Leviticus 9

And it was on the day the eighth called Moses to Aaron and to his sons and to the elders of Israel

1 וַ/יְהִי֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi And it was HC/Vqw3ms בַּ/יּ֣וֹם 𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 bayom on the day HRd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁמִינִ֔י 𐤄/𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤉 hashemini the eighth HTd/Aomsa קָרָ֣א 𐤒𐤓𐤀 qara called HVqp3ms מֹשֶׁ֔ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp לְ/אַהֲרֹ֖ן 𐤋/𐤀𐤄𐤓𐤍 leaharon to Aaron HR/Np וּ/לְ/בָנָ֑י/ו 𐤅/𐤋/𐤁𐤍𐤉/𐤅 ulevanayv Bene (Bemba) and to his sons HC/R/Ncmpc/Sp3ms וּ/לְ/זִקְנֵ֖י 𐤅/𐤋/𐤆𐤒𐤍𐤉 uleziqeney and to the elders HC/R/Aampc יִשְׂרָאֵֽל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael of Israel HNp

And he said to Aaron Take for yourself a calf son of cattle for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering without blemish and present before YHWH

2 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And he said HC/Vqw3ms אֶֽל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR אַהֲרֹ֗ן 𐤀𐤄𐤓𐤍 aharon Aaron HNp קַח 𐤒𐤇 qach Take HVqv2ms לְ֠/ךָ 𐤋/𐤊 lekha for yourself HR/Sp2ms עֵ֣גֶל 𐤏𐤂𐤋 egel a calf HNcmsa בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) son HNcmsc בָּקָ֧ר 𐤁𐤒𐤓 baqar of cattle HNcbsa לְ/חַטָּ֛את 𐤋/𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 lechatat for a sin offering HR/Ncfsa וְ/אַ֥יִל 𐤅/𐤀𐤉𐤋 veayil and a ram HC/Ncmsa לְ/עֹלָ֖ה 𐤋/𐤏𐤋𐤄 leolah for a burnt offering HR/Ncfsa תְּמִימִ֑ם 𐤕𐤌𐤉𐤌𐤌 temimim without blemish HAampa וְ/הַקְרֵ֖ב 𐤅/𐤄𐤒𐤓𐤁 vehaqerev and present HC/Vhv2ms לִ/פְנֵ֥י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

And to the sons of Israel you shall speak saying Take a he-goat of goats for a sin offering and a calf and a lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering

3 וְ/אֶל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel And to HC/R בְּנֵ֥י 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) the sons of HNcmpc יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp תְּדַבֵּ֣ר 𐤕𐤃𐤁𐤓 tedaber you shall speak HVpi2ms לֵ/אמֹ֑ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc קְח֤וּ 𐤒𐤇𐤅 qechu Take HVqv2mp שְׂעִיר 𐤔𐤏𐤉𐤓 seir a he-goat HNcmsc עִזִּים֙ 𐤏𐤆𐤉𐤌 izim of goats HNcfpa לְ/חַטָּ֔את 𐤋/𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 lechatat for a sin offering HR/Ncfsa וְ/עֵ֨גֶל 𐤅/𐤏𐤂𐤋 veegel and a calf HC/Ncmsa וָ/כֶ֧בֶשׂ 𐤅/𐤊𐤁𐤔 vakheves and a lamb HC/Ncmsa בְּנֵי 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney-2 Bene (Bemba) of the first HNcmpc שָׁנָ֛ה 𐤔𐤍𐤄 shanah year HNcfsa תְּמִימִ֖ם 𐤕𐤌𐤉𐤌𐤌 temimim without blemish HAampa לְ/עֹלָֽה 𐤋/𐤏𐤋𐤄 leolah for a burnt offering HR/Ncfsa

and an ox and a ram for peace offerings to sacrifice before YHWH and a grain offering mixed with oil for today YHWH will appear to you

4 וְ/שׁ֨וֹר 𐤅/𐤔𐤅𐤓 veshor and an ox HC/Ncmsa וָ/אַ֜יִל 𐤅/𐤀𐤉𐤋 vaayil and a ram HC/Ncmsa לִ/שְׁלָמִ֗ים 𐤋/𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤌 lishelamim for peace offerings HR/Ncmpa לִ/זְבֹּ֨חַ֙ 𐤋/𐤆𐤁𐤇 lizebocha to sacrifice HR/Vqc לִ/פְנֵ֣י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc יְהוָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp וּ/מִנְחָ֖ה 𐤅/𐤌𐤍𐤇𐤄 uminechah and a grain offering HC/Ncfsa בְּלוּלָ֣ה 𐤁𐤋𐤅𐤋𐤄 belulah mixed HVqsfsa בַ/שָּׁ֑מֶן 𐤁/𐤔𐤌𐤍 vashamen with oil HRd/Ncmsa כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC הַ/יּ֔וֹם 𐤄/𐤉𐤅𐤌 hayom today HTd/Ncmsa יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp נִרְאָ֥ה 𐤍𐤓𐤀𐤄 nireah will appear HVNp3ms אֲלֵי/כֶֽם 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤊𐤌 aleykhem to you HR/Sp2mp

and they brought that which which he commanded Moses to before the tent of meeting and they drew near all the congregation and stood before YHWH

5 וַ/יִּקְח֗וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤇𐤅 vayiqechu and they brought HC/Vqw3mp אֵ֚ת 𐤀𐤕 et that which HTo אֲשֶׁ֣ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr צִוָּ֣ה 𐤑𐤅𐤄 tsivah he commanded HVpp3ms מֹשֶׁ֔ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR פְּנֵ֖י 𐤐𐤍𐤉 peney before HNcbpc אֹ֣הֶל 𐤀𐤄𐤋 ohel the tent HNcmsc מוֹעֵ֑ד 𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃 moed of meeting HNcmsa וַֽ/יִּקְרְבוּ֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤁𐤅 vayiqerevu and they drew near HC/Vqw3mp כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal all HNcmsc הָ֣/עֵדָ֔ה 𐤄/𐤏𐤃𐤄 haedah the congregation HTd/Ncfsa וַ/יַּֽעַמְד֖וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤌𐤃𐤅 vayaamedu and stood HC/Vqw3mp לִ/פְנֵ֥י 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉 lifeney before HR/Ncbpc יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

and said Moses this the thing which commanded YHWH you shall do and it will appear to you glory YHWH

6 וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms מֹשֶׁ֔ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp זֶ֧ה 𐤆𐤄 zeh this HPdxms הַ/דָּבָ֛ר 𐤄/𐤃𐤁𐤓 hadavar the thing HTd/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr צִוָּ֥ה 𐤑𐤅𐤄 tsivah commanded HVpp3ms יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp תַּעֲשׂ֑וּ 𐤕𐤏𐤔𐤅 taasu you shall do HVqi2mp וְ/יֵרָ֥א 𐤅/𐤉𐤓𐤀 veyera and it will appear HC/VNj3ms אֲלֵי/כֶ֖ם 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤊𐤌 aleykhem to you HR/Sp2mp כְּב֥וֹד 𐤊𐤁𐤅𐤃 kevod glory HNcbsc יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

and said Moses to Aaron approach to the altar and offer (direct object marker) your sin offering and your burnt offering and make atonement for yourself and for the people and offer (direct object marker) offering of the people and make atonement for them as commanded YHWH

7 וַ/יֹּ֨אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms מֹשֶׁ֜ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp אֶֽל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR אַהֲרֹ֗ן 𐤀𐤄𐤓𐤍 aharon Aaron HNp קְרַ֤ב 𐤒𐤓𐤁 qerav approach HVqv2ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el-2 to HR הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֨חַ֙ 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 hamizebecha the altar HTd/Ncmsa וַ/עֲשֵׂ֞ה 𐤅/𐤏𐤔𐤄 vaaseh and offer HC/Vqv2ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et (direct object marker) HTo חַטָּֽאתְ/ךָ֙ 𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕/𐤊 chatatekha your sin offering HNcfsc/Sp2ms וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and HC/To עֹ֣לָתֶ֔/ךָ 𐤏𐤋𐤕/𐤊 olatekha your burnt offering HNcfsc/Sp2ms וְ/כַפֵּ֥ר 𐤅/𐤊𐤐𐤓 vekhaper and make atonement HC/Vpv2ms בַּֽעַדְ/ךָ֖ 𐤁𐤏𐤃/𐤊 baadekha for yourself HR/Sp2ms וּ/בְעַ֣ד 𐤅/𐤁𐤏𐤃 uvead and for HC/R הָ/עָ֑ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa וַ/עֲשֵׂ֞ה 𐤅/𐤏𐤔𐤄 vaaseh-2 and offer HC/Vqv2ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et-2 (direct object marker) HTo קָרְבַּ֤ן 𐤒𐤓𐤁𐤍 qareban offering HNcmsc הָ/עָם֙ 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam-2 of the people HTd/Ncmsa וְ/כַפֵּ֣ר 𐤅/𐤊𐤐𐤓 vekhaper-2 and make atonement HC/Vpv2ms בַּֽעֲדָ֔/ם 𐤁𐤏𐤃/𐤌 baadam for them HR/Sp3mp כַּ/אֲשֶׁ֖ר 𐤊/𐤀𐤔𐤓 kaasher as HR/Tr צִוָּ֥ה 𐤑𐤅𐤄 tsivah commanded HVpp3ms יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

drew near Aaron to the altar and killed (direct object marker) calf of the sin offering which for himself

8 וַ/יִּקְרַ֥ב 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤁 vayiqerav drew near HC/Vqw3ms אַהֲרֹ֖ן 𐤀𐤄𐤓𐤍 aharon Aaron HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֑חַ 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 hamizebecha the altar HTd/Ncmsa וַ/יִּשְׁחַ֛ט 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤇𐤈 vayishechat and killed HC/Vqw3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et (direct object marker) HTo עֵ֥גֶל 𐤏𐤂𐤋 egel calf HNcmsc הַ/חַטָּ֖את 𐤄/𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 hachatat of the sin offering HTd/Ncfsa אֲשֶׁר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr לֽ/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo for himself HR/Sp3ms

presented sons of Aaron [direct object marker] the blood to him and he dipped his finger in the blood and put on horns of the altar and [direct object marker] the blood he poured at the base of the altar

9 וַ֠/יַּקְרִבוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤁𐤅 vayaqerivu presented HC/Vhw3mp בְּנֵ֨י 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) sons of HNcmpc אַהֲרֹ֣ן 𐤀𐤄𐤓𐤍 aharon Aaron HNp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo הַ/דָּם֮ 𐤄/𐤃𐤌 hadam the blood HTd/Ncmsa אֵלָי/ו֒ 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤅 elayv to him HR/Sp3ms וַ/יִּטְבֹּ֤ל 𐤅/𐤉𐤈𐤁𐤋 vayitebol and he dipped HC/Vqw3ms אֶצְבָּע/וֹ֙ 𐤀𐤑𐤁𐤏/𐤅 etsebao his finger HNcfsc/Sp3ms בַּ/דָּ֔ם 𐤁/𐤃𐤌 badam in the blood HRd/Ncmsa וַ/יִּתֵּ֖ן 𐤅/𐤉𐤕𐤍 vayiten and put HC/Vqw3ms עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR קַרְנ֣וֹת 𐤒𐤓𐤍𐤅𐤕 qarenot horns of HNcbpc הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֑חַ 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 hamizebecha the altar HTd/Ncmsa וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and [direct object marker] HC/To הַ/דָּ֣ם 𐤄/𐤃𐤌 hadam-2 the blood HTd/Ncmsa יָצַ֔ק 𐤉𐤑𐤒 yatsaq he poured HVqp3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el at HR יְס֖וֹד 𐤉𐤎𐤅𐤃 yesod the base HNcmsc הַ/מִּזְבֵּֽחַ 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 hamizebecha-2 of the altar HTd/Ncmsa

and the fat and the kidneys and the lobe from the liver of the sin offering he burned on the altar as commanded YHWH obj Moses

10 וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and the HC/To הַ/חֵ֨לֶב 𐤄/𐤇𐤋𐤁 hachelev fat HTd/Ncmsa וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet-2 and the HC/To הַ/כְּלָיֹ֜ת 𐤄/𐤊𐤋𐤉𐤕 hakelayot kidneys HTd/Ncfpa וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet-3 and the HC/To הַ/יֹּתֶ֤רֶת 𐤄/𐤉𐤕𐤓𐤕 hayoteret lobe HTd/Ncfsa מִן 𐤌𐤍 min from HR הַ/כָּבֵד֙ 𐤄/𐤊𐤁𐤃 hakaved the liver HTd/Ncfsa מִן 𐤌𐤍 min-2 of HR הַ֣/חַטָּ֔את 𐤄/𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 hachatat the sin offering HTd/Ncfsa הִקְטִ֖יר 𐤄𐤒𐤈𐤉𐤓 hiqetir he burned HVhp3ms הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֑חָ/ה 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇/𐤄 hamizebechah on the altar HTd/Ncmsa/Sd כַּ/אֲשֶׁ֛ר 𐤊/𐤀𐤔𐤓 kaasher as HR/Tr צִוָּ֥ה 𐤑𐤅𐤄 tsivah commanded HVpp3ms יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et obj HTo מֹשֶֽׁה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp

and the flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside of the camp

11 וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and the HC/To הַ/בָּשָׂ֖ר 𐤄/𐤁𐤔𐤓 habasar flesh HTd/Ncmsa וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet-2 and the HC/To הָ/ע֑וֹר 𐤄/𐤏𐤅𐤓 haor skin HTd/Ncmsa שָׂרַ֣ף 𐤔𐤓𐤐 saraf he burned HVqp3ms בָּ/אֵ֔שׁ 𐤁/𐤀𐤔 baesh with fire HRd/Ncbsa מִ/ח֖וּץ 𐤌/𐤇𐤅𐤑 michuts outside HR/Ncmsa לַֽ/מַּחֲנֶֽה 𐤋/𐤌𐤇𐤍𐤄 lamachaneh of the camp HRd/Ncbsa

and he slaughtered [direct object marker] the burnt offering and they presented sons of Aaron to him [direct object marker] the blood and he sprinkled it on the altar all around

12 וַ/יִּשְׁחַ֖ט 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤇𐤈 vayishechat and he slaughtered HC/Vqw3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo הָ/עֹלָ֑ה 𐤄/𐤏𐤋𐤄 haolah the burnt offering HTd/Ncfsa וַ֠/יַּמְצִאוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤌𐤑𐤀𐤅 vayametsiu and they presented HC/Vhw3mp בְּנֵ֨י 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) sons of HNcmpc אַהֲרֹ֤ן 𐤀𐤄𐤓𐤍 aharon Aaron HNp אֵלָי/ו֙ 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤅 elayv to him HR/Sp3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et-2 [direct object marker] HTo הַ/דָּ֔ם 𐤄/𐤃𐤌 hadam the blood HTd/Ncmsa וַ/יִּזְרְקֵ֥/הוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤆𐤓𐤒/𐤄𐤅 vayizereqehu and he sprinkled it HC/Vqw3ms/Sp3ms עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֖חַ 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 hamizebecha the altar HTd/Ncmsa סָבִֽיב 𐤎𐤁𐤉𐤁 saviv all around HNcbsa

and the burnt offering they presented to him its pieces and the head and he burned on the altar

13 וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and the HC/To הָ/עֹלָ֗ה 𐤄/𐤏𐤋𐤄 haolah burnt offering HTd/Ncfsa הִמְצִ֧יאוּ 𐤄𐤌𐤑𐤉𐤀𐤅 himetsiu they presented HVhp3cp אֵלָ֛י/ו 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤅 elayv to him HR/Sp3ms לִ/נְתָחֶ֖י/הָ 𐤋/𐤍𐤕𐤇𐤉/𐤄 linetacheyha its pieces HR/Ncmpc/Sp3fs וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet-2 and HC/To הָ/רֹ֑אשׁ 𐤄/𐤓𐤀𐤔 harosh the head HTd/Ncmsa וַ/יַּקְטֵ֖ר 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤈𐤓 vayaqeter and he burned HC/Vhw3ms עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR הַ/מִּזְבֵּֽחַ 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 hamizebecha the altar HTd/Ncmsa

and he washed the innards and the legs and offered up in smoke on the burnt offering the altar

14 וַ/יִּרְחַ֥ץ 𐤅/𐤉𐤓𐤇𐤑 vayirechats and he washed HC/Vqw3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et the HTo הַ/קֶּ֖רֶב 𐤄/𐤒𐤓𐤁 haqerev innards HTd/Ncmsa וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and the HC/To הַ/כְּרָעָ֑יִם 𐤄/𐤊𐤓𐤏𐤉𐤌 hakeraayim legs HTd/Ncbda וַ/יַּקְטֵ֥ר 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤈𐤓 vayaqeter and offered up in smoke HC/Vhw3ms עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR הָ/עֹלָ֖ה 𐤄/𐤏𐤋𐤄 haolah the burnt offering HTd/Ncfsa הַ/מִּזְבֵּֽחָ/ה 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇/𐤄 hamizebechah the altar HTd/Ncmsa/Sd

and he presented direct object marker offering of the people and he took direct object marker goat of the sin offering which for the people and he slaughtered it and made atonement with it like the first

15 וַ/יַּקְרֵ֕ב 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤁 vayaqerev and he presented HC/Vhw3ms אֵ֖ת 𐤀𐤕 et direct object marker HTo קָרְבַּ֣ן 𐤒𐤓𐤁𐤍 qareban offering HNcmsc הָ/עָ֑ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam of the people HTd/Ncmsa וַ/יִּקַּ֞ח 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤇 vayiqach and he took HC/Vqw3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et-2 direct object marker HTo שְׂעִ֤יר 𐤔𐤏𐤉𐤓 seir goat HNcmsc הַֽ/חַטָּאת֙ 𐤄/𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 hachatat of the sin offering HTd/Ncfsa אֲשֶׁ֣ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr לָ/עָ֔ם 𐤋/𐤏𐤌 laam for the people HRd/Ncmsa וַ/יִּשְׁחָטֵ֥/הוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤇𐤈/𐤄𐤅 vayishechatehu and he slaughtered it HC/Vqw3ms/Sp3ms וַֽ/יְחַטְּאֵ֖/הוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤇𐤈𐤀/𐤄𐤅 vayechateehu and made atonement with it HC/Vpw3ms/Sp3ms כָּ/רִאשֽׁוֹן 𐤊/𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤅𐤍 karishon like the first HRd/Aamsa

And he brought forward the burnt offering and made it according to the ordinance

16 וַ/יַּקְרֵ֖ב 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤁 vayaqerev And he brought forward HC/Vhw3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et the HTo הָ/עֹלָ֑ה 𐤄/𐤏𐤋𐤄 haolah burnt offering HTd/Ncfsa וַֽ/יַּעֲשֶׂ֖/הָ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤔/𐤄 vayaaseha and made it HC/Vqw3ms/Sp3fs כַּ/מִּשְׁפָּֽט 𐤊/𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤈 kamishepat according to the ordinance HRd/Ncmsa
