֽאוּ 𐤅/𐤍𐤌𐤑𐤀𐤅 venimetsau and they are found HC/VNq3cp

and he shall give the man who lay with her to the father of the girl the young woman fifty shekels of silver and to him she shall be a wife because that he has violated her not he may divorce her all his days
