Chapter 1
The genealogy of Jesus Christ, son of David and Abraham, traces from Abraham to Yosef, husband of Miryam. An angel announces to Yosef that Miryam's conception by the Ruach HaKodesh fulfills prophecy, and he names the child Yeshua.[1][3]
Chapter 2
Magoi from the east worship the child Yeshua in Beit-Lechem, fulfilling prophecy. Herodes slaughters children after their departure, but an angel warns Yosef to flee to Mitsrayim, later returning to Natzeret.[1][3]
Chapter 3
Yochanan haMatbil preaches repentance and immerses in the Yarden, rebuking Perushim and Tzedukim. Yeshua is immersed, the heavens open, and the voice of HaShem declares him the beloved Son.[1][2]
Chapter 4
Yeshua overcomes temptation by Hasatan in the midbar, quoting Devarim. He begins proclaiming the basar of the malchut ha-shamayim in the Galil, calling Kepha, Andrai, Ya'akov, and Yochanan as talmidim.[1][2][3]
Chapter 5
In the Sermon on the Mount, Yeshua teaches the Beatitudes, fulfillment of Torah, salt and ohr, anger as murder, adultery in the heart, oaths, retaliation, love for enemies, and giving to the needy.[1][2]
Chapter 6
Yeshua teaches on giving to the poor, tefillah including the Avinu shebashamayim, tzom, treasures in shamayim, not worrying about life, and seeking first the malchut and tzedakah of Elohim.[1][2]
Chapter 7
Yeshua concludes the Sermon on the Mount: judging others, pearls before chazirim, asking Avinu, derech hatzadikim vs. resha'im, false nevi'im by fruit, wise and foolish builders.[1]
Chapter 8
Yeshua cleanses a metzorah, heals the eved of a Roman centurion showing great emunah, heals Kefa’s chamot, casts out shedim from two men in Gadara, and calms a storm.[1][3]
Chapter 9
Yeshua heals a paralyzed man, calls Mattityahu the mokhes, eats with chamartanim, raises Bat-Yeshua, heals two ivrim and a mute possessed by shedim; the multitudes marvel.[3]
Chapter 10
Yeshua commissions the Shneym Asar with authority over shedim and choleh, instructs on mission to Yisrael, persecution, not fearing those killing the basar, confessing him before men.[1][2]
Chapter 11
Yeshua affirms Yochanan as Eliyahu ha-ba, rebukes dor rah ve-navlon for rejecting both, invites weary to take his ol, praising Avinu for revealing to olamim.[1]
Chapter 12
Perushim accuse Yeshua’s talmidim of violating Shabbat; he defends as Ben-Adam adon haShabbat, heals yad yeveshit, casts out shedim by Ruach haElohim, sign of Yonah.[1]
Chapter 13
Yeshua teaches meshalim of the sower, wheat and weeds, mustard seed, chametz, hidden otzar, pearl of great price, net; explains privately to talmidim; rejected in Natzeret.[1]
Chapter 14
Herodes kills Yochanan haMatbil. Yeshua feeds 5,000 with five loaves and two dagim, walks on yam, Kefa sinks lacking emunah.[3]
Chapter 15
Yeshua rebukes Perushim on masoret over ma’amarei Elohim, heals benah of Kenaanit, feeds 4,000, warns of chametz Perushim and Tzedukim.[3]
Chapter 16
Pharisees and Sadducees demand a sign from heaven, which Jesus refuses except the sign of Jonah; he warns disciples of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees, then at Caesarea Philippi, Peter confesses Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of the living God.[1][2][3] Jesus declares Peter as rock upon which he will build his church, gives him the keys of the kingdom, predicts his own suffering, death, and resurrection in Jerusalem, rebukes Peter's opposition as satanic, and teaches on taking up one's cross and the coming of the Son of Man.[1][2][3]
Chapter 17
Hitgalut: Yeshua transfigured with Moshe and Eliyahu; voice from shechakim affirms. He heals na’ar yavesh beshedim, pays machatzit hashekel.[1]
Chapter 18
Yeshua teaches humility as children, not despising ketanim, mashal of lost iver, acharon yihyeh rishon, nasach eved.[1]
Chapter 19
Yeshua teaches on geirushin, celibacy for malchut shamayim. Baruchim come with yeladim; rich ne’eman struggles to follow.[1]
Chapter 20
Mashal po’alim b’kerem. Yeshua foretells mot. Bnei Zavdai request seats; first shall be eved. Heals two ivrim near Yericho.[1]
Chapter 21
Yeshua enters Yerushalayim on donkey fulfilling navi, cleanses Beis HaMikdash, curses etz teenah, confounds rashei kohanim on samchut, mashal bnei heikhal.[1]
Chapter 22
Perushim test with poll tax to Qeysar; Yeshua says render to Qeysar and to Elohim. Tzedukim on techiyat hameitim; mitzvah agadah rishonah ahavat Hashem.[1]
Chapter 23
Yeshua denounces sofrim and Perushim as tzevu’im, nevi’im false, Yerushalayim killer of nevi’im.[2]
Chapter 24
Yeshua on Har haZeytim predicts churban Beis HaMikdash, otot acharit hayamim, shikkutz shomem, tikkun kmo yamim Noach, Bo midbar.[1]
Chapter 25
Meschalim: eser betulot, talents, tzon and izzim. Be ready for bi’at Ben-Adam.[1]
Chapter 26
Plot against Yeshua; isha pours shemen on rosh. Seder Pesach, new brit, Kefa denies thrice. Gethsemane, betrayal by Yehudah, arrest.[1]
Chapter 27
Yehudah hangs; Pilate questions Yeshua, releases Bar-Abba, soldiers mock with keter thorns. Crucifixion at Gulgulta, mot at 9th hour, kevurah by Yosef haArimati.[1]
Chapter 28
Malach announces to Miryam and Miryam haMagdala: Yeshua risen. He meets them, Great Commission to make talmidim of kol haGoyim.[1]
