and lay down Jehoshaphat with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David and reigned Jehoram his son in his place

and to him brothers sons of Jehoshaphat Azariah and Jehiel and Zechariah and Azariah and Michael and Shephatiah all these sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel

and he gave to them their father gifts many of silver and of gold and of precious things with cities fortified in Judah and the kingdom he gave to Jehoram because he was the firstborn

and he arose Jehoram over kingdom his father and he strengthened himself and he killed [direct object marker] all his brothers with the sword and also of princes Israel

son thirty and-two year Jehoram when he became king and-eight years he reigned in Jerusalem

and he walked in the way of kings of Israel as they had done house of Ahab for daughter of Ahab was to him a wife and he did the evil in the eyes of YHWH

In his days rebelled Edom from under hand Judah and they made king over themselves a king

8 בְּ/יָמָי/ו֙ 𐤁/𐤉𐤌𐤉/𐤅 beyamayv In his days HR/Ncmpc/Sp3ms פָּשַׁ֣ע 𐤐𐤔𐤏 pasha rebelled HVqp3ms אֱד֔וֹם 𐤀𐤃𐤅𐤌 edom Edom HNp מִ/תַּ֖חַת 𐤌/𐤕𐤇𐤕 mitachat from under HR/R יַד 𐤉𐤃 yad hand HNcbsc יְהוּדָ֑ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 yehudah Judah HNp וַ/יַּמְלִ֥יכוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤌𐤋𐤉𐤊𐤅 vayamelikhu and they made king HC/Vhw3mp עֲלֵי/הֶ֖ם 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤄𐤌 aleyhem over themselves HR/Sp3mp מֶֽלֶךְ 𐤌𐤋𐤊 melekhe a king HNcmsa

Then he crossed over Jehoram with his commanders and all the chariots with him and he arose arising by night and he struck [direct object marker] Edom who were surrounding him and [direct object marker] commanders of the chariots

also he made high-places in-the-mountains-of Judah and-he-caused-to-prostitute [direct object marker] inhabitants-of Jerusalem and-he-led-astray [direct object marker] Judah

and came to him a letter from Elijah the prophet saying Thus says YHWH God David your father because that not you have walked in the ways Jehoshaphat your father and in the ways Asa king Judah

and you have walked in the way of kings of Israel and you have caused to prostitute [direct object marker] Judah and-[direct object marker] inhabitants of Jerusalem like the prostitutions of house of Ahab and also [direct object marker] your brothers house of your father who were better than you you have killed
