And spoke YHWH to Moses and to Aaron saying

1 וַ/יְדַבֵּ֣ר 𐤅/𐤉𐤃𐤁𐤓 vayedaber And spoke HC/Vpw3ms יְהוָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR מֹשֶׁ֥ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp וְ/אֶֽל 𐤅/𐤀𐤋 veel and to HC/R אַהֲרֹ֖ן 𐤀𐤄𐤓𐤍 aharon Aaron HNp לֵ/אמֹֽר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc

This statute of the law that has commanded YHWH saying Speak to sons of Israel and let them bring to you heifer red unblemished that there is no in it defect that not has gone up on it yoke

And you shall give it to Eleazar the priest and he shall bring it to outside of the camp and slaughter it before him

and shall take Eleazar the priest some of its blood with his finger and sprinkle toward the front of the face of the tent of meeting of the blood seven times

and he shall burn direct object marker the heifer before his eyes direct object marker its skin and its flesh and its blood on its dung he shall burn

and shall take the priest cedar wood cedar and hyssop and scarlet yarn and cast into the midst of the burning the heifer

6 וְ/לָקַ֣ח 𐤅/𐤋𐤒𐤇 velaqach and shall take HC/Vqq3ms הַ/כֹּהֵ֗ן 𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍 hakohen the priest HTd/Ncmsa עֵ֥ץ 𐤏𐤑 ets cedar wood HNcmsc אֶ֛רֶז 𐤀𐤓𐤆 erez cedar HNcmsa וְ/אֵז֖וֹב 𐤅/𐤀𐤆𐤅𐤁 veezov and hyssop HC/Ncmsa וּ/שְׁנִ֣י 𐤅/𐤔𐤍𐤉 usheni and scarlet HC/Ncmsc תוֹלָ֑עַת 𐤕𐤅𐤋𐤏𐤕 tolaat yarn HNcfsa וְ/הִשְׁלִ֕יךְ 𐤅/𐤄𐤔𐤋𐤉𐤊 vehishelikhe and cast HC/Vhq3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el into HR תּ֖וֹךְ 𐤕𐤅𐤊 tokhe the midst of HNcmsc שְׂרֵפַ֥ת 𐤔𐤓𐤐𐤕 serefat the burning HNcfsc הַ/פָּרָֽה 𐤄/𐤐𐤓𐤄 haparah the heifer HTd/Ncfsa

and shall wash his clothes the priest and shall bathe his body in water and afterward he shall come into the camp and shall be unclean the priest until evening

7 וְ/כִבֶּ֨ס 𐤅/𐤊𐤁𐤎 vekhibes and shall wash HC/Vpq3ms בְּגָדָ֜י/ו 𐤁𐤂𐤃𐤉/𐤅 begadayv his clothes HNcmpc/Sp3ms הַ/כֹּהֵ֗ן 𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍 hakohen the priest HTd/Ncmsa וְ/רָחַ֤ץ 𐤅/𐤓𐤇𐤑 verachats and shall bathe HC/Vqq3ms בְּשָׂר/וֹ֙ 𐤁𐤔𐤓/𐤅 besaro his body HNcmsc/Sp3ms בַּ/מַּ֔יִם 𐤁/𐤌𐤉𐤌 bamayim Amanzi (Zulu) in water HRd/Ncmpa וְ/אַחַ֖ר 𐤅/𐤀𐤇𐤓 veachar and afterward HC/D יָב֣וֹא 𐤉𐤁𐤅𐤀 yavo he shall come HVqi3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el into HR הַֽ/מַּחֲנֶ֑ה 𐤄/𐤌𐤇𐤍𐤄 hamachaneh the camp HTd/Ncbsa וְ/טָמֵ֥א 𐤅/𐤈𐤌𐤀 vetame and shall be unclean HC/Vqq3ms הַ/כֹּהֵ֖ן 𐤄/𐤊𐤄𐤍 hakohen-2 the priest HTd/Ncmsa עַד 𐤏𐤃 ad until HR הָ/עָֽרֶב 𐤄/𐤏𐤓𐤁 haarev evening HTd/Ncmsa

and-the-one-who-burns it shall-wash his-clothes in-water and-bathe his-body in-water and-unclean until the-evening

8 וְ/הַ/שֹּׂרֵ֣ף 𐤅/𐤄/𐤔𐤓𐤐 vehasoref and-the-one-who-burns HC/Td/Vqrmsa אֹתָ֔/הּ 𐤀𐤕/𐤄 otah it HTo/Sp3fs יְכַבֵּ֤ס 𐤉𐤊𐤁𐤎 yekhabes shall-wash HVpi3ms בְּגָדָי/ו֙ 𐤁𐤂𐤃𐤉/𐤅 begadayv his-clothes HNcmpc/Sp3ms בַּ/מַּ֔יִם 𐤁/𐤌𐤉𐤌 bamayim Amanzi (Zulu) in-water HRd/Ncmpa וְ/רָחַ֥ץ 𐤅/𐤓𐤇𐤑 verachats and-bathe HC/Vqq3ms בְּשָׂר֖/וֹ 𐤁𐤔𐤓/𐤅 besaro his-body HNcmsc/Sp3ms בַּ/מָּ֑יִם 𐤁/𐤌𐤉𐤌 bamayim-2 Amanzi (Zulu) in-water HRd/Ncmpa וְ/טָמֵ֖א 𐤅/𐤈𐤌𐤀 vetame and-unclean HC/Vqq3ms עַד 𐤏𐤃 ad until HR הָ/עָֽרֶב 𐤄/𐤏𐤓𐤁 haarev the-evening HTd/Ncmsa

and-shall-gather a-man clean [direct object marker] ashes of-the-heifer and-shall-deposit outside the-camp in-a-place clean and-it-shall-be for-the-congregation of-sons Israel for-keeping for-waters of-impurity sin-offering it

9 וְ/אָסַ֣ף 𐤅/𐤀𐤎𐤐 veasaf and-shall-gather HC/Vqq3ms אִ֣ישׁ 𐤀𐤉𐤔 ish a-man HNcmsa טָה֗וֹר 𐤈𐤄𐤅𐤓 tahor clean HAamsa אֵ֚ת 𐤀𐤕 et [direct object marker] HTo אֵ֣פֶר 𐤀𐤐𐤓 efer ashes HNcmsc הַ/פָּרָ֔ה 𐤄/𐤐𐤓𐤄 haparah of-the-heifer HTd/Ncfsa וְ/הִנִּ֛יחַ 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤉𐤇 vehinicha and-shall-deposit HC/Vhq3ms מִ/ח֥וּץ 𐤌/𐤇𐤅𐤑 michuts outside HR/Ncmsa לַֽ/מַּחֲנֶ֖ה 𐤋/𐤌𐤇𐤍𐤄 lamachaneh the-camp HRd/Ncbsa בְּ/מָק֣וֹם 𐤁/𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤌 bemaqom in-a-place HR/Ncmsa טָה֑וֹר 𐤈𐤄𐤅𐤓 tahor-2 clean HAamsa וְ֠/הָיְתָה 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤕𐤄 vehayetah and-it-shall-be HC/Vqq3fs לַ/עֲדַ֨ת 𐤋/𐤏𐤃𐤕 laadat for-the-congregation HR/Ncfsc בְּנֵֽי 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) of-sons HNcmpc יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp לְ/מִשְׁמֶ֛רֶת 𐤋/𐤌𐤔𐤌𐤓𐤕 lemishemeret for-keeping HR/Ncfsa לְ/מֵ֥י 𐤋/𐤌𐤉 lemey Amanzi (Zulu) for-waters HR/Ncmpc נִדָּ֖ה 𐤍𐤃𐤄 nidah of-impurity HNcfsa חַטָּ֥את 𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 chatat sin-offering HNcfsa הִֽוא 𐤄𐤅𐤀 hiv it HPp3fs

and he shall wash the one who gathers [direct object marker] ashes of the heifer [direct object marker] his clothes and be unclean until the evening and it shall be to the sons of Israel and to the sojourner who sojourns among them a statute forever

the one who touches a dead body of any person human shall be unclean seven days

11 הַ/נֹּגֵ֥עַ 𐤄/𐤍𐤂𐤏 hanogea the one who touches HTd/Vqrmsa בְּ/מֵ֖ת 𐤁/𐤌𐤕 bemet a dead body HR/Vqrmsa לְ/כָל 𐤋/𐤊𐤋 lekhal of any HR/Ncmsc נֶ֣פֶשׁ 𐤍𐤐𐤔 nefesh person HNcbsa אָדָ֑ם 𐤀𐤃𐤌 adam human HNcmsa וְ/טָמֵ֖א 𐤅/𐤈𐤌𐤀 vetame shall be unclean HC/Vqq3ms שִׁבְעַ֥ת 𐤔𐤁𐤏𐤕 shiveat seven HAcmsc יָמִֽים 𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 yamim days HNcmpa

He shall purify himself with it on the day third and on the day seventh he shall be clean But if not he purifies himself on the day third and on the day seventh not he shall be clean

12 ה֣וּא 𐤄𐤅𐤀 hu He HPp3ms יִתְחַטָּא 𐤉𐤕𐤇𐤈𐤀 yitechata shall purify himself HVti3ms ב֞/וֹ 𐤁/𐤅 vo with it HR/Sp3ms בַּ/יּ֧וֹם 𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 bayom on the day HRd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁלִישִׁ֛י 𐤄/𐤔𐤋𐤉𐤔𐤉 hashelishi third HTd/Aomsa וּ/בַ/יּ֥וֹם 𐤅/𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 uvayom and on the day HC/Rd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁבִיעִ֖י 𐤄/𐤔𐤁𐤉𐤏𐤉 hashevii seventh HTd/Aomsa יִטְהָ֑ר 𐤉𐤈𐤄𐤓 yitehar he shall be clean HVqi3ms וְ/אִם 𐤅/𐤀𐤌 veim But if HC/C לֹ֨א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn יִתְחַטָּ֜א 𐤉𐤕𐤇𐤈𐤀 yitechata-2 he purifies himself HVti3ms בַּ/יּ֧וֹם 𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 bayom-2 on the day HRd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁלִישִׁ֛י 𐤄/𐤔𐤋𐤉𐤔𐤉 hashelishi-2 third HTd/Aomsa וּ/בַ/יּ֥וֹם 𐤅/𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 uvayom-2 and on the day HC/Rd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁבִיעִ֖י 𐤄/𐤔𐤁𐤉𐤏𐤉 hashevii-2 seventh HTd/Aomsa לֹ֥א 𐤋𐤀 lo-2 not HTn יִטְהָֽר 𐤉𐤈𐤄𐤓 yitehar-2 he shall be clean HVqi3ms

Whoever touches a dead person the body of any man who has died and does not cleanse himself the tabernacle of YHWH defiles and shall be cut off that person that from Israel because the water for impurity was not thrown on him unclean he shall be still his uncleanness is on him

This is the law a man when dies in a tent all who comes into the tent and all who is in the tent shall be unclean seven days

And every vessel open which there is not covering cord on it unclean it

15 וְ/כֹל֙ 𐤅/𐤊𐤋 vekhol And every HC/Ncmsc כְּלִ֣י 𐤊𐤋𐤉 keli vessel HNcmsa פָת֔וּחַ 𐤐𐤕𐤅𐤇 fatucha open HVqsmsa אֲשֶׁ֛ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr אֵין 𐤀𐤉𐤍 eyn there is not HTn צָמִ֥יד 𐤑𐤌𐤉𐤃 tsamid covering HNcmsc פָּתִ֖יל 𐤐𐤕𐤉𐤋 patil cord HNcmsa עָלָ֑י/ו 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤅 alayv on it HR/Sp3ms טָמֵ֖א 𐤈𐤌𐤀 tame unclean HAamsa הֽוּא 𐤄𐤅𐤀 hu it HPp3ms

And anyone who touches upon the face of the field a slain person of a sword or a dead body or a bone of man or a grave he shall be unclean seven days

they shall take for the unclean some of the dust of the burning of the sin offering and put on it water living into a vessel

17 וְ/לָֽקְחוּ֙ 𐤅/𐤋𐤒𐤇𐤅 velaqechu they shall take HC/Vqq3cp לַ/טָּמֵ֔א 𐤋/𐤈𐤌𐤀 latame for the unclean HRd/Aamsa מֵ/עֲפַ֖ר 𐤌/𐤏𐤐𐤓 meafar some of the dust HR/Ncmsc שְׂרֵפַ֣ת 𐤔𐤓𐤐𐤕 serefat of the burning HNcfsc הַֽ/חַטָּ֑את 𐤄/𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕 hachatat of the sin offering HTd/Ncfsa וְ/נָתַ֥ן 𐤅/𐤍𐤕𐤍 venatan and put HC/Vqq3ms עָלָ֛י/ו 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤅 alayv on it HR/Sp3ms מַ֥יִם 𐤌𐤉𐤌 mayim Amanzi (Zulu) water HNcmpa חַיִּ֖ים 𐤇𐤉𐤉𐤌 chayim living HAampa אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el into HR כֶּֽלִי 𐤊𐤋𐤉 keli a vessel HNcmsa

and shall take hyssop and dip in the water a man clean and sprinkle upon the tent and upon all the vessels and upon the persons that were there and upon him that touched a bone or the slain or the dead or a grave

and-shall-sprinkle the-clean-[person] upon the-unclean-[person] on-the-day the-third and-on-the-day the-seventh and-he-shall-purify-him on-the-day the-seventh and-he-shall-wash his-clothes and-he-shall-bathe in-the-waters and-he-shall-be-clean in-the-evening

19 וְ/הִזָּ֤ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤆𐤄 vehizah and-shall-sprinkle HC/Vhq3ms הַ/טָּהֹר֙ 𐤄/𐤈𐤄𐤓 hatahor the-clean-[person] HTd/Aamsa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al upon HR הַ/טָּמֵ֔א 𐤄/𐤈𐤌𐤀 hatame the-unclean-[person] HTd/Aamsa בַּ/יּ֥וֹם 𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 bayom on-the-day HRd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁלִישִׁ֖י 𐤄/𐤔𐤋𐤉𐤔𐤉 hashelishi the-third HTd/Aomsa וּ/בַ/יּ֣וֹם 𐤅/𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 uvayom and-on-the-day HC/Rd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁבִיעִ֑י 𐤄/𐤔𐤁𐤉𐤏𐤉 hashevii the-seventh HTd/Aomsa וְ/חִטְּא/וֹ֙ 𐤅/𐤇𐤈𐤀/𐤅 vechiteo and-he-shall-purify-him HC/Vpq3ms/Sp3ms בַּ/יּ֣וֹם 𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 bayom-2 on-the-day HRd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁבִיעִ֔י 𐤄/𐤔𐤁𐤉𐤏𐤉 hashevii-2 the-seventh HTd/Aomsa וְ/כִבֶּ֧ס 𐤅/𐤊𐤁𐤎 vekhibes and-he-shall-wash HC/Vpq3ms בְּגָדָ֛י/ו 𐤁𐤂𐤃𐤉/𐤅 begadayv his-clothes HNcmpc/Sp3ms וְ/רָחַ֥ץ 𐤅/𐤓𐤇𐤑 verachats and-he-shall-bathe HC/Vqq3ms בַּ/מַּ֖יִם 𐤁/𐤌𐤉𐤌 bamayim Amanzi (Zulu) in-the-waters HRd/Ncmpa וְ/טָהֵ֥ר 𐤅/𐤈𐤄𐤓 vetaher and-he-shall-be-clean HC/Vqq3ms בָּ/עָֽרֶב 𐤁/𐤏𐤓𐤁 baarev in-the-evening HRd/Ncmsa

But the man who is unclean and does not purify himself shall be cut off that person that from the midst of the assembly because the sanctuary of YHWH he has defiled water of impurity not been thrown on him unclean he is

And it shall be for them a statute forever And the one who sprinkles the waters of impurity shall wash his clothes and whoever touches the waters of impurity shall be unclean until evening
