called Isaac to Jacob and blessed him and charged and said to him not you shall take a wife from the daughters of Canaan

1 וַ/יִּקְרָ֥א 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤀 vayiqera called HC/Vqw3ms יִצְחָ֛ק 𐤉𐤑𐤇𐤒 yitsechaq Isaac HNp אֶֽל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR יַעֲקֹ֖ב 𐤉𐤏𐤒𐤁 yaaqov Jacob HNp וַ/יְבָ֣רֶךְ 𐤅/𐤉𐤁𐤓𐤊 vayevarekhe and blessed HC/Vpw3ms אֹת֑/וֹ 𐤀𐤕/𐤅 oto him HTo/Sp3ms וַ/יְצַוֵּ֨/הוּ֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤑𐤅/𐤄𐤅 vayetsavehu and charged HC/Vpw3ms/Sp3ms וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms ל֔/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo to him HR/Sp3ms לֹֽא 𐤋𐤀 lo-2 not HTn תִקַּ֥ח 𐤕𐤒𐤇 tiqach you shall take HVqi2ms אִשָּׁ֖ה 𐤀𐤔𐤄 ishah a wife HNcfsa מִ/בְּנ֥וֹת 𐤌/𐤁𐤍𐤅𐤕 mibenot from the daughters of HR/Ncfpc כְּנָֽעַן 𐤊𐤍𐤏𐤍 kenaan Canaan HNp

Arise go to Paddan Aram to the house of Bethuel father of your mother and take for yourself from there a wife from the daughters of Laban brother of your mother

2 ק֥וּם 𐤒𐤅𐤌 qum Arise HVqv2ms לֵךְ֙ 𐤋𐤊 lekhe go HVqv2ms פַּדֶּ֣נָֽ/ה 𐤐𐤃𐤍/𐤄 padenah to Paddan HNp/Sd אֲרָ֔ם 𐤀𐤓𐤌 aram Aram HNp בֵּ֥יתָ/ה 𐤁𐤉𐤕/𐤄 beytah to the house HNcmsc/Sd בְתוּאֵ֖ל 𐤁𐤕𐤅𐤀𐤋 vetuel of Bethuel HNp אֲבִ֣י 𐤀𐤁𐤉 avi father HNcmsc אִמֶּ֑/ךָ 𐤀𐤌/𐤊 imekha of your mother HNcfsc/Sp2ms וְ/קַח 𐤅/𐤒𐤇 veqach and take HC/Vqv2ms לְ/ךָ֤ 𐤋/𐤊 lekha for yourself HR/Sp2ms מִ/שָּׁם֙ 𐤌/𐤔𐤌 misham from there HR/D אִשָּׁ֔ה 𐤀𐤔𐤄 ishah a wife HNcfsa מִ/בְּנ֥וֹת 𐤌/𐤁𐤍𐤅𐤕 mibenot from the daughters HR/Ncfpc לָבָ֖ן 𐤋𐤁𐤍 lavan of Laban HNp אֲחִ֥י 𐤀𐤇𐤉 achi brother HNcmsc אִמֶּֽ/ךָ 𐤀𐤌/𐤊 imekha-2 of your mother HNcfsc/Sp2ms

and God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you and you shall be an assembly of peoples

3 וְ/אֵ֤ל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel and God HC/Np שַׁדַּי֙ 𐤔𐤃𐤉 shaday Almighty HNp יְבָרֵ֣ךְ 𐤉𐤁𐤓𐤊 yevarekhe bless HVpj3ms אֹֽתְ/ךָ֔ 𐤀𐤕/𐤊 otekha you HTo/Sp2ms וְ/יַפְרְ/ךָ֖ 𐤅/𐤉𐤐𐤓/𐤊 veyaferekha and make you fruitful HC/Vhj3ms/Sp2ms וְ/יַרְבֶּ֑/ךָ 𐤅/𐤉𐤓𐤁/𐤊 veyarebekha and multiply you HC/Vhj3ms/Sp2ms וְ/הָיִ֖יתָ 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤉𐤕 vehayita and you shall be HC/Vqq2ms לִ/קְהַ֥ל 𐤋/𐤒𐤄𐤋 liqehal an assembly HR/Ncmsc עַמִּֽים 𐤏𐤌𐤉𐤌 amim of peoples HNcmpa

and may he give to you [direct object marker] the blessing Abraham to you and to your offspring with you that you may inherit [direct object marker] the land of your sojournings which he gave God to Abraham

and saw Esau that had blessed Isaac [direct object marker] Jacob and sent him Paddan Aram to take for himself from there a wife when he blessed him and commanded him saying not take a wife from the daughters Canaan

and he obeyed Jacob to his father and to his mother and went Paddan-aram Aram

7 וַ/יִּשְׁמַ֣ע 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤌𐤏 vayishema and he obeyed HC/Vqw3ms יַעֲקֹ֔ב 𐤉𐤏𐤒𐤁 yaaqov Jacob HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR אָבִ֖י/ו 𐤀𐤁𐤉/𐤅 aviv his father HNcmsc/Sp3ms וְ/אֶל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel and to HC/R אִמּ֑/וֹ 𐤀𐤌/𐤅 imo his mother HNcfsc/Sp3ms וַ/יֵּ֖לֶךְ 𐤅/𐤉𐤋𐤊 vayelekhe and went HC/Vqw3ms פַּדֶּ֥נָֽ/ה 𐤐𐤃𐤍/𐤄 padenah Paddan-aram HNp/Sd אֲרָֽם 𐤀𐤓𐤌 aram Aram HNp

saw Esau that were displeasing daughters of Canaan in the eyes of Isaac his father

8 וַ/יַּ֣רְא 𐤅/𐤉𐤓𐤀 vayare saw HC/Vqw3ms עֵשָׂ֔ו 𐤏𐤔𐤅 esav Esau HNp כִּ֥י 𐤊𐤉 ki that HC רָע֖וֹת 𐤓𐤏𐤅𐤕 raot were displeasing HAafpa בְּנ֣וֹת 𐤁𐤍𐤅𐤕 benot daughters HNcfpc כְּנָ֑עַן 𐤊𐤍𐤏𐤍 kenaan of Canaan HNp בְּ/עֵינֵ֖י 𐤁/𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉 beeyney in the eyes of HR/Ncbdc יִצְחָ֥ק 𐤉𐤑𐤇𐤒 yitsechaq Isaac HNp אָבִֽי/ו 𐤀𐤁𐤉/𐤅 aviv his father HNcmsc/Sp3ms

went Esau to Ishmael took Mahalath daughter of Ishmael son of Abraham sister of Nebaioth in addition to his wives to him as a wife

went out Jacob from Beersheba and went toward Haran

10 וַ/יֵּצֵ֥א 𐤅/𐤉𐤑𐤀 vayetse went out HC/Vqw3ms יַעֲקֹ֖ב 𐤉𐤏𐤒𐤁 yaaqov Jacob HNp מִ/בְּאֵ֣ר 𐤌/𐤁𐤀𐤓 mibeer from Beersheba HR/Np שָׁ֑בַע 𐤔𐤁𐤏 shava HNp וַ/יֵּ֖לֶךְ 𐤅/𐤉𐤋𐤊 vayelekhe and went HC/Vqw3ms חָרָֽנָ/ה 𐤇𐤓𐤍/𐤄 charanah toward Haran HNp/Sd

he came to a certain place and spent the night there because had set the sun and he took one of the stones of the place and put under his head and lay down in that place that

11 וַ/יִּפְגַּ֨ע 𐤅/𐤉𐤐𐤂𐤏 vayifega he came to HC/Vqw3ms בַּ/מָּק֜וֹם 𐤁/𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤌 bamaqom a certain place HRd/Ncmsa וַ/יָּ֤לֶן 𐤅/𐤉𐤋𐤍 vayalen and spent the night HC/Vqw3ms שָׁם֙ 𐤔𐤌 sham there HD כִּי 𐤊𐤉 ki because HC בָ֣א 𐤁𐤀 va had set HVqp3ms הַ/שֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ 𐤄/𐤔𐤌𐤔 hashemesh the sun HTd/Ncbsa וַ/יִּקַּח֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤇 vayiqach and he took HC/Vqw3ms מֵ/אַבְנֵ֣י 𐤌/𐤀𐤁𐤍𐤉 meaveney one of the stones HR/Ncfpc הַ/מָּק֔וֹם 𐤄/𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤌 hamaqom of the place HTd/Ncmsa וַ/יָּ֖שֶׂם 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤌 vayasem and put HC/Vqw3ms מְרַֽאֲשֹׁתָ֑י/ו 𐤌𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤕𐤉/𐤅 meraashotayv under his head HNcfpc/Sp3ms וַ/יִּשְׁכַּ֖ב 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤊𐤁 vayishekav and lay down HC/Vqw3ms בַּ/מָּק֥וֹם 𐤁/𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤌 bamaqom-2 in that place HRd/Ncmsa הַ/הֽוּא 𐤄/𐤄𐤅𐤀 hahu that HTd/Pp3ms

and he dreamed and behold a ladder set up on the earth and its top reaching to heaven and behold angels of God ascending and descending on it

12 וַֽ/יַּחֲלֹ֗ם 𐤅/𐤉𐤇𐤋𐤌 vayachalom and he dreamed HC/Vqw3ms וְ/הִנֵּ֤ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤄 vehineh and behold HC/Tm סֻלָּם֙ 𐤎𐤋𐤌 sulam a ladder HNcmsa מֻצָּ֣ב 𐤌𐤑𐤁 mutsav set up HVHsmsa אַ֔רְצָ/ה 𐤀𐤓𐤑/𐤄 aretsah on the earth HNcbsa/Sd וְ/רֹאשׁ֖/וֹ 𐤅/𐤓𐤀𐤔/𐤅 verosho and its top HC/Ncmsc/Sp3ms מַגִּ֣יעַ 𐤌𐤂𐤉𐤏 magia reaching HVhrmsa הַ/שָּׁמָ֑יְמָ/ה 𐤄/𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌/𐤄 hashamayemah to heaven HTd/Ncmpa/Sd וְ/הִנֵּה֙ 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤄 vehineh-2 and behold HC/Tm מַלְאֲכֵ֣י 𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤊𐤉 maleakhey angels HNcmpc אֱלֹהִ֔ים 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 elohim Mulimu (Lozi) of God HNcmpa עֹלִ֥ים 𐤏𐤋𐤉𐤌 olim ascending HVqrmpa וְ/יֹרְדִ֖ים 𐤅/𐤉𐤓𐤃𐤉𐤌 veyoredim and descending HC/Vqrmpa בּֽ/וֹ 𐤁/𐤅 bo on it HR/Sp3ms

and behold YHWH was standing above it and he said I am YHWH the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac the land which you are lying on it to you I will give it and to your offspring

and shall be your seed like the dust of the earth and you shall spread to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south shall be blessed through you all families of the earth and through your seed

14 וְ/הָיָ֤ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤄 vehayah and shall be HC/Vqq3ms זַרְעֲ/ךָ֙ 𐤆𐤓𐤏/𐤊 zareakha your seed HNcmsc/Sp2ms כַּ/עֲפַ֣ר 𐤊/𐤏𐤐𐤓 kaafar like the dust HR/Ncmsc הָ/אָ֔רֶץ 𐤄/𐤀𐤓𐤑 haarets of the earth HTd/Ncbsa וּ/פָרַצְתָּ֛ 𐤅/𐤐𐤓𐤑𐤕 ufaratseta and you shall spread HC/Vqq2ms יָ֥מָּ/ה 𐤉𐤌/𐤄 yamah to the west HNcmsa/Sd וָ/קֵ֖דְמָ/ה 𐤅/𐤒𐤃𐤌/𐤄 vaqedemah and to the east HC/Ncmsa/Sd וְ/צָפֹ֣נָ/ה 𐤅/𐤑𐤐𐤍/𐤄 vetsafonah and to the north HC/Ncfsa/Sd וָ/נֶ֑גְבָּ/ה 𐤅/𐤍𐤂𐤁/𐤄 vanegebah and to the south HC/Ncmsa/Sd וְ/נִבְרֲכ֥וּ 𐤅/𐤍𐤁𐤓𐤊𐤅 veniverakhu shall be blessed HC/VNp3cp בְ/ךָ֛ 𐤁/𐤊 vekha through you HR/Sp2ms כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal all HNcmsc מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת 𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤇𐤕 mishepechot families HNcfpc הָ/אֲדָמָ֖ה 𐤄/𐤀𐤃𐤌𐤄 haadamah of the earth HTd/Ncfsa וּ/בְ/זַרְעֶֽ/ךָ 𐤅/𐤁/𐤆𐤓𐤏/𐤊 uvezareekha and through your seed HC/R/Ncmsc/Sp2ms

And behold I am with you and will keep you in all places you go and will bring you back to this land this for not I will leave you until that I have done what I have spoken to you
