in the month the third of the going out of the sons Israel from the land of Egypt on the day this they came wilderness of Sinai

and they journeyed from Rephidim and they came wilderness of Sinai and they encamped in the wilderness and it encamped there Israel before the mountain

2 וַ/יִּסְע֣וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤎𐤏𐤅 vayiseu and they journeyed HC/Vqw3mp מֵ/רְפִידִ֗ים 𐤌/𐤓𐤐𐤉𐤃𐤉𐤌 merefidim from Rephidim HR/Np וַ/יָּבֹ֨אוּ֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤁𐤀𐤅 vayavou and they came HC/Vqw3mp מִדְבַּ֣ר 𐤌𐤃𐤁𐤓 midebar wilderness HNcmsc סִינַ֔י 𐤎𐤉𐤍𐤉 sinay of Sinai HNp וַֽ/יַּחֲנ֖וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤇𐤍𐤅 vayachanu and they encamped HC/Vqw3mp בַּ/מִּדְבָּ֑ר 𐤁/𐤌𐤃𐤁𐤓 bamidebar in the wilderness HRd/Ncmsa וַ/יִּֽחַן 𐤅/𐤉𐤇𐤍 vayichan and it encamped HC/Vqw3ms שָׁ֥ם 𐤔𐤌 sham there HD יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp נֶ֥גֶד 𐤍𐤂𐤃 neged before HR הָ/הָֽר 𐤄/𐤄𐤓 hahar the mountain HTd/Ncmsa

and Moses went up to God and called to him YHWH from the mountain saying Thus you shall say to house of Jacob and tell to sons of Israel

You have seen what I did to Egypt and I bore you on wings of eagles and brought you to Myself

and now if surely listening you will obey in My voice and you shall keep [[direct object marker]] My covenant then you shall be to Me treasured possession from/among all the peoples for to Me all the earth

and-you shall be to-me kingdom of priests and nation holy these the words that you shall speak to sons of Israel

6 וְ/אַתֶּ֧ם 𐤅/𐤀𐤕𐤌 veatem and-you HC/Pp2mp תִּהְיוּ 𐤕𐤄𐤉𐤅 tiheyu shall be HVqi2mp לִ֛/י 𐤋/𐤉 li to-me HR/Sp1cs מַמְלֶ֥כֶת 𐤌𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤕 mamelekhet kingdom HNcfsc כֹּהֲנִ֖ים 𐤊𐤄𐤍𐤉𐤌 kohanim of priests HNcmpa וְ/ג֣וֹי 𐤅/𐤂𐤅𐤉 vegoy and nation HC/Ncmsa קָד֑וֹשׁ 𐤒𐤃𐤅𐤔 qadosh holy HAamsa אֵ֚לֶּה 𐤀𐤋𐤄 eleh these HPdxcp הַ/דְּבָרִ֔ים 𐤄/𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉𐤌 hadevarim the words HTd/Ncmpa אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr תְּדַבֵּ֖ר 𐤕𐤃𐤁𐤓 tedaber you shall speak HVpi2ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR בְּנֵ֥י 𐤁𐤍𐤉 beney Bene (Bemba) sons of HNcmpc יִשְׂרָאֵֽל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael Israel HNp

and came Moses and called to the elders of the people and set before them all the words these which he commanded him YHWH

7 וַ/יָּבֹ֣א 𐤅/𐤉𐤁𐤀 vayavo and came HC/Vqw3ms מֹשֶׁ֔ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp וַ/יִּקְרָ֖א 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤀 vayiqera and called HC/Vqw3ms לְ/זִקְנֵ֣י 𐤋/𐤆𐤒𐤍𐤉 leziqeney to the elders HR/Aampc הָ/עָ֑ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam of the people HTd/Ncmsa וַ/יָּ֣שֶׂם 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤌 vayasem and set HC/Vqw3ms לִ/פְנֵי/הֶ֗ם 𐤋/𐤐𐤍𐤉/𐤄𐤌 lifeneyhem before them HR/Ncbpc/Sp3mp אֵ֚ת 𐤀𐤕 et HTo כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal all HNcmsc הַ/דְּבָרִ֣ים 𐤄/𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉𐤌 hadevarim the words HTd/Ncmpa הָ/אֵ֔לֶּה 𐤄/𐤀𐤋𐤄 haeleh these HTd/Pdxcp אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher which HTr צִוָּ֖/הוּ 𐤑𐤅/𐤄𐤅 tsivahu he commanded him HVpp3ms/Sp3ms יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

and they answered all the people together and they said all that has spoken YHWH we will do and he brought back Moses (direct object marker) the words of the people to YHWH

8 וַ/יַּעֲנ֨וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤍𐤅 vayaanu and they answered HC/Vqw3mp כָל 𐤊𐤋 khal all HNcmsc הָ/עָ֤ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa יַחְדָּו֙ 𐤉𐤇𐤃𐤅 yachedav together HD וַ/יֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓𐤅 vayomeru and they said HC/Vqw3mp כֹּ֛ל 𐤊𐤋 kol all HNcmsa אֲשֶׁר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr דִּבֶּ֥ר 𐤃𐤁𐤓 diber has spoken HVpp3ms יְהוָ֖ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp נַעֲשֶׂ֑ה 𐤍𐤏𐤔𐤄 naaseh we will do HVqi1cp וַ/יָּ֧שֶׁב 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤁 vayashev and he brought back HC/Vhw3ms מֹשֶׁ֛ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et (direct object marker) HTo דִּבְרֵ֥י 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉 diverey the words HNcmpc הָ/עָ֖ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam-2 of the people HTd/Ncmsa אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

And He said YHWH to Moses Behold I am coming to you in the cloud of the cloud in order that may hear the people when I speak with you and also in you they may believe forever And he told Moses the words of the people to YHWH

9 וַ/יֹּ֨אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And He said HC/Vqw3ms יְהוָ֜ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR מֹשֶׁ֗ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp הִנֵּ֨ה 𐤄𐤍𐤄 hineh Behold HTm אָנֹכִ֜י 𐤀𐤍𐤊𐤉 anokhi I HPp1cs בָּ֣א 𐤁𐤀 ba am coming HVqrmsa אֵלֶי/ךָ֮ 𐤀𐤋𐤉/𐤊 eleykha to you HR/Sp2ms בְּ/עַ֣ב 𐤁/𐤏𐤁 beav in the cloud HR/Ncbsc הֶֽ/עָנָן֒ 𐤄/𐤏𐤍𐤍 heanan of the cloud HTd/Ncmsa בַּ/עֲב֞וּר 𐤁/𐤏𐤁𐤅𐤓 baavur in order that HR/Ncmsc יִשְׁמַ֤ע 𐤉𐤔𐤌𐤏 yishema may hear HVqi3ms הָ/עָם֙ 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa בְּ/דַבְּרִ֣/י 𐤁/𐤃𐤁𐤓/𐤉 bedaberi when I speak HR/Vpc/Sp1cs עִמָּ֔/ךְ 𐤏𐤌/𐤊 imakhe with you HR/Sp2fs וְ/גַם 𐤅/𐤂𐤌 vegam and also HC/Ta בְּ/ךָ֖ 𐤁/𐤊 bekha in you HR/Sp2ms יַאֲמִ֣ינוּ 𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤅 yaaminu they may believe HVhi3mp לְ/עוֹלָ֑ם 𐤋/𐤏𐤅𐤋𐤌 leolam forever HR/Ncmsa וַ/יַּגֵּ֥ד 𐤅/𐤉𐤂𐤃 vayaged And he told HC/Vhw3ms מֹשֶׁ֛ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh-2 Moses HNp אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et HTo דִּבְרֵ֥י 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉 diverey the words HNcmpc הָ/עָ֖ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam-2 of the people HTd/Ncmsa אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el-2 to HR יְהוָֽה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah-2 Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp

And He said YHWH to Moses Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow and let them wash their clothes

10 וַ/יֹּ֨אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And He said HC/Vqw3ms יְהוָ֤ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR מֹשֶׁה֙ 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp לֵ֣ךְ 𐤋𐤊 lekhe Go HVqv2ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el-2 to HR הָ/עָ֔ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa וְ/קִדַּשְׁתָּ֥/ם 𐤅/𐤒𐤃𐤔𐤕/𐤌 veqidashetam and consecrate them HC/Vpq2ms/Sp3mp הַ/יּ֖וֹם 𐤄/𐤉𐤅𐤌 hayom today HTd/Ncmsa וּ/מָחָ֑ר 𐤅/𐤌𐤇𐤓 umachar and tomorrow HC/Ncmsa וְ/כִבְּס֖וּ 𐤅/𐤊𐤁𐤎𐤅 vekhibesu and let them wash HC/Vpq3cp שִׂמְלֹתָֽ/ם 𐤔𐤌𐤋𐤕/𐤌 simelotam their clothes HNcfpc/Sp3mp

and they shall be prepared for the day the third for on the day the third will come down YHWH in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai

11 וְ/הָי֥וּ 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤅 vehayu and they shall be HC/Vqq3cp נְכֹנִ֖ים 𐤍𐤊𐤍𐤉𐤌 nekhonim prepared HVNrmpa לַ/יּ֣וֹם 𐤋/𐤉𐤅𐤌 layom for the day HRd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁלִישִׁ֑י 𐤄/𐤔𐤋𐤉𐤔𐤉 hashelishi the third HTd/Aomsa כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC בַּ/יּ֣וֹם 𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 bayom on the day HRd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁלִישִׁ֗י 𐤄/𐤔𐤋𐤉𐤔𐤉 hashelishi-2 the third HTd/Aomsa יֵרֵ֧ד 𐤉𐤓𐤃 yered will come down HVqi3ms יְהוָ֛ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp לְ/עֵינֵ֥י 𐤋/𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉 leeyney in the sight of HR/Ncbdc כָל 𐤊𐤋 khal all HNcmsc הָ/עָ֖ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al upon HR הַ֥ר 𐤄𐤓 har Mount HNcmsc סִינָֽי 𐤎𐤉𐤍𐤉 sinay Sinai HNp

you shall set bounds for the people all around saying take heed to yourselves of going up the mountain or touching its border whoever touches the mountain death shall be put to death

12 וְ/הִגְבַּלְתָּ֤ 𐤅/𐤄𐤂𐤁𐤋𐤕 vehigebaleta you shall set bounds HC/Vhq2ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et for HTo הָ/עָם֙ 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa סָבִ֣יב 𐤎𐤁𐤉𐤁 saviv all around HNcbsa לֵ/אמֹ֔ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc הִשָּׁמְר֥וּ 𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤓𐤅 hishameru take heed HVNv2mp לָ/כֶ֛ם 𐤋/𐤊𐤌 lakhem to yourselves HR/Sp2mp עֲל֥וֹת 𐤏𐤋𐤅𐤕 alot of going up HVqc בָּ/הָ֖ר 𐤁/𐤄𐤓 bahar the mountain HRd/Ncmsa וּ/נְגֹ֣עַ 𐤅/𐤍𐤂𐤏 unegoa or touching HC/Vqc בְּ/קָצֵ֑/הוּ 𐤁/𐤒𐤑/𐤄𐤅 beqatsehu its border HR/Ncbsc/Sp3ms כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal whoever HNcmsc הַ/נֹּגֵ֥עַ 𐤄/𐤍𐤂𐤏 hanogea touches HTd/Vqrmsa בָּ/הָ֖ר 𐤁/𐤄𐤓 bahar-2 the mountain HRd/Ncmsa מ֥וֹת 𐤌𐤅𐤕 mot death HVqa יוּמָֽת 𐤉𐤅𐤌𐤕 yumat shall be put to death HVHi3ms

not shall touch in it hand for stoning he shall be stoned or shooting he shall be shot whether beast or man not shall live in drawing the ram's horn they shall come up to the mount

13 לֹא 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn תִגַּ֨ע 𐤕𐤂𐤏 tiga shall touch HVqi3fs בּ֜/וֹ 𐤁/𐤅 bo in it HR/Sp3ms יָ֗ד 𐤉𐤃 yad hand HNcbsa כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC סָק֤וֹל 𐤎𐤒𐤅𐤋 saqol stoning HVqa יִסָּקֵל֙ 𐤉𐤎𐤒𐤋 yisaqel he shall be stoned HVNi3ms אוֹ 𐤀𐤅 o or HC יָרֹ֣ה 𐤉𐤓𐤄 yaroh shooting HVqa יִיָּרֶ֔ה 𐤉𐤉𐤓𐤄 yiyareh he shall be shot HVNi3ms אִם 𐤀𐤌 im whether HC בְּהֵמָ֥ה 𐤁𐤄𐤌𐤄 behemah beast HNcfsa אִם 𐤀𐤌 im-2 or HC אִ֖ישׁ 𐤀𐤉𐤔 ish man HNcmsa לֹ֣א 𐤋𐤀 lo-2 not HTn יִחְיֶ֑ה 𐤉𐤇𐤉𐤄 yicheyeh shall live HVqi3ms בִּ/מְשֹׁךְ֙ 𐤁/𐤌𐤔𐤊 bimeshokhe in drawing HR/Vqc הַ/יֹּבֵ֔ל 𐤄/𐤉𐤁𐤋 hayovel the ram's horn HTd/Ncmsa הֵ֖מָּה 𐤄𐤌𐤄 hemah they HPp3mp יַעֲל֥וּ 𐤉𐤏𐤋𐤅 yaalu shall come up HVqi3mp בָ/הָֽר 𐤁/𐤄𐤓 vahar to the mount HRd/Ncmsa

went down Moses from the mountain to the people and consecrated direct object marker the people and they washed their garments

14 וַ/יֵּ֧רֶד 𐤅/𐤉𐤓𐤃 vayered went down HC/Vqw3ms מֹשֶׁ֛ה 𐤌𐤔𐤄 mosheh Moses HNp מִן 𐤌𐤍 min from HR הָ/הָ֖ר 𐤄/𐤄𐤓 hahar the mountain HTd/Ncmsa אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR הָ/עָ֑ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa וַ/יְקַדֵּשׁ֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤃𐤔 vayeqadesh and consecrated HC/Vpw3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et direct object marker HTo הָ/עָ֔ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam-2 the people HTd/Ncmsa וַֽ/יְכַבְּס֖וּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤊𐤁𐤎𐤅 vayekhabesu and they washed HC/Vpw3mp שִׂמְלֹתָֽ/ם 𐤔𐤌𐤋𐤕/𐤌 simelotam their garments HNcfpc/Sp3mp

And he said to the people Be ready for three days do not go near to a woman

And it came to pass on the day the third when it was the morning and there was thunders and lightnings and a cloud heavy on the mountain and a sound of trumpet loud very and trembled all the people that in the camp

16 וַ/יְהִי֩ 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi And it came to pass HC/Vqw3ms בַ/יּ֨וֹם 𐤁/𐤉𐤅𐤌 vayom on the day HRd/Ncmsa הַ/שְּׁלִישִׁ֜י 𐤄/𐤔𐤋𐤉𐤔𐤉 hashelishi the third HTd/Aomsa בִּֽ/הְיֹ֣ת 𐤁/𐤄𐤉𐤕 biheyot when it was HR/Vqc הַ/בֹּ֗קֶר 𐤄/𐤁𐤒𐤓 haboqer the morning HTd/Ncmsa וַ/יְהִי֩ 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi-2 and there was HC/Vqw3ms קֹלֹ֨ת 𐤒𐤋𐤕 qolot thunders HNcmpa וּ/בְרָקִ֜ים 𐤅/𐤁𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤌 uveraqim and lightnings HC/Ncmpa וְ/עָנָ֤ן 𐤅/𐤏𐤍𐤍 veanan and a cloud HC/Ncmsa כָּבֵד֙ 𐤊𐤁𐤃 kaved heavy HAamsa עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on HR הָ/הָ֔ר 𐤄/𐤄𐤓 hahar the mountain HTd/Ncmsa וְ/קֹ֥ל 𐤅/𐤒𐤋 veqol and a sound HC/Ncmsc שֹׁפָ֖ר 𐤔𐤐𐤓 shofar of trumpet HNcmsa חָזָ֣ק 𐤇𐤆𐤒 chazaq loud HAamsa מְאֹ֑ד 𐤌𐤀𐤃 meod very HD וַ/יֶּחֱרַ֥ד 𐤅/𐤉𐤇𐤓𐤃 vayecherad and trembled HC/Vqw3ms כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal all HNcmsc הָ/עָ֖ם 𐤄/𐤏𐤌 haam the people HTd/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁ֥ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr בַּֽ/מַּחֲנֶֽה 𐤁/𐤌𐤇𐤍𐤄 bamachaneh in the camp HRd/Ncbsa

and brought out Moses [direct object marker] the people to meet God out of the camp and they stood at the foot of the mountain

And Mount Sinai was smoking all of it because of that had descended upon it YHWH in fire and went up its smoke like smoke of a furnace and trembled all the mountain greatly

And it was the sound of the trumpet going and strong very Moses was speaking and God answered him with a voice

and said YHWH to Moses go down warn the people lest they break through to YHWH to gaze and fall from him many

And also the priests who approach to YHWH consecrate themselves lest break out against them YHWH

And said Moses to YHWH not able the people to go up to Mount Sinai for you warned us saying set bounds the mountain and consecrate it

and said to him YHWH go get down and you shall come up you and Aaron with you and the priests and the people not break through to come up to YHWH lest he break out against them
