Deuteronomy 9

Moses recounts Israel's rebellion at Horeb, their golden calf idolatry despite YHWH's revelation of His glory and two tablets of covenant, his intercession after YHWH's anger, and the breaking and replacement of the tablets.[1]

Remember do not forget how that you provoked to YHWH your God in the wilderness from the day that you went out from the land of Egypt until you came to the place this rebelling you were against YHWH

And I fell down before YHWH as at the first forty days and forty nights bread not I ate nor water not I drank because of all your sin which you had sinned in doing what was evil in the sight of YHWH to provoke Him

and-when-he-sent YHWH you from Kadesh Barnea saying Go up and possess the land which I have given to you but you rebelled against the mouth of YHWH your God and not did you believe in Him nor did you obey to His voice
