Proverbs 2

A father exhorts his son to apply his heart to wisdom, treasure YHWH's commandments, and seek understanding to receive discernment, protection from wicked men, and deliverance from the forbidden woman.[1][3]

to guard to guard paths well-trodden paths of justice judgment and way and a trodden path his saints his covenant-loyal one his saints his covenant-loyal ones he preserves he will guard

then at-that-time you will understand you will discern righteousness rightness and justice and judgment and equity and straightnesses every whole-of path round-track good good

Verse 9 אָ֗ז 𐤀𐤆 az then at-that-time HD תָּ֭בִין 𐤕𐤁𐤉𐤍 tavin you will understand you will discern HVqi2ms צֶ֣דֶק 𐤑𐤃𐤒 tsedeq righteousness rightness HNcmsa וּ/מִשְׁפָּ֑ט 𐤅/𐤌𐤔𐤐𐤈 umishepat and justice and judgment HC/Ncmsa וּ֝/מֵישָׁרִ֗ים 𐤅/𐤌𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤉𐤌 umeysharim and equity and straightnesses HC/Ncmpa כָּל 𐤊𐤋 kal every whole-of HNcmsc מַעְגַּל 𐤌𐤏𐤂𐤋 maegal path round-track HNcmsc טֽוֹב 𐤈𐤅𐤁 tov good good HAamsa

for for (as reason or ground) comes you shall cause to enter wisdom wisdom into your heart and your heart and knowledge and knowledge to your soul for your life-breath will be pleasant he is delightful

Discretion a plotted scheme will guard you guard over you upon you Understanding discernment will watch over you she will guard you

to deliver you to snatch you away from the way from a path of evil a harmful one from the man from **a-man** who speaks one who is speaking perverse things overturnings

who leave the abandoning ones the paths well-trodden paths of of uprightness straightness to walk to walk in the ways in the trodden-ways of of darkness darkness

Verse 13 הַ֭/עֹ֣זְבִים 𐤄/𐤏𐤆𐤁𐤉𐤌 haozevim who leave the abandoning ones HTd/Vqrmpa אָרְח֣וֹת 𐤀𐤓𐤇𐤅𐤕 arechot the paths well-trodden paths of HNcbpc יֹ֑שֶׁר 𐤉𐤔𐤓 yosher of uprightness straightness HNcmsa לָ֝/לֶ֗כֶת 𐤋/𐤋𐤊𐤕 lalekhet to walk to walk HR/Vqc בְּ/דַרְכֵי 𐤁/𐤃𐤓𐤊𐤉 bedarekhey in the ways in the trodden-ways of HR/Ncbpc חֹֽשֶׁךְ 𐤇𐤔𐤊 choshekhe Ubushiku (Bemba) of darkness darkness HNcmsa

who forsakes the forsaking woman companion clan-chief of her youth her youthful-years and and (the very) covenant cutting-compact of her God her gods forgets she has become oblivious

so that for the sake of (in heed to) you will walk you will walk in the way in the trodden path of good men good ones and paths and well-trodden paths of of the righteous righteous ones you will keep you guard

Verse 20 לְמַ֗עַן 𐤋𐤌𐤏𐤍 lemaan so that for the sake of (in heed to) HR תֵּ֭לֵךְ 𐤕𐤋𐤊 telekhe you will walk you will walk HVqi2ms בְּ/דֶ֣רֶךְ 𐤁/𐤃𐤓𐤊 bederekhe in the way in the trodden path HR/Ncbsc טוֹבִ֑ים 𐤈𐤅𐤁𐤉𐤌 tovim of good men good ones HAampa וְ/אָרְח֖וֹת 𐤅/𐤀𐤓𐤇𐤅𐤕 vearechot and paths and well-trodden paths of HC/Ncbpc צַדִּיקִ֣ים 𐤑𐤃𐤉𐤒𐤉𐤌 tsadiqim of the righteous righteous ones HAampa תִּשְׁמֹֽר 𐤕𐤔𐤌𐤓 tishemor you will keep you guard HVqi2ms

for for (as reason or ground) the upright upright ones will dwell they will dwell in the land firm land and the blameless and the whole ones will remain they will be left over in it —

Verse 21 כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki for for (as reason or ground) HC יְשָׁרִ֥ים 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤉𐤌 yesharim the upright upright ones HAampa יִשְׁכְּנוּ 𐤉𐤔𐤊𐤍𐤅 yishekenu will dwell they will dwell HVqi3mp אָ֑רֶץ 𐤀𐤓𐤑 arets in the land firm land HNcbsa וּ֝/תְמִימִ֗ים 𐤅/𐤕𐤌𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 utemimim and the blameless and the whole ones HC/Aampa יִוָּ֥תְרוּ 𐤉𐤅𐤕𐤓𐤅 yivateru will remain they will be left over HVNi3mp בָֽ/הּ 𐤁/𐤄 vah in it HR/Sp3fs

but the wicked and the guilty ones from the earth from the firm-land will be cut off they will be cut off and the treacherous and the men dealing treacherously will be uprooted they will be torn away from it from her
