Proverbs 14

Proverbs 14 contrasts the wise and the foolish: the wise fear YHWH, build their houses, speak truth, and find life, while the foolish are reckless, tear down, lie, and lead to death. Key teachings include 'There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death' (Prov 14:12), the prudent consider their steps, righteousness exalts a nation, and the wicked will bow before the righteous.[1][2][3][4][5]

Verse 6

seeks he sought diligently he sought diligently scoffer scorner scorner wisdom wisdom wisdom and-[there is]-none and there is not but it is not but knowledge knowledge-of but knowledge to [one who is] discerning discerning one to the discerning one is easy one treated lightly is easy

Verse 21

despises plunder despises his neighbor to his associate to his associate sins the one who errs the one who sins but is gracious and the grace-imploring one and is gracious the poor afflicted ones afflicted ones the humble humble ones the humble happy is he his happinesses happy is he
