Now Joseph had been brought down to Egypt and he bought him Potiphar an officer of Pharaoh chief of the guard a man Egyptian from the hand of the Ishmaelites who had brought him there

And he was YHWH with Joseph and he was man successful and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian

saw his master that YHWH was with him and all that he did YHWH caused to prosper in his hand

and found Joseph favor in his eyes and served him and appointed him over his house and all that he had he put into his hand

And it came to pass from then he appointed him in his house and over all that there was to him and blessed YHWH [direct object marker] house of the Egyptian because of Joseph and was blessing of YHWH upon all that there was to him in the house and in the field

and he left all that he had in the hand of Joseph and he did not know with it anything except that except the bread which he was eating and Joseph was Joseph handsome in form and handsome in appearance

and it came about after these things these lifted up wife of his master (direct object marker) her eyes toward Joseph and she said lie down with me

7 וַ/יְהִ֗י 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi and it came about HC/Vqw3ms אַחַר֙ 𐤀𐤇𐤓 achar after HR הַ/דְּבָרִ֣ים 𐤄/𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉𐤌 hadevarim these things HTd/Ncmpa הָ/אֵ֔לֶּה 𐤄/𐤀𐤋𐤄 haeleh these HTd/Pdxcp וַ/תִּשָּׂ֧א 𐤅/𐤕𐤔𐤀 vatisa lifted up HC/Vqw3fs אֵֽשֶׁת 𐤀𐤔𐤕 eshet wife HNcfsc אֲדֹנָ֛י/ו 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉/𐤅 adonayv of his master HNcmpc/Sp3ms אֶת 𐤀𐤕 et (direct object marker) HTo עֵינֶ֖י/הָ 𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉/𐤄 eyneyha her eyes HNcbdc/Sp3fs אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el toward HR יוֹסֵ֑ף 𐤉𐤅𐤎𐤐 yosef Joseph HNp וַ/תֹּ֖אמֶר 𐤅/𐤕𐤀𐤌𐤓 vatomer and she said HC/Vqw3fs שִׁכְבָ֥/ה 𐤔𐤊𐤁/𐤄 shikhevah lie down HVqv2ms/Sh עִמִּֽ/י 𐤏𐤌/𐤉 imi with me HR/Sp1cs

but he refused and said to wife of his master behold my master not knows with me what in the house and all that there is to him he has given into my hand

8 וַ/יְמָאֵ֓ן 𐤅/𐤉𐤌𐤀𐤍 vayemaen but he refused HC/Vpw3ms וַ/יֹּ֨אמֶר֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer and said HC/Vqw3ms אֶל 𐤀𐤋 el to HR אֵ֣שֶׁת 𐤀𐤔𐤕 eshet wife of HNcfsc אֲדֹנָ֔י/ו 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉/𐤅 adonayv his master HNcmpc/Sp3ms הֵ֣ן 𐤄𐤍 hen behold HTm אֲדֹנִ֔/י 𐤀𐤃𐤍/𐤉 adoni my master HNcmsc/Sp1cs לֹא 𐤋𐤀 lo not HTn יָדַ֥ע 𐤉𐤃𐤏 yada knows HVqp3ms אִתִּ֖/י 𐤀𐤕/𐤉 iti with me HR/Sp1cs מַה 𐤌𐤄 mah what HTi בַּ/בָּ֑יִת 𐤁/𐤁𐤉𐤕 babayit in the house HRd/Ncmsa וְ/כֹ֥ל 𐤅/𐤊𐤋 vekhol and all HC/Ncmsa אֲשֶׁר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher that HTr יֶשׁ 𐤉𐤔 yesh there is HTm ל֖/וֹ 𐤋/𐤅 lo-2 to him HR/Sp3ms נָתַ֥ן 𐤍𐤕𐤍 natan he has given HVqp3ms בְּ/יָדִֽ/י 𐤁/𐤉𐤃/𐤉 beyadi into my hand HR/Ncbsc/Sp1cs

There is none greater in this house this than I nor has he kept back from me anything because except you because you are his wife How then could I do this great evil great this and sin against God

And it came to pass as she spoke to Joseph day by day that he did not listen to her to lie beside her to be with her

and it happened about this day that he went into the house to do his work and there was no man of the men of the house there in the house

she caught him by his garment saying lie with me and he left his garment in her hand and he fled and he went out outside

12 וַ/תִּתְפְּשֵׂ֧/הוּ 𐤅/𐤕𐤕𐤐𐤔/𐤄𐤅 vatitepesehu she caught him HC/Vqw3fs/Sp3ms בְּ/בִגְד֛/וֹ 𐤁/𐤁𐤂𐤃/𐤅 bevigedo by his garment HR/Ncmsc/Sp3ms לֵ/אמֹ֖ר 𐤋/𐤀𐤌𐤓 lemor saying HR/Vqc שִׁכְבָ֣/ה 𐤔𐤊𐤁/𐤄 shikhevah lie HVqv2ms/Sh עִמִּ֑/י 𐤏𐤌/𐤉 imi with me HR/Sp1cs וַ/יַּעֲזֹ֤ב 𐤅/𐤉𐤏𐤆𐤁 vayaazov and he left HC/Vqw3ms בִּגְד/וֹ֙ 𐤁𐤂𐤃/𐤅 bigedo his garment HNcmsc/Sp3ms בְּ/יָדָ֔/הּ 𐤁/𐤉𐤃/𐤄 beyadah in her hand HR/Ncbsc/Sp3fs וַ/יָּ֖נָס 𐤅/𐤉𐤍𐤎 vayanas and he fled HC/Vqw3ms וַ/יֵּצֵ֥א 𐤅/𐤉𐤑𐤀 vayetse and he went out HC/Vqw3ms הַ/חֽוּצָ/ה 𐤄/𐤇𐤅𐤑/𐤄 hachutsah outside HTd/Ncmsa/Sd

And it came to pass when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand and he fled outside

13 וַ/יְהִי֙ 𐤅/𐤉𐤄𐤉 vayehi And it came to pass HC/Vqw3ms כִּ/רְאוֹתָ֔/הּ 𐤊/𐤓𐤀𐤅𐤕/𐤄 kireotah when she saw HR/Vqc/Sp3fs כִּֽי 𐤊𐤉 ki that HC עָזַ֥ב 𐤏𐤆𐤁 azav he had left HVqp3ms בִּגְד֖/וֹ 𐤁𐤂𐤃/𐤅 bigedo his garment HNcmsc/Sp3ms בְּ/יָדָ֑/הּ 𐤁/𐤉𐤃/𐤄 beyadah in her hand HR/Ncbsc/Sp3fs וַ/יָּ֖נָס 𐤅/𐤉𐤍𐤎 vayanas and he fled HC/Vqw3ms הַ/חֽוּצָ/ה 𐤄/𐤇𐤅𐤑/𐤄 hachutsah outside HTd/Ncmsa/Sd

she called to the men of her household and said to them saying See he has brought to us a man Hebrew to mock us us He came to me to lie with me with me and I cried with a loud voice loud
