I will sing now to my beloved song of my beloved concerning his vineyard vineyard was to my beloved on a horn son of oil

1 אָשִׁ֤ירָה 𐤀𐤔𐤉𐤓𐤄 ashirah I will sing HVqh1cs נָּא֙ 𐤍𐤀 na now HTj לִֽ/ידִידִ֔/י 𐤋/𐤉𐤃𐤉𐤃/𐤉 lididi to my beloved HR/Aamsc/Sp1cs שִׁירַ֥ת 𐤔𐤉𐤓𐤕 shirat song of HNcbsc דּוֹדִ֖/י 𐤃𐤅𐤃/𐤉 dodi my beloved HNcmsc/Sp1cs לְ/כַרְמ֑/וֹ 𐤋/𐤊𐤓𐤌/𐤅 lekharemo concerning his vineyard HR/Ncbsc/Sp3ms כֶּ֛רֶם 𐤊𐤓𐤌 kerem vineyard HNcbsa הָיָ֥ה 𐤄𐤉𐤄 hayah was HVqp3ms לִֽ/ידִידִ֖/י 𐤋/𐤉𐤃𐤉𐤃/𐤉 lididi-2 to my beloved HR/Aamsc/Sp1cs בְּ/קֶ֥רֶן 𐤁/𐤒𐤓𐤍 beqeren on a horn HR/Ncbsc בֶּן 𐤁𐤍 ben Bene (Bemba) son of HNcmsc שָֽׁמֶן 𐤔𐤌𐤍 shamen oil HNcmsa

and he fenced it and gathered out its stones and planted it choice vine and he built a tower in the midst of it and also winepress hewed in it and he waited to produce grapes and it produced wild grapes

2 וַֽ/יְעַזְּקֵ֣/הוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤆𐤒/𐤄𐤅 vayeazeqehu and he fenced it HC/Vpw3ms/Sp3ms וַֽ/יְסַקְּלֵ֗/הוּ 𐤅/𐤉𐤎𐤒𐤋/𐤄𐤅 vayesaqelehu and gathered out its stones HC/Vpw3ms/Sp3ms וַ/יִּטָּעֵ֨/הוּ֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤈𐤏/𐤄𐤅 vayitaehu and planted it HC/Vqw3ms/Sp3ms שֹׂרֵ֔ק 𐤔𐤓𐤒 soreq choice vine HNcmsa וַ/יִּ֤בֶן 𐤅/𐤉𐤁𐤍 vayiven and he built HC/Vqw3ms מִגְדָּל֙ 𐤌𐤂𐤃𐤋 migedal a tower HNcbsa בְּ/תוֹכ֔/וֹ 𐤁/𐤕𐤅𐤊/𐤅 betokho in the midst of it HR/Ncmsc/Sp3ms וְ/גַם 𐤅/𐤂𐤌 vegam and also HC/Ta יֶ֖קֶב 𐤉𐤒𐤁 yeqev winepress HNcmsa חָצֵ֣ב 𐤇𐤑𐤁 chatsev hewed HVqp3ms בּ֑/וֹ 𐤁/𐤅 bo in it HR/Sp3ms וַ/יְקַ֛ו 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤅 vayeqav and he waited HC/Vpw3ms לַ/עֲשׂ֥וֹת 𐤋/𐤏𐤔𐤅𐤕 laasot to produce HR/Vqc עֲנָבִ֖ים 𐤏𐤍𐤁𐤉𐤌 anavim grapes HNcmpa וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤔 vayaas and it produced HC/Vqw3ms בְּאֻשִֽׁים 𐤁𐤀𐤔𐤉𐤌 beushim wild grapes HNcmpa

And now inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah judge please between me and between my vineyard

3 וְ/עַתָּ֛ה 𐤅/𐤏𐤕𐤄 veatah And now HC/D יוֹשֵׁ֥ב 𐤉𐤅𐤔𐤁 yoshev inhabitants HVqrmsc יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם 𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌 yerushalaim of Jerusalem HNp וְ/אִ֣ישׁ 𐤅/𐤀𐤉𐤔 veish and men HC/Ncmsc יְהוּדָ֑ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 yehudah of Judah HNp שִׁפְטוּ 𐤔𐤐𐤈𐤅 shifetu judge HVqv2mp נָ֕א 𐤍𐤀 na please HTe בֵּינִ֖/י 𐤁𐤉𐤍/𐤉 beyni between me HR/Sp1cs וּ/בֵ֥ין 𐤅/𐤁𐤉𐤍 uveyn and between HC/R כַּרְמִֽ/י 𐤊𐤓𐤌/𐤉 karemi my vineyard HNcbsc/Sp1cs

What more to do more for my vineyard and not have I done in it Why did I expect to produce grapes and it produced wild grapes

4 מַה 𐤌𐤄 mah What HTi לַּ/עֲשׂ֥וֹת 𐤋/𐤏𐤔𐤅𐤕 laasot more to do HR/Vqc עוֹד֙ 𐤏𐤅𐤃 od more HD לְ/כַרְמִ֔/י 𐤋/𐤊𐤓𐤌/𐤉 lekharemi for my vineyard HR/Ncbsc/Sp1cs וְ/לֹ֥א 𐤅/𐤋𐤀 velo and not HC/Tn עָשִׂ֖יתִי 𐤏𐤔𐤉𐤕𐤉 asiti have I done HVqp1cs בּ֑/וֹ 𐤁/𐤅 bo in it HR/Sp3ms מַדּ֧וּעַ 𐤌𐤃𐤅𐤏 madua Why HTi קִוֵּ֛יתִי 𐤒𐤅𐤉𐤕𐤉 qiveyti did I expect HVpp1cs לַ/עֲשׂ֥וֹת 𐤋/𐤏𐤔𐤅𐤕 laasot-2 to produce HR/Vqc עֲנָבִ֖ים 𐤏𐤍𐤁𐤉𐤌 anavim grapes HNcmpa וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤔 vayaas and it produced HC/Vqw3ms בְּאֻשִֽׁים 𐤁𐤀𐤔𐤉𐤌 beushim wild grapes HNcmpa

And now I will tell please you what that I am doing to my vineyard I will remove its hedge and it shall be for burning break down its wall and it shall be for trampling

5 וְ/עַתָּה֙ 𐤅/𐤏𐤕𐤄 veatah And now HC/D אוֹדִֽיעָה 𐤀𐤅𐤃𐤉𐤏𐤄 odiah I will tell HVhh1cs נָּ֣א 𐤍𐤀 na please HTj אֶתְ/כֶ֔ם 𐤀𐤕/𐤊𐤌 etekhem you HTo/Sp2mp אֵ֛ת 𐤀𐤕 et what HTo אֲשֶׁר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr אֲנִ֥י 𐤀𐤍𐤉 ani I HPp1cs עֹשֶׂ֖ה 𐤏𐤔𐤄 oseh am doing HVqrmsa לְ/כַרְמִ֑/י 𐤋/𐤊𐤓𐤌/𐤉 lekharemi to my vineyard HR/Ncbsc/Sp1cs הָסֵ֤ר 𐤄𐤎𐤓 haser I will remove HVha מְשׂוּכָּת/וֹ֙ 𐤌𐤔𐤅𐤊𐤕/𐤅 mesukato its hedge HNcfsc/Sp3ms וְ/הָיָ֣ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤄 vehayah and it shall be HC/Vqq3ms לְ/בָעֵ֔ר 𐤋/𐤁𐤏𐤓 levaer for burning HR/Vpc פָּרֹ֥ץ 𐤐𐤓𐤑 parots break down HVqa גְּדֵר֖/וֹ 𐤂𐤃𐤓/𐤅 gedero its wall HNcmsc/Sp3ms וְ/הָיָ֥ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤄 vehayah-2 and it shall be HC/Vqq3ms לְ/מִרְמָֽס 𐤋/𐤌𐤓𐤌𐤎 lemiremas for trampling HR/Ncmsa

and I will lay it waste not be pruned nor hoed and shall come up briers and thorns and upon the clouds I will command to rain upon it rain

6 וַ/אֲשִׁיתֵ֣/הוּ 𐤅/𐤀𐤔𐤉𐤕/𐤄𐤅 vaashitehu and I will lay it HC/Vqi1cs/Sp3ms בָתָ֗ה 𐤁𐤕𐤄 vatah waste HNcfsa לֹ֤א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn יִזָּמֵר֙ 𐤉𐤆𐤌𐤓 yizamer be pruned HVNi3ms וְ/לֹ֣א 𐤅/𐤋𐤀 velo nor HC/Tn יֵעָדֵ֔ר 𐤉𐤏𐤃𐤓 yeader hoed HVNi3ms וְ/עָלָ֥ה 𐤅/𐤏𐤋𐤄 vealah and shall come up HC/Vqq3ms שָׁמִ֖יר 𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤓 shamir briers HNcmsa וָ/שָׁ֑יִת 𐤅/𐤔𐤉𐤕 vashayit and thorns HC/Ncmsa וְ/עַ֤ל 𐤅/𐤏𐤋 veal and upon HC/R הֶ/עָבִים֙ 𐤄/𐤏𐤁𐤉𐤌 heavim the clouds HTd/Ncbpa אֲצַוֶּ֔ה 𐤀𐤑𐤅𐤄 atsaveh I will command HVpi1cs מֵ/הַמְטִ֥יר 𐤌/𐤄𐤌𐤈𐤉𐤓 mehametir to rain HR/Vhc עָלָ֖י/ו 𐤏𐤋𐤉/𐤅 alayv upon it HR/Sp3ms מָטָֽר 𐤌𐤈𐤓 matar rain HNcmsa

for vineyard YHWH of hosts house of Israel and men of Judah plant of his delight and he waited for justice and behold bloodshed for righteousness and behold a cry

7 כִּ֣י 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC כֶ֜רֶם 𐤊𐤓𐤌 kherem vineyard HNcbsc יְהוָ֤ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp צְבָאוֹת֙ 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 tsevaot of hosts HNcbpa בֵּ֣ית 𐤁𐤉𐤕 beyt house HNcmsc יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 yiserael of Israel HNp וְ/אִ֣ישׁ 𐤅/𐤀𐤉𐤔 veish and men HC/Ncmsc יְהוּדָ֔ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 yehudah of Judah HNp נְטַ֖ע 𐤍𐤈𐤏 neta plant HNcmsc שַׁעֲשׁוּעָ֑י/ו 𐤔𐤏𐤔𐤅𐤏𐤉/𐤅 shaashuayv of his delight HNcmpc/Sp3ms וַ/יְקַ֤ו 𐤅/𐤉𐤒𐤅 vayeqav and he waited HC/Vpw3ms לְ/מִשְׁפָּט֙ 𐤋/𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤈 lemishepat for justice HR/Ncmsa וְ/הִנֵּ֣ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤄 vehineh and behold HC/Tm מִשְׂפָּ֔ח 𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤇 misepach bloodshed HNcmsa לִ/צְדָקָ֖ה 𐤋/𐤑𐤃𐤒𐤄 litsedaqah for righteousness HR/Ncfsa וְ/הִנֵּ֥ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤄 vehineh-2 and behold HC/Tm צְעָקָֽה 𐤑𐤏𐤒𐤄 tseaqah a cry HNcfsa

Woe who add house to house field to field they join until no place and you will dwell alone in the midst of the land

8 ה֗וֹי 𐤄𐤅𐤉 hoy Woe HTj מַגִּיעֵ֥י 𐤌𐤂𐤉𐤏𐤉 magiey who add HVhrmpc בַ֨יִת֙ 𐤁𐤉𐤕 vayit house HNcmsa בְּ/בַ֔יִת 𐤁/𐤁𐤉𐤕 bevayit to house HR/Ncmsa שָׂדֶ֥ה 𐤔𐤃𐤄 sadeh field HNcmsa בְ/שָׂדֶ֖ה 𐤁/𐤔𐤃𐤄 vesadeh to field HR/Ncmsa יַקְרִ֑יבוּ 𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤉𐤁𐤅 yaqerivu they join HVhi3mp עַ֚ד 𐤏𐤃 ad until HR אֶ֣פֶס 𐤀𐤐𐤎 efes no HNcmsc מָק֔וֹם 𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤌 maqom place HNcmsa וְ/הֽוּשַׁבְתֶּ֥ם 𐤅/𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤁𐤕𐤌 vehushavetem and you will dwell HC/VHq2mp לְ/בַדְּ/כֶ֖ם 𐤋/𐤁𐤃/𐤊𐤌 levadekhem alone HR/Ncmsc/Sp2mp בְּ/קֶ֥רֶב 𐤁/𐤒𐤓𐤁 beqerev in the midst HR/Ncmsc הָ/אָֽרֶץ 𐤄/𐤀𐤓𐤑 haarets of the land HTd/Ncbsa

in-my-ears YHWH of-hosts if not houses many for-desolation shall-be great and-fair without inhabitant

9 בְּ/אָזְנָ֖/י 𐤁/𐤀𐤆𐤍/𐤉 beazenay in-my-ears HR/Ncfdc/Sp1cs יְהוָ֣ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp צְבָא֑וֹת 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 tsevaot of-hosts HNcbpa אִם 𐤀𐤌 im if HC לֹ֞א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn בָּתִּ֤ים 𐤁𐤕𐤉𐤌 batim houses HNcmpa רַבִּים֙ 𐤓𐤁𐤉𐤌 rabim many HAampa לְ/שַׁמָּ֣ה 𐤋/𐤔𐤌𐤄 leshamah for-desolation HR/Ncfsa יִֽהְי֔וּ 𐤉𐤄𐤉𐤅 yiheyu shall-be HVqi3mp גְּדֹלִ֥ים 𐤂𐤃𐤋𐤉𐤌 gedolim great HAampa וְ/טוֹבִ֖ים 𐤅/𐤈𐤅𐤁𐤉𐤌 vetovim and-fair HC/Aampa מֵ/אֵ֥ין 𐤌/𐤀𐤉𐤍 meeyn without HR/Tn יוֹשֵֽׁב 𐤉𐤅𐤔𐤁 yoshev inhabitant HVqrmsa

for ten acres vineyard shall yield bath one and seed homer shall yield ephah

10 כִּ֗י 𐤊𐤉 ki for HC עֲשֶׂ֨רֶת֙ 𐤏𐤔𐤓𐤕 aseret ten HAcmsc צִמְדֵּי 𐤑𐤌𐤃𐤉 tsimedey acres HNcmpc כֶ֔רֶם 𐤊𐤓𐤌 kherem vineyard HNcbsa יַעֲשׂ֖וּ 𐤉𐤏𐤔𐤅 yaasu shall yield HVqi3mp בַּ֣ת 𐤁𐤕 bat bath HNcbsa אֶחָ֑ת 𐤀𐤇𐤕 echat Eka (Bemba) one HAcfsa וְ/זֶ֥רַע 𐤅/𐤆𐤓𐤏 vezera and seed HC/Ncmsc חֹ֖מֶר 𐤇𐤌𐤓 chomer homer HNcmsa יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה 𐤉𐤏𐤔𐤄 yaaseh shall yield HVqi3ms אֵיפָֽה 𐤀𐤉𐤐𐤄 eyfah ephah HNcfsa

Woe who rise early in the morning strong drink they pursue who tarry until evening wine inflames them

11 ה֛וֹי 𐤄𐤅𐤉 hoy Woe HTj מַשְׁכִּימֵ֥י 𐤌𐤔𐤊𐤉𐤌𐤉 mashekimey who rise early HVhrmpc בַ/בֹּ֖קֶר 𐤁/𐤁𐤒𐤓 vaboqer in the morning HRd/Ncmsa שֵׁכָ֣ר 𐤔𐤊𐤓 shekhar strong drink HNcmsa יִרְדֹּ֑פוּ 𐤉𐤓𐤃𐤐𐤅 yiredofu they pursue HVqi3mp מְאַחֲרֵ֣י 𐤌𐤀𐤇𐤓𐤉 meacharey who tarry HVprmpc בַ/נֶּ֔שֶׁף 𐤁/𐤍𐤔𐤐 vaneshef until evening HRd/Ncmsa יַ֖יִן 𐤉𐤉𐤍 yayin wine HNcmsa יַדְלִיקֵֽ/ם 𐤉𐤃𐤋𐤉𐤒/𐤌 yadeliqem inflames them HVhi3ms/Sp3mp

And it will be harp and lyre tambourine and flute and wine at their feasts and deeds YHWH not they regard and work of his hands not they see

12 וְ/הָיָ֨ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤉𐤄 vehayah And it will be HC/Vqp3ms כִנּ֜וֹר 𐤊𐤍𐤅𐤓 khinor harp HNcmsa וָ/נֶ֗בֶל 𐤅/𐤍𐤁𐤋 vanevel and lyre HC/Ncmsa תֹּ֧ף 𐤕𐤐 tof tambourine HNcmsa וְ/חָלִ֛יל 𐤅/𐤇𐤋𐤉𐤋 vechalil and flute HC/Ncmsa וָ/יַ֖יִן 𐤅/𐤉𐤉𐤍 vayayin and wine HC/Ncmsa מִשְׁתֵּי/הֶ֑ם 𐤌𐤔𐤕𐤉/𐤄𐤌 misheteyhem at their feasts HNcmsc/Sp3mp וְ/אֵ֨ת 𐤅/𐤀𐤕 veet and HC/To פֹּ֤עַל 𐤐𐤏𐤋 poal deeds HNcmsc יְהוָה֙ 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp לֹ֣א 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn יַבִּ֔יטוּ 𐤉𐤁𐤉𐤈𐤅 yabitu they regard HVhi3mp וּ/מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה 𐤅/𐤌𐤏𐤔𐤄 umaaseh and work HC/Ncmsc יָדָ֖י/ו 𐤉𐤃𐤉/𐤅 yadayv of his hands HNcbdc/Sp3ms לֹ֥א 𐤋𐤀 lo-2 not HTn רָאֽוּ 𐤓𐤀𐤅 rau they see HVqp3cp

Therefore go into exile my people for lack of knowledge and their glory men hunger and their multitude parched thirst

13 לָ/כֵ֛ן 𐤋/𐤊𐤍 lakhen Therefore HR/D גָּלָ֥ה 𐤂𐤋𐤄 galah go into exile HVqp3ms עַמִּ֖/י 𐤏𐤌/𐤉 ami my people HNcmsc/Sp1cs מִ/בְּלִי 𐤌/𐤁𐤋𐤉 mibeli for lack of HR/Ncmsc דָ֑עַת 𐤃𐤏𐤕 daat knowledge HNcfsa וּ/כְבוֹד/וֹ֙ 𐤅/𐤊𐤁𐤅𐤃/𐤅 ukhevodo and their glory HC/Ncbsc/Sp3ms מְתֵ֣י 𐤌𐤕𐤉 metey men HNcmpc רָעָ֔ב 𐤓𐤏𐤁 raav hunger HNcmsa וַ/הֲמוֹנ֖/וֹ 𐤅/𐤄𐤌𐤅𐤍/𐤅 vahamono and their multitude HC/Ncmsc/Sp3ms צִחֵ֥ה 𐤑𐤇𐤄 tsicheh parched HAamsc צָמָֽא 𐤑𐤌𐤀 tsama thirst HNcmsa

Therefore has enlarged Sheol its throat and opened its mouth without measure and will go down its splendor and its multitude and its uproar and the exultant one in it

14 לָ/כֵ֗ן 𐤋/𐤊𐤍 lakhen Therefore HR/D הִרְחִ֤יבָה 𐤄𐤓𐤇𐤉𐤁𐤄 hirechivah has enlarged HVhp3fs שְּׁאוֹל֙ 𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋 sheol Sheol HNp נַפְשָׁ֔/הּ 𐤍𐤐𐤔/𐤄 nafeshah its throat HNcbsc/Sp3fs וּ/פָעֲרָ֥ה 𐤅/𐤐𐤏𐤓𐤄 ufaarah and opened HC/Vqp3fs פִ֖י/הָ 𐤐𐤉/𐤄 fiha its mouth HNcmsc/Sp3fs לִ/בְלִי 𐤋/𐤁𐤋𐤉 liveli without HC/Tn חֹ֑ק 𐤇𐤒 choq measure HNcmsa וְ/יָרַ֨ד 𐤅/𐤉𐤓𐤃 veyarad and will go down HC/Vqq3ms הֲדָרָ֧/הּ 𐤄𐤃𐤓/𐤄 hadarah its splendor HNcmsc/Sp3fs וַ/הֲמוֹנָ֛/הּ 𐤅/𐤄𐤌𐤅𐤍/𐤄 vahamonah and its multitude HC/Ncmsc/Sp3fs וּ/שְׁאוֹנָ֖/הּ 𐤅/𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤍/𐤄 usheonah and its uproar HC/Ncmsc/Sp3fs וְ/עָלֵ֥ז 𐤅/𐤏𐤋𐤆 vealez and the exultant one HC/Aamsa בָּֽ/הּ 𐤁/𐤄 bah in it HR/Sp3fs

and shall be brought down man and shall be humbled man and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled

15 וַ/יִּשַּׁ֥ח 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤇 vayishach and shall be brought down HC/VNw3ms אָדָ֖ם 𐤀𐤃𐤌 adam man HNcmsa וַ/יִּשְׁפַּל 𐤅/𐤉𐤔𐤐𐤋 vayishepal and shall be humbled HC/Vqw3ms אִ֑ישׁ 𐤀𐤉𐤔 ish man HNcmsa וְ/עֵינֵ֥י 𐤅/𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉 veeyney and the eyes of HC/Ncbdc גְבֹהִ֖ים 𐤂𐤁𐤄𐤉𐤌 gevohim the lofty HAampa תִּשְׁפַּֽלְנָה 𐤕𐤔𐤐𐤋𐤍𐤄 tishepalenah shall be humbled HVqi3fp

and-will-be-exalted YHWH of-hosts in-judgment and-the-God the-Holy will-be-sanctified in-righteousness

16 וַ/יִּגְבַּ֛ה 𐤅/𐤉𐤂𐤁𐤄 vayigebah and-will-be-exalted HC/Vqw3ms יְהוָ֥ה 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 yehvah Nyambe (Lozi) YHWH HNp צְבָא֖וֹת 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 tsevaot of-hosts HNcbpa בַּ/מִּשְׁפָּ֑ט 𐤁/𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤈 bamishepat in-judgment HRd/Ncmsa וְ/הָ/אֵל֙ 𐤅/𐤄/𐤀𐤋 vehael and-the-God HC/Td/Ncmsa הַ/קָּד֔וֹשׁ 𐤄/𐤒𐤃𐤅𐤔 haqadosh the-Holy HTd/Aamsa נִקְדָּ֖שׁ 𐤍𐤒𐤃𐤔 niqedash will-be-sanctified HVNrmsa בִּ/צְדָקָֽה 𐤁/𐤑𐤃𐤒𐤄 bitsedaqah in-righteousness HR/Ncfsa

and lambs will graze lambs as in their pasture and ruins of the fat ones strangers will eat
