Leviticus 13

YHWH instructs the priest to examine suspected leprosy and isolate those with the disease to prevent its spread among the people.[1] The chapter details the examination process, including a seven-day observation period, and prescribes isolation and separation for those confirmed to have leprosy.[1]

a man when he has on the skin of his body a swelling or a scab or a bright spot and it becomes on the skin of his body as a mark of disease he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests
and shall examine the priest at the infection in the skin of the flesh and hair in the infection has turned white and the appearance of the infection deeper than the skin of his body infection of leprosy it is and the priest shall examine it the priest and shall pronounce him unclean him
and shall look the priest at him on the day the seventh a second time and behold faded the infection and not spread the infection in the skin and shall pronounce him clean the priest scab it and shall wash his clothes and be clean
and shall see it the priest and behold has turned the hair white in the bright spot and its appearance deeper than the skin leprosy it is in the burn has broken out and he shall pronounce unclean him the priest plague of leprosy it is
And if he sees the priest direct object marker the plague of the scall and behold not its appearance deep than the skin and hair black not in it and he shall shut up the priest direct object marker the plague of the scall seven days
and shall examine the priest - the scale on the day the seventh and behold not has spread the scale in the skin its appearance it is not deeper than the skin he shall pronounce clean him the priest and he shall wash his clothes and be clean
and-he-shall-examine [direct object marker] the-plague on-the-day the-seventh if has-spread the-plague in-the-garment or in-the-warp or in-the-woof or in-the-skin for-all that is-made the-skin for-work leprosy fretting the-plague unclean it
and he shall burn [direct object marker] the garment whether [direct object marker] the warp or [direct object marker] the woof in wool or in linen or [direct object marker] any article of skin which is in it the mark for leprosy malignant it is in the fire it shall be burned
and shall look the priest after it is washed direct object marker the mark and behold not has changed the mark direct object marker its appearance and the mark not has spread unclean it in the fire you shall burn it fret it on its bald spot or on its forehead
