Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi by their families by the house of their fathers

from son thirty years and upward even until son fifty years all that enter into the host to do the work in the tent of meeting

This service of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting holy things

4 זֹ֛את 𐤆𐤀𐤕 zot This HPdxfs עֲבֹדַ֥ת 𐤏𐤁𐤃𐤕 avodat service HNcfsc בְּנֵי 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) of the sons of HNcmpc קְהָ֖ת 𐤒𐤄𐤕 qehat Kohath HNp בְּ/אֹ֣הֶל 𐤁/𐤀𐤄𐤋 beohel in the tent HR/Ncmsc מוֹעֵ֑ד 𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃 moed of meeting HNcmsa קֹ֖דֶשׁ 𐤒𐤃𐤔 qodesh holy HNcmsc הַ/קֳּדָשִֽׁים 𐤄/𐤒𐤃𐤔𐤉𐤌 haqodashim things HTd/Ncmpa

and shall come Aaron and his sons when the camp sets out the camp they shall take down the veil of the screen and cover it the ark of the testimony

5 וּ/בָ֨א 𐤅/𐤁𐤀 uva and shall come HC/Vqq3ms אַהֲרֹ֤ן 𐤀𐤄𐤓𐤍 aharon Aaron HNp וּ/בָנָי/ו֙ 𐤅/𐤁𐤍𐤉/𐤅 uvanayv Bene (Bemba) and his sons HC/Ncmpc/Sp3ms בִּ/נְסֹ֣עַ 𐤁/𐤍𐤎𐤏 binesoa when the camp sets out HR/Vqc הַֽ/מַּחֲנֶ֔ה 𐤄/𐤌𐤇𐤍𐤄 hamachaneh the camp HTd/Ncbsa וְ/הוֹרִ֕דוּ 𐤅/𐤄𐤅𐤓𐤃𐤅 vehoridu they shall take down HC/Vhq3cp אֵ֖ת 𐤀𐤕 et HTo פָּרֹ֣כֶת 𐤐𐤓𐤊𐤕 parokhet the veil HNcfsc הַ/מָּסָ֑ךְ 𐤄/𐤌𐤎𐤊 hamasakhe of the screen HTd/Ncmsa וְ/כִ֨סּוּ 𐤅/𐤊𐤎𐤅 vekhisu and cover HC/Vpq3cp בָ֔/הּ 𐤁/𐤄 vah it HR/Sp3fs אֵ֖ת 𐤀𐤕 et-2 HTo אֲרֹ֥ן 𐤀𐤓𐤍 aron the ark HNcbsc הָ/עֵדֻֽת 𐤄/𐤏𐤃𐤕 haedut of the testimony HTd/Ncfsa

and they shall put on it a covering of skin durable and they shall spread a cloth wholly blue over it and they shall put its poles

6 וְ/נָתְנ֣וּ 𐤅/𐤍𐤕𐤍𐤅 venatenu and they shall put HC/Vqq3cp עָלָ֗י/ו 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤅 alayv on it HR/Sp3ms כְּסוּי֙ 𐤊𐤎𐤅𐤉 kesuy a covering HNcmsc ע֣וֹר 𐤏𐤅𐤓 or of skin HNcmsc תַּ֔חַשׁ 𐤕𐤇𐤔 tachash durable HNcmsa וּ/פָרְשׂ֧וּ 𐤅/𐤐𐤓𐤔𐤅 ufaresu and they shall spread HC/Vqq3cp בֶֽגֶד 𐤁𐤂𐤃 veged a cloth HNcmsc כְּלִ֛יל 𐤊𐤋𐤉𐤋 kelil wholly HAamsc תְּכֵ֖לֶת 𐤕𐤊𐤋𐤕 tekhelet blue HNcfsa מִ/לְ/מָ֑עְלָ/ה 𐤌/𐤋/𐤌𐤏𐤋/𐤄 milemaelah over it HR/R/D/Sd וְ/שָׂמ֖וּ 𐤅/𐤔𐤌𐤅 vesamu and they shall put HC/Vqq3cp בַּדָּֽי/ו 𐤁𐤃𐤉/𐤅 badayv its poles HNcmpc/Sp3ms

And over the table of the Presence they shall spread a cloth of blue And they shall put upon it [direct object marker] the plates and [et] the dishes and [et] the bowls and [et] the pitchers for the drink offering and bread the continual upon it shall be

and they shall spread over them a cloth of scarlet scarlet and cover it with a covering of skin durable and they shall put its poles

8 וּ/פָרְשׂ֣וּ 𐤅/𐤐𐤓𐤔𐤅 ufaresu and they shall spread HC/Vqq3cp עֲלֵי/הֶ֗ם 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄𐤌 aleyhem over them HR/Sp3mp בֶּ֚גֶד 𐤁𐤂𐤃 beged a cloth HNcmsc תּוֹלַ֣עַת 𐤕𐤅𐤋𐤏𐤕 tolaat of scarlet HNcfsc שָׁנִ֔י 𐤔𐤍𐤉 shani scarlet HNcmsa וְ/כִסּ֣וּ 𐤅/𐤊𐤎𐤅 vekhisu and cover HC/Vpq3cp אֹת֔/וֹ 𐤀𐤕/𐤅 oto it HTo/Sp3ms בְּ/מִכְסֵ֖ה 𐤁/𐤌𐤊𐤎𐤄 bemikheseh with a covering HR/Ncmsc ע֣וֹר 𐤏𐤅𐤓 or of skin HNcmsc תָּ֑חַשׁ 𐤕𐤇𐤔 tachash durable HNcmsa וְ/שָׂמ֖וּ 𐤅/𐤔𐤌𐤅 vesamu and they shall put HC/Vqq3cp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et HTo בַּדָּֽי/ו 𐤁𐤃𐤉/𐤅 badayv its poles HNcmpc/Sp3ms

And they shall take a cloth of blue and cover direct object marker the lampstand for the light and its lamps and its tongs and its trays and all vessels its oil with which they minister to it with them

9 וְ/לָקְח֣וּ 𐤅/𐤋𐤒𐤇𐤅 velaqechu And they shall take HC/Vqq3cp בֶּ֣גֶד 𐤁𐤂𐤃 beged a cloth HNcmsc תְּכֵ֗לֶת 𐤕𐤊𐤋𐤕 tekhelet of blue HNcfsa וְ/כִסּ֞וּ 𐤅/𐤊𐤎𐤅 vekhisu and cover HC/Vpq3cp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et direct object marker HTo מְנֹרַ֤ת 𐤌𐤍𐤓𐤕 menorat the lampstand HNcfsc הַ/מָּאוֹר֙ 𐤄/𐤌𐤀𐤅𐤓 hamaor for the light HTd/Ncmsa וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and HC/To נֵ֣רֹתֶ֔י/הָ 𐤍𐤓𐤕𐤉/𐤄 neroteyha its lamps HNcmpc/Sp3fs וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet-2 and HC/To מַלְקָחֶ֖י/הָ 𐤌𐤋𐤒𐤇𐤉/𐤄 maleqacheyha its tongs HNcmdc/Sp3fs וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet-3 and HC/To מַחְתֹּתֶ֑י/הָ 𐤌𐤇𐤕𐤕𐤉/𐤄 machetoteyha its trays HNcfpc/Sp3fs וְ/אֵת֙ 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet-4 and HC/To כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal all HNcmsc כְּלֵ֣י 𐤊𐤋𐤉 keley vessels HNcmpc שַׁמְנָ֔/הּ 𐤔𐤌𐤍/𐤄 shamenah its oil HNcmsc/Sp3fs אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher with which HTr יְשָׁרְתוּ 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤕𐤅 yesharetu they minister HVpi3mp לָ֖/הּ 𐤋/𐤄 lah to it HR/Sp3fs בָּ/הֶֽם 𐤁/𐤄𐤌 bahem with them HR/Sp3mp

And they shall put it and all its vessels to a covering of skin fine and shall put on the carrying frame

10 וְ/נָתְנ֤וּ 𐤅/𐤍𐤕𐤍𐤅 venatenu And they shall put HC/Vqq3cp אֹתָ/הּ֙ 𐤀𐤕/𐤄 otah it HTo/Sp3fs וְ/אֶת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and HC/To כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal all HNcmsc כֵּלֶ֔י/הָ 𐤊𐤋𐤉/𐤄 keleyha its vessels HNcmpc/Sp3fs אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR מִכְסֵ֖ה 𐤌𐤊𐤎𐤄 mikheseh a covering HNcmsc ע֣וֹר 𐤏𐤅𐤓 or of skin HNcmsc תָּ֑חַשׁ 𐤕𐤇𐤔 tachash fine HNcmsa וְ/נָתְנ֖וּ 𐤅/𐤍𐤕𐤍𐤅 venatenu-2 and shall put HC/Vqq3cp עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR הַ/מּֽוֹט 𐤄/𐤌𐤅𐤈 hamot the carrying frame HTd/Ncmsa

And over the altar of gold they shall spread a cloth blue and cover it with a covering of skin of badger and they shall put its poles

11 וְ/עַ֣ל 𐤅/𐤏𐤋 veal And over HC/R מִזְבַּ֣ח 𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 mizebach the altar HNcmsc הַ/זָּהָ֗ב 𐤄/𐤆𐤄𐤁 hazahav of gold HTd/Ncmsa יִפְרְשׂוּ֙ 𐤉𐤐𐤓𐤔𐤅 yiferesu they shall spread HVqi3mp בֶּ֣גֶד 𐤁𐤂𐤃 beged a cloth HNcmsc תְּכֵ֔לֶת 𐤕𐤊𐤋𐤕 tekhelet blue HNcfsa וְ/כִסּ֣וּ 𐤅/𐤊𐤎𐤅 vekhisu and cover HC/Vpq3cp אֹת֔/וֹ 𐤀𐤕/𐤅 oto it HTo/Sp3ms בְּ/מִכְסֵ֖ה 𐤁/𐤌𐤊𐤎𐤄 bemikheseh with a covering HR/Ncmsc ע֣וֹר 𐤏𐤅𐤓 or of skin HNcmsc תָּ֑חַשׁ 𐤕𐤇𐤔 tachash of badger HNcmsa וְ/שָׂמ֖וּ 𐤅/𐤔𐤌𐤅 vesamu and they shall put HC/Vqq3cp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et HTo בַּדָּֽי/ו 𐤁𐤃𐤉/𐤅 badayv its poles HNcmpc/Sp3ms

12 וְ/לָקְחוּ֩ 𐤅/𐤋𐤒𐤇𐤅 velaqechu and they shall take HC/Vqq3cp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal all HNcmsc כְּלֵ֨י 𐤊𐤋𐤉 keley utensils HNcmpc הַ/שָּׁרֵ֜ת 𐤄/𐤔𐤓𐤕 hasharet the service HTd/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁ֧ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr יְשָֽׁרְתוּ 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤕𐤅 yesharetu they minister HVpi3mp בָ֣/ם 𐤁/𐤌 vam in them HR/Sp3mp בַּ/קֹּ֗דֶשׁ 𐤁/𐤒𐤃𐤔 baqodesh in the sanctuary HRd/Ncmsa וְ/נָֽתְנוּ֙ 𐤅/𐤍𐤕𐤍𐤅 venatenu and put HC/Vqq3cp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el in HR בֶּ֣גֶד 𐤁𐤂𐤃 beged cloth HNcmsc תְּכֵ֔לֶת 𐤕𐤊𐤋𐤕 tekhelet blue HNcfsa וְ/כִסּ֣וּ 𐤅/𐤊𐤎𐤅 vekhisu and cover HC/Vpq3cp אוֹתָ֔/ם 𐤀𐤅𐤕/𐤌 otam them HTo/Sp3mp בְּ/מִכְסֵ֖ה 𐤁/𐤌𐤊𐤎𐤄 bemikheseh with a covering HR/Ncmsc ע֣וֹר 𐤏𐤅𐤓 or skin HNcmsc תָּ֑חַשׁ 𐤕𐤇𐤔 tachash fine HNcmsa וְ/נָתְנ֖וּ 𐤅/𐤍𐤕𐤍𐤅 venatenu-2 and put HC/Vqq3cp עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR הַ/מּֽוֹט 𐤄/𐤌𐤅𐤈 hamot the carrying frame HTd/Ncmsa

13 וְ/דִשְּׁנ֖וּ 𐤅/𐤃𐤔𐤍𐤅 vedishenu and they shall take away HC/Vpq3cp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֑חַ 𐤄/𐤌𐤆𐤁𐤇 hamizebecha the altar HTd/Ncmsa וּ/פָרְשׂ֣וּ 𐤅/𐤐𐤓𐤔𐤅 ufaresu and they shall spread HC/Vqq3cp עָלָ֔י/ו 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤅 alayv over it HR/Sp3ms בֶּ֖גֶד 𐤁𐤂𐤃 beged a cloth HNcmsc אַרְגָּמָֽן 𐤀𐤓𐤂𐤌𐤍 aregaman purple HNcmsa

and they shall put on it [direct object marker] all its utensils which they serve on it with them [direct object marker] the firepans [direct object marker] the forks and [direct object marker] the shovels and [direct object marker] the basins all utensils of the altar and they shall spread over it a covering of skin durable and they shall put its poles

and-when-they-have-finished Aaron and-his-sons to-cover [direct object marker] the-sanctuary and-[direct object marker] all vessels the-sanctuary in-setting-out the-camp and-after thus they-shall-come sons-of Kohath to-bear and-not they-shall-touch to the-holy-[thing] and-they-die these burden sons-of Kohath in-tent-of meeting
