And said Abner to David I will arise and go and will gather to my lord the king (direct object marker) all Israel and they may cut/make with you a covenant and you shall reign over all that desires your soul And sent David (direct object marker) Abner and he went in peace

And behold the servants of David and Joab came from the raid and spoil much with them they brought but Abner was not with David in Hebron for he had sent him away and he went in peace

and Joab and all the army that with him had come and they told to Joab saying came Abner son of Ner to the king and he sent him away and he went in peace

Then Joab came Joab to the king and said What have you done Behold came Abner to you Why is it that you have sent him away and he went away

and he went out Joab from with David and he sent messengers after Abner and they brought back him from the well of Sirah and David not knew

And the king lamented the king for Abner and said like the death of a fool dies Abner
