Deuteronomy 12

Moses commands the Israelites to destroy all Canaanite places of worship and worship YHWH exclusively at the one place He chooses, where they must bring burnt offerings, sacrifices, tithes, and vowed offerings.[3] The Israelites are permitted to slaughter and eat meat anywhere within their gates, but sacrificial animals and tithes must be consumed only at YHWH's appointed sanctuary in a communal celebration.[3]

if for (as reason or ground) is far he will become distant from you from you (masculine singular) the place the standing-place which that-which chooses he selects YHWH the Being One your God your gods to put to set / to place His name his name there there (in that place) then you shall sacrifice and you (masculine) shall slaughter-as-sacrifice of your cattle from your herd-cattle and of your sheep and from your migratory flock which that-which has given he gave YHWH the Being One to you — as that-which-is-suitable I have commanded you I have laid charge upon you (masculine singular) and you shall eat and you shall eat in your gates in your gateways in all in the whole desire longing-of of your soul your life-breath
