And there was a famine in the land besides the famine first that was in the days of Abraham And went Isaac to Abimelech king of the Philistines to Gerar

appeared to him YHWH and said do not go down to Egypt dwell in the land which I shall tell to you

because that obeyed Abraham my voice and kept my charge my commandments my statutes and my laws

And dwelt Isaac in Gerar

6 וַ/יֵּ֥שֶׁב 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤁 vayeshev And dwelt HC/Vqw3ms יִצְחָ֖ק 𐤉𐤑𐤇𐤒 yitsechaq Isaac HNp בִּ/גְרָֽר 𐤁/𐤂𐤓𐤓 bigerar in Gerar HR/Np

and sowed Isaac in that land that and reaped in the same year that a hundredfold fold and YHWH blessed him YHWH

and became great the man and went going and becoming great until that he became great very

said Abimelech to Isaac go from us for you have become than us much

16 וַ/יֹּ֥אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer said HC/Vqw3ms אֲבִימֶ֖לֶךְ 𐤀𐤁𐤉𐤌𐤋𐤊 avimelekhe Abimelech HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR יִצְחָ֑ק 𐤉𐤑𐤇𐤒 yitsechaq Isaac HNp לֵ֚ךְ 𐤋𐤊 lekhe go HVqv2ms מֵֽ/עִמָּ֔/נוּ 𐤌/𐤏𐤌/𐤍𐤅 meimanu from us HR/R/Sp1cp כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC עָצַֽמְתָּ 𐤏𐤑𐤌𐤕 atsameta you have become HVqp2ms מִמֶּ֖/נּוּ 𐤌𐤌/𐤍𐤅 mimenu than us HR/Sp1cp מְאֹֽד 𐤌𐤀𐤃 meod much HD

And Isaac went away from there Isaac and encamped in the valley of Gerar and dwelt there

and he dug again Isaac and dug [direct object marker] the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father had stopped them up the Philistines after death of Abraham and he called them names like the names which he had called them his father

19 וַ/יַּחְפְּר֥וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤇𐤐𐤓𐤅 vayacheperu and they dug HC/Vqw3mp עַבְדֵֽי 𐤏𐤁𐤃𐤉 avedey servants of HNcmpc יִצְחָ֖ק 𐤉𐤑𐤇𐤒 yitsechaq Isaac HNp בַּ/נָּ֑חַל 𐤁/𐤍𐤇𐤋 banachal in the valley HRd/Ncmsa וַ/יִּ֨מְצְאוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤌𐤑𐤀𐤅 vayimetseu and they found HC/Vqw3mp שָׁ֔ם 𐤔𐤌 sham there HD בְּאֵ֖ר 𐤁𐤀𐤓 beer a well HNcfsc מַ֥יִם 𐤌𐤉𐤌 mayim Amanzi (Zulu) of water HNcmpa חַיִּֽים 𐤇𐤉𐤉𐤌 chayim living HAampa

and they quarreled herdsmen Gerar with herdsmen Isaac's saying to us the water and he called name of the well Esek because they contended with him

21 וַֽ/יַּחְפְּרוּ֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤇𐤐𐤓𐤅 vayacheperu and they dug HC/Vqw3mp בְּאֵ֣ר 𐤁𐤀𐤓 beer a well HNcfsa אַחֶ֔רֶת 𐤀𐤇𐤓𐤕 acheret another HAafsa וַ/יָּרִ֖יבוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤓𐤉𐤁𐤅 vayarivu and they quarreled HC/Vqw3mp גַּם 𐤂𐤌 gam also HTa עָלֶ֑י/הָ 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄 aleyha over it HR/Sp3fs וַ/יִּקְרָ֥א 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤀 vayiqera and he called HC/Vqw3ms שְׁמָ֖/הּ 𐤔𐤌/𐤄 shemah its name HNcmsc/Sp3fs שִׂטְנָֽה 𐤔𐤈𐤍𐤄 sitenah Sitnah HNp

and he moved from there and he dug a well another and not they quarreled over it and he called its name Rehoboth and he said for now has made room YHWH for us and we shall be fruitful in the land

he went up from there Beersheba

and said to them Isaac why have you come to me and you hate me and sent me away from you

And they said We saw that we have seen that was YHWH with you and we said Let there be now an oath between us between us and between you and let us make a covenant with you

if you will do with us harm just as not we have touched you and just as we have done to you only good and we sent you away in peace you now blessed of YHWH

they rose early in the morning and swore one to another and sent them away Isaac and they departed from him in peace
